The Riverview has an off-the-beaten-path look to it; pretty plain and out-of-the way appearance. But for the money, a pleasant enough experience. The room was clean, comfortable; everything in working order. No bugs. Clean shower. Office staff, though difficult to reach, was very helpful. My business was finished early and I tried to cancel 2nd night through Expedia. No help there whatsoever, after being bounced around to at least 3 reps. The hotel onsite staff took care of it without batting an eye. Don't be reluctant to stay here. Quiet; convenient; no indication of unsavories in the area..

The hotel has bland exterior and work or some type of work supplies were very visible. I found the office staff very pleasant. My room was large and clean. There was guest coming and going and talk all hours of the night.

We have stayed here twice, and had a great experience both times. Rooms are fairly large, beds comfortable. All of the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. We will stay again.

The bed was comfortable, and the air was cold. The sink had hair in it, but the rest of the room was clean. The motel is advertised as smoke-free, but I had to walk through a wall of smoke to get to my room. The smoke followed me into my room. Chairs were placed on the sidewalk outside the room doors, and smokers utilized the chairs for smoke breaks.

I’ve stayed here before and although the outside is not something beautiful, the rooms are clean…HOWEVER, on this visit, I found a little roach crawling in the bathroom this morning. So I was saddened to see this and will not come back.

Definitely has had some upgrades. New floor and furniture in most rooms (I've stayed in 3 since the renovations). Staff and management are wonderful, and I love the fact that there's an attendant available overnight.

I have stayed here several times while in town for business. It is close to downtown which makes an easy commute. The best place for the price. No frills but more importantly, always clean, quiet, and courteously staffed. The beds and pillows are comfortable and I sleep well. Not a resort but perfect for my needs. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel for the price. It was very clean and comfortable. We just needed it for an overnight stop and it was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Stayed overnight to catch the Key West Express boat the next morning. Even though it was only a few miles, it took @35 minutes to get there, even in the early morning hours. Calculate that in your plans.

The floors were super dirty and looked like nobody had swept the floor, also our trash can was still full so nobody changed our trash either. Made me wonder about the bedding..

As soon as you arrive at Riverview, you know roughly what you're going to get. The accommodations are typical of a motel but are of high quality and very clean. The staff is friendly and there were no individuals loitering, drinking, or smoking around the premises when I stayed there. Everything seemed quite safe.

The room was fine and good value. The water view is nice tho the abandoned dirt pool is what you see first. To me the value was worth the stay as the room was quite pleasant
