Super quaint property on a quiet street south of Rittenhouse Square. The innkeeper and her staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing. My room was pleasant and the bed very comfortable. And the location is great base from which to explore Philly. Highly recommended.

Our second stay there. Very good again. It’s a really wonderful, old-time Philly home. The weekend breakfast was wonderful. During the week it’s an expanded continental. Good and fit the bill, but nothing super exciting. The staff are all really nice and helpful. Because we were there for an event with our bikes, they were extremely accommodating to find a safe place for them that also wasn’t too in the way. No tv in our room - we knew that when booking - but the wifi is very good to watch something on your own device. The next time we are in Philly we are highly likely to stay there again!!

Staff was very helpful in walking me through the process for late check in. Since I checked out at midnight and left at 7 am, I really can't say much more--it was a very comfy room but i can't remember a thing.

Beautiful and Well-Done rooms in the property. Staff were very accommodating and kindly helped us, even when we needed to check out before leaving Philadelphia later that afternoon. The breakfast was fresh and a great bonus to our stay. At the moment there's roadworks around the property, so one bus stop was out of action, but the SEPTA/transport website is up to date & there are other public transport options available, including a bit of a walk if you use the Phlash Tourist bus line, which stops not at, but a bit of a walkable trek from the Property. The important part is being able to look up the most up-to-date information:)

Only downside is no elevator. Great rooms. View of the street below. A/C keeps it perfect in summer. Lots of places to eat, shop & local museum makes it perfect for walking. Close to bus routes, one drops you at the corner at night. Buses & one subway line are close. Barber shops & nail salons to keep yourself fresh. Busy neighborhood at times when you are out walking. Good breakfast can last about a week before getting repetitive. Weekends are a bit more diverse. Kind, respectful & friendly staff.

A beautiful Historical setting that stands out as a nice small property worthy of visits again and again. Very Clean and filled with a welcoming staff. Parking is a bit tricky but Rittenhouse Square does have plenty of options.

Great check in and overall very friendly staff who made every effort to make my stay comfortable. Only reason for the 4 stars is a pretty basic continental breakfast and no coffee in my large suite with kitchen…somehow I expect that now at decent B&B. But a GREAT location and very nice rooms at decent prices so I would def recommend.

The property and area is really nice. I only gave it a 4/5 stars due to it being rather loud outside the facility, sharing a bathroom with someone who treats it as their own personal bathroom is not fun, the internet is slow, no tv, and the breakfast options were underwhelming.

Very charming and well-kept building with the loveliest staff! I appreciated the easy walk to/from Suburban station (~15 mins) and the city's main attractions, including the Independence Historical and Parkway museum districts (~30 mins north and east respectively), as well as plenty of restaurant options. I was in a top floor room and while there is no elevator, the stair flights are short so I had no issues with moderate-sized luggage. The weekday continental breakfast was solid. I would definitely look to stay here again if I'm ever in Philly.

Fantastic stay. The staff was SO friendly it felt like staying at a friend's house. Located in the most walkable part of the city. Super safe area with every type of restaurant, shop, and activity within a short walk. I was in the Rittenhouse Suite which was basically the size of an entire apartment. I'll definitely be staying here when I visit Philly again.

Charming property near Rittenhouse Square. It may not be easily accessible for those with some impairment, but sure worked for us. Room was clean and comfortable. I was tall enough to get a couple of hooks rebooked for draperies, but blinds were good enough without it. Had some trouble with TV, but a minor inconvenience. We would definitely consider a repeat stay at Renaissance.

This was everything we could have wanted in a Bed and Breakfast. We had a nice, spacious, comfortable room. They communicated with us in advance to ensure we had a smooth check-in (we were arriving late). Breakfast was delicious (it was a huge spread- lots of options including a couple options our host cooked special). Our host was very friendly as well!

Great walkable neighborhood, close to a lot of major attractions in the city, and the staff were amazing. Breakfast was outstanding. Completely my fault for not realizing that I had booked a room with a shared bathroom (not my preference), but in the end it was completely fine and easy to coordinate. Loved the attention to historic detail in the room.

Our stay was incredible! Maria and her Team are exceptional and we found out that we also have mutual friends in the Poconos, PA. The location was conveniently located near restaurants, shops, etc. and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay here. The location is great. Super walkable to just about anywhere you’d want to go. Yes, some of the amenities aren’t up to date, but that’s part of its charm. My only complaint would be that our room was directly above the kitchen so each morning a delicious aroma would waft up to our room and I’d wake up starving.

The breakfast is so wonderful. We also had pleasant conversations with the chef. He was so warm. The food is among the best breakfasts we have ever had in a hotel.

The hotel is very friendly, Maria was great and welcoming. You feel it is a family residence. My concern is that there is no elevator and I had a shared bathroom that I felt a little bit uncomfortable.
