Hotel full of "Long term residents". All male. Single female, travelling alkne, felt VERY vulnerable. Only stayed and hour.

The impression from the website was of a far better place than we found. We all know that Google allows firms to pay to have them put further up the list of resources. Firms that don't pay get left out or ignored. So we get false impressions of the search results. I think the time is rapidly coming when we ought to return to having professional inspectors who have consistent standards.

Location is very good close to town and beaches. Friendly staff. Room and toulet were clean and comfortable. On the last night of our stay had a young couple 18 year olds that come back from a party and stayed walking around , jumping and dropping things in the room above us from 12:30 until 03:30. I had to go upstairs and tell them to be quiet. The rest of the stay was fine.

I stayed 5 nights at The Manor Hotel in Exmouth. The staff were friendly and helpful and were always polite. My room was excellent, i booked a single and ended up with a double. I would definitely recommend and I will stay here again.

Room rather small, walls very thin, next room banged on wall as TV on not very loud. Also woken up early by room above getting up foot steps and water pipes.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Stayed for a weekend with our dog, nothing was too much trouble. Had a very good meal in the bar, there was a great range of wines and a very well stocked bar. My partner particularly liked the local ale brewed only 100 yds away. Room was clean with very comfortable bed and great views.

Stayed here whilst walking the coast path. Room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. I didn't eat here so I can't comment on the food. Only very minor bit of feedback is I found the TV was mounted too high on the wall for my liking. Ok I guess to watch lying down! Overall would certainly recommend this hotel for cleanliness, customer care, and central location.

Breakfast was very good.Only a couple of issues is it is very hard to park in the surrounding areas if you haven't pre-booked one of the 5 spaces at the hotel also the wifi barely worked on the top floor. We would stay again

We were able to park our car prior to check in as we were going out for lunch and were able to have a drink knowing car was safely parked. Spent an enjoyable evening in the bar watching French Open with others, great atmosphere. Wonderful sea views from our room which was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely overnight stay. Old hotel so a few wonky walls and quirky layouts . Room looked newly decorated,clean and fresh. Worth paying for sea view. Beautiful view to wake up to .Could do with some biscuits on the tea and coffee tray .

Hotel is in a great location, however our bedroom ( especially for the price we paid) was very underwhelming. Extremely small room with the most uncomfortable and, again small, bed I have ever had the misfortune of paying to sleep in. The service Howe we was good and the building is great so, hopefully, they have better room and bed alternatives.

The evening sun makes just a few tables near the windows most uncomfortable on sunny evenings, a sun blind is an absolute necessity in the dining room. In an ideal situation close to town and the sea front, the only drawback is the very limited amount of parking space.

The hotel was very conveniently situated for the town and the seafront. Our room was a bit quirky but spotless and the beds were very comfortable. We had dinner which was perfectly good and the breakfast was outstanding! The staff were excellent and the whole atmosphere spoke of a happy environment. Parking is a bit problematic but otherwise we had a very good, value for money experience.
