Staying here was an amazing experience. Loved the service and the staff. Will be visiting again

I was a little concerned that some of the reviews said there was a lot of noise. I stayed for a weekend and had no trouble at all with noise. I was on the 6th floor. We loved the style of the hotel. Our room had a super bed with excellent sheets and pillows. The shower is huge and very nice to use. I would rebook and refer friends to stay here. The sheer curtain over the glass wall that provides the bathroom privacy may not be comfortable with couples or friends who are on the shy side. The place is spotless, the staff is very helpful, the rooftop restaurant food was excellent. The morning free coffee and grab-and-go breakfast items (for pay) are ideal for a simple breakfast. The place opened in 2017 and is starting to show some wear and tear on the decor but it is still a great place. If you aren't used to urban living the neighborhood is a little sketchy at night. Use car service, don't walk (Hollywood is still trying hard to work on this and has been for years.)

Hotel guests did not get priority service...overcrowded boisterious drunken guests...noisy and VERY EXPENSIVE.
60 dollars USD to park for each night!!!

Room was a bit worn looking. Light fixture and bedside table missing. Shower was awful. Very slippery.

Not the experience I expected for the price!!! Room reserved was not the room we received. The hotel staff were not attentive and actually neglectful. The location is good and the hotel is safe.
Will NOT go back again! Shop around!

The hotel itself was very nice and modern, with a beautiful lobby area open to the air. Our room, unfortunately was on a side next to a nightclub with extremely loud music and thumping bass until 3:00 AM. We didn’t have a good nights sleep our entire stay. Although we liked the hotel, we won’t stay there again.

Overall the hotel itself was ok but I would not stay here again nor recommend to anyone with kids or looking to be asleep before 3am.
We arrived on Thursday and were given a room on the 3rd floor, just above the gym. Music from the club next door kept us awake until almost 3am and then we were awoken early to the sound of weights dropping on the level below.
The staff were great about moving us and even gave breakfast vouchers, which was not expected but appreciated.
The last 2 night however we were still kept up by noisy street (cars reving in front of the hotel and club) and again music from the neighbouring bars.

Beautiful hotel, kind staff, great service

Valet parking was not responsive - I had to text and call multiple times.
Air conditioning had some issues - I had to ask for a technician, technician was a great guy though who fixed it within 10 mins.
Area around hotel isn’t too safe… lots of clubs and weird people around including homeless.
Not for a family for sure.

This hotel would have been amazing if I was 25.
There are a lit of cool bars in the area and the rooftop bar was nice but it’s really noisy if you’re staying there for work or if you’re just too old for shenanigans.

1500 characters, let's go. First arrive, foyer is awesome and staff were super friendly, place looked great. Hop up to my balcony room, try to stash by liquid medicine; no fridge. Huge piece of furniture that was the mini bar, though. No problem, call down and they brought me up a dilapidated one - none the less, fridge problem solved. Check out the room, small, but nice. Balcony overlooks the rooftop of the next door building. Oh well, got a balcony. And good thing! Because the complex doesn't have a washer or dryer! You have to ask days in advance to get clothes cleaned. So the smudge I washed off my shirt manually made full use of the balcony and California sun to dry. Shower is massive and gorgeous! Water falls straight down into a 2 foot diameter section. Did the job I guess. Getting ready was a bit tough because the lighting in the bathroom resembles that of a dive bar where you don't want to see your date very well. Bedroom, lighting amazing. Bathroom, I don't know if my hair was brushed. Seems backwards? Okay whatever time to iron my suitcase clothing. Nope, no iron. Got a steamer tho! And it works! Nothing to steam it on. No iron board and NO HOOKS ANYWHERE. No towel rod no towel hooks a n y w h e r e. Plop my shirt on the 2 foot high bed and steam away.
The place looks great and the service really was outstanding and very polite. The room just had so many swings and misses for the cost. To the point I'm writing probably my third review ever..

The hotel itself is really good, only the bathroom has almost no privacy and the street in the hollywood neighbourhood is not the best. Its dirty, its loud and at night its maybe not that safe, especially for women...

Amazing and loved the area and alot of stuff is close and nearby to explore!

The property itself was well maintained and the front desk staff as well as the front bartender were friendly. The area like much of the rest of the city does not inspire a lot of safety, but it’s definitely not the worst area.

