Positives: The bed was comfortable, it was nice having a sink in the room, the hotel was right next to a tram station which as well as a Carrefour (super convenient!) and I liked the keypad lock system because it meant that I didn't have to bring a key or access card around with me. Additionally, both my room and the communal bathrooms were surprisingly clean.
Negatives: I wish there were more options for breakfast, I found the lighting in my room to be quiet dim, and there was no air conditioner so prepare to boil.
Overall, I found the hotel to have great value for the price.

Quite OK for the cheapest hotel in town. Shared toilet-shower at the hallway; clean but smelly. Vending machine out-of-service. Still good value for money.

The hotel denied our confirmed reservation and we had to roam around in new city at night. the staff was super rude.

Cons: We paid for breakfast which consisted of a packet of brioche bread and some spreads. There was a a dead fly in the sink when we checked in. No bin in the room.
Pros: Location was convenient. Showers were clean and comfy.

Good location for onward journey by train in Germany, just 10 mins walk over Rhine footbridge. Room was small but en-suite shower/toilet was of benefit and made the hotel a plus for a one night stay at a very reasonable price.

The property is basic...and they had no towels. We were leaving early on friday morning & they wouldn’t have towels until 10am that day. REALLY disappointing, we just used spare sheets/pillow cases! The bed was hard and the pillow was flat...however it was cheap as so what can you expect, it’s not 5 star.

Price was too high for what we got (no towels, coo room).

You don’t call it a hotel if you don’t have towels for 2 days!!!

Good hotel for the price paid. Conveniently located very close to the station of a tram that gets you to the city center in around 20 minutes. Staff is nice.

VERY basic. No kitchen facility, no WiFi.Its REALLY close to the transit station though, so getting into town is very easy. Otherwise this place is literally just a bed to sleep in. Nothing else.

Cons:Vending machine was broken and they didn’t replace the toilet paper in a stall. No public sinks to wash your hands, only the one in the room and there is no hand soap so bring your own. It is a bit far from the city and the tram workers happened to strike while were were there which meant expensive Uber rides from city centre back (but not the hotels fault just something to keep in mind). Pros:Very good value. If you are truly just looking for a comfortable private bed this is a great option. I personally like the way the hotel was designed and the whole travel motif was pretty cool. The whole “hostel concept” but as a hotel really works for budget travellers but they definitely have a few kinks to work out.

We decided to visit Strasbourg's historic center, and found the F1 to be on the periphery of the city. We had a car, so staying EXACTLY in the middle of town was NOT important; within 5 minutes or so from the F1, we were parked and within easy walking distance of the Cathedral. We have traveled extensively throughout France, and have stayed at dozens of F1s; they are simple, convenient, and inexpensive, while allowing a comfortable (and, generally, quiet) good night's rest. The F1 in Strasbourg was DEFINITELY quiet, and included an en suite bathroom, which is DEFINITELY NOT typical of the F1 chain of hotels. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the parking was convenient, and the Wi-Fi was good.
