I had an exceptional experience at Sheep Mountain Lodge. As a first-time solo traveler, I wasn't sure what to expect. The property was beautiful, and they made my stay so comfortable — great cabin, food, and people. Thank you!

We enjoyed the soak in the enclosed hot tub. It was just what we needed to soak our sore achey muscles. We saw some Dall sheep on the mountain behind the lodge, had to use binoculars to appreciate the sheep. The room size is generous, comfortable and plenty of hot water. Each unit is a separate cabin, nice for privacy. Hiking trails full of fall foliage behind the cabins. The restaurant offered many delicious food options. The housekeeping staff found my watch by the hot tub area where I had left it and turned it in to lost and found. I was so happy when I went an hour back to get my watch and really appreciated their honesty in taking care of my forgotten watch. Love this place and would recommend highly for anyone traveling the Glenn highway as either a place to eat or stay a night or two.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sheep Mountain Lodge. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was awesome. We did eat dinner at the restaurant and was very good. The views are awesome. The little porch was a great place for morning coffee and to absorb the surroundings. I would definitely stay here again.

This place is a hidden gem!! Mark (the owner) is amazing! We took a helicopter ride with him today to the nearby glacier and landed on the glacier and he proceeded to walk us around and teach us all about the physics of a glacier! Fascinating! The food is excellent!! Can’t recommend it enough. We have seen moose, bear, and Dall Mountain Sheep! Mostly from the front porch of our cabin! There are a series of trails for hiking too. Wonderful place!

This is an oasis in the Sheep Mountain area. We arrived, got to our room, had an amazing meal, and saw about a dozen fall sheep on the side of the mountain. Can’t wait to explore the glacier and do a bit of hiking tomorrow!

We travelled through Alaska in May and this was a pleasant stay with a cabin overlooking beautiful snow capped mountains. Room service from their restaurant was great and convenient. Secluded cabin just make sure you fill up your gas tank before arriving as the next one is a drive away!

This place is awesome. Nestled in the mountains off the highway, with no shortage of great views. You can spot sheep right from your cabins, and the staff was absolutely fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights here. The food was also excellent.

Beautiful surroundings!! Nice, groomed ski trails. We were grateful they are dog friendly! It was very comfortable for our group of six. Mark was quick to respond about questions, via email.

I absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! Super roomy! Perfect kitchen amenities! We ordered off of the menu. The best fish & chips, and blue cheese burger!! So quiet and peaceful! Now, for the staff! Our little Nissan got stuck immediately! The two women on duty, helped without a hesitation! They also upgraded our room! So thankful! I would love to stay here during the summer. Highly recommend!

Besides the view was amazing. The bed was very saggy. No tv. Radio. Or games. All u had to do was look at the mountain. The restaurant was nice we had the blackened halibut. Very good.