This was our second stay at this hotel. It’s very clean, staff is friendly and we love the hotel aesthetic. We did valet parking this time which was clutch. Also love the robot they have which brings items to your room. Would def stay here again in the future.

Beautiful modern hotel with fun club and dining. Cool room but the only drawback is that the bathroom is literally part of the bedroom leaving zero privacy or personal care noise control. Also terrible lighting in the sink/mirror area for anyone who has make-up to apply. Overall positive experience.

My birthday dinner at the Highlight Room was canceled 2 days before because of a private event. It is impossible to get a Friday night reservation anywhere in the area last minute. We reserved this hotel because of the rooftop pool but each day the hotel guests were asked to leave at 1:00 pm because a pool party was thrown by the restaurant We did have dinner at the Highlight on Sat at 9 pm. Our food arrived after 10:00 and then at 10:45 we were told we had to leave because they were throwing a late night party at 11:00. Both nights we stayed at the hotel they threw a late night party where you had to have a ticket to get in. The music reverberated on our floor until after 2:30am. We paid extra to be on an upper floor/ big mistake!!! There were six of us in our party which means we had 3 rooms for 2 nights. The hotel guests are not a priority at the Dream Hotel Hollywood !

Restaurant was average for the price point. Server was great Manager of restaurant was dismissive of requests and condescending Dinner was an hour in coming and manager soon said we had 15 minutes to finish as rooftop restaurant was being converted to a night club Facility fee of $42 per day covered pool and gym (Never use hotel gyms ) Both Friday 5p and Saturday pool 1p closed early for private events Chose hotel for rooftop pool so that didn't work out Room two floors below rooftop sounded like a techno pop, which I love, club from music above until 2a Parking is $60 per night. So judge hotel in rate plus $102 per night

Hotel is next to Tao nightclub so staying there on the weekend is at your own risk. We arrived after 11pm only to struggle with parking. Should have looked at reviews first to know the hotel doesnt include any type of parking. Valet is the only option at $60 a night. Around the corner is another lot where we were charged $50/night or offered a deal at $90 for 2 nights. Even the lady at the front counter when we spoke about parking said typically the lot charges $30/ night.
Getting in wasn't difficult with only one scare when the elevator took us to the floor and didn't open for a good minute. The room was a very different layout, geared more toward non-privacy amongst couples so I wouldn't recommend for a family. Shower was huge, large enough for a couple. Bed area was separated by a wall from the barhroom with pretty comfortable bed and sheets. One side had a nightstand, but the room had enough space to include one on the other side as well, but didn't. Plugs were there on the side of bed, including usb ports. Lightning was extremely dim overall, but again, probably purposefully set up for couples.
Other reviews also noted it being loud due to music & we did hear it from the 4th floor. We didn't mind nor did we hear anything from neighbors either.
Overall, I don't believe I would stay there again for the location or price. We didn't even get a chance to check out the roof or pool. Just heard that it was a great view.

Internet wasn’t great, unable to watch TV without it glitching and freezing.
Too loud to get a good night’s rest since the rooftop club was above us.
I was hoping to utilize the rooftop pool everyday as it’s included in amenities and why I chose this particular hotel but was told during check in that it’ll be closed 2 out of the 4 days we stayed due to a private party.

Very trendy relaxed. Super friendly staff and very helpful I am not really into the scene. I work in a hospital boring guy. This place was close to what I was there for so I booked it. Happy I did. I would go back

I love the upstairs pool, very friendly, nice atmosphere, beautiful people. I love the entrance to the hotel As you walk in their sitting area is beautiful nice décor. As you walk in you are presented with a glass of wine. Nice touch. Great customer service.

It is very close to the Star Walk and restaurants. Please clean the room and bathroom, which are very nice.

They had a private party that went till 4 am and we got no sleep. I hate when there is no for warning about private parties in a hotel. Also they were frisking for guns which was a little disturbing. Horrible horrible night. Shows what happens when poorly run.

10/10 recommend. We came for a concert and stayed one night and had the best experience. All staff was helpful and friendly. The food at the highlight roof top was Amazing ! Both breakfast and lunch. The gym was also very clean and have everything you would need. The free shuttle service we did not know about until we arrived and that was another bonus that will take you for free within four miles of the hotel so they took us to the Hollywood bowl. We will definitely be staying there anytime in the future if in the area!
