very nice hotel , it has been very luxurious but would not hurt to have some updated and a bit of paint here and there. but loved the location

A bit oldish but nice hotel in a beautiful garden overseeing the sea. We had a room on a top floor with a big balcony and a gorgeous view. The furniture has seen better times but looked antique and sufficiently comfortable. A quiet location but a bit difficult to get around without your own car. If you have one, surely recommended!

Splendid place and excellent staff. Indeed needs some refurbishing.

Lovely hotel, but not near anything.
The pool was not open, but the beach was great.

Charming hotel with warm, friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our stay a dream! Breakfast included a diverse selection - something for everyone including my fave chocolate filled croissants and coffees. Location is perfect to enjoy the beach or walk into town with beautiful shops and incredible historic sights.
I would highly recommend 💕

I was so excited to stay here, and the place is absolutely gorgeous. The gardens and beach view are wonderful. Our room, however, was not great. First impression was that it smelt terribly, like an old persons home. The bed was uncomfy and moved easily (a rug would be a great suggestion). There were ants. Also the Wi-Fi was not great and the tv kept losing reception.
My biggest disappointment, however, were the surcharges. These should be clearly listed upfront. We were told €30 to hire a baby cot!!! Most places we have stayed offer these free or maximum €10. Access to the pool and/or beach is €12 per person (not advertised in the property description) and is only open 8:30am - 6pm. €12 per person buffet breakfast.

Ants living in the walls of the room which they knew about. restaurant fairly disappointing and overpriced. Gets the job done as a place to stay but not a four star hotel in my opinion.

Like stepping into a movie of old world elegance with modern functionality- super clean, charming and helpful staff.

The hotel was lovely and clean. Very comfortable. However when I booked the list of facilities were 2 restaurants, bar, snacks, pool, private beach and roof top terrace. Virtually everything closed as I assume end of season. I would not have booked if I had realised this. Should have been clear at time of booking

Staying at this hotel was a delight. It seemed like a grand hotel from the olden days, but very modern inside. I normally stay in much less posh places because of money. But, this hotel made me feel like a heiress traveling on a European holiday. The staff were very professional and helpful. The room was clean and modern with a very nice shower. We were also offered many toiletries and services. The view alone was enough to make our stay wonderful. The beach was very nice (and private). There was a little sitting area outside our room that was delightful. If you're looking for charm and convenience, this is the hotel for you (so long as you have a car. It is not within walking distance to the train station or other conveniences.)

Has a lot of potential, running under pressure with lots of weddings etc. Nice setting and outlook. Took three days to fix our shower. Staff worked hard. Private beach was good 36e a day. I would come back.

It is a beautiful, clean property we have been visiting for years. The staff makes you feel like you are their relatives and not just their guests. Wonderful place!

Just keep driving, maybe it’s ok in Summer but in November the restaurant was closed, access to the beach was closed. We had ants in our room.
Would never say hear again.

Nice but a little bit old-fashioned hotel.
The beach was not free, and you have to count 24 euros per day. Very clean but old rooms.

This place was charming in a fantastic location, staff were excellent making our stay more enjoyable. Only negative which is not a reflection on the facility and the staff is that residents at hotel have to pay additional fees for the sun beds on the private beach and to use the pool. But overall a fantastic stay especially as we had a sea view from our room.

The hotel is a charming old villa with pros and cons. Staff could be more friendly and helpfull in general. The nearby sorroundings are a quite boring and not very charming village. The hotel has amazing nice beach and if you have room with view on the sea you will have a wonderfull experience. Overall i dont think you get good value for money here considering to the pretty high price compared to comfort.
