The location and the history of the place.

The inn was so cute and cozy. It was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in! The mattress was very comfy and the sheets were sooo soft. The included breakfast was also pretty good. The inn is close enough to walk to everything.
The room itself was a little small, but it was fine.

Breakfast was awesome and Rachel who cooked it for us was wonderful!
It was too hot! No one’s fault. It was just a warm night.

Pick up from the Train Station and taken to the hotel. All on time. Great historic inn and great location. Excellent restaurant.

First day breakfast was good, the pancakes on the second morning were inedible. Bacon and juice.
Our pick up from the ferry forgot about us but was only a 20 minute delay. But the owner took us back to the ferry terminal in a timely manner.
We ate dinner in the restaurant attached to the hotel ( possibly not the same owner) the waiter made us feel very hurried so he could be out of there by 8:00 pm (when they close)

The location and that my bed was made and towels were replaced every day. The bed was comfortable.
The breakfast was too limited in selection. Basically, it was whatever the cook made that day. Room was on the small side; not much space to put things. I am slightly handicapped and found getting upstairs to my room a bit difficult. Wish I had requested a room on the ground floor if there was such an option.

Juice and coffee were good. We were there at the opening time and the staff were ready.
The pancakes were very weird, it would have been nice to have a choice of hot breakfast, eg eggs how you like them.
4.3
Breakfast Disapointing Really. Couldn't order, take it or leave it, they were cooking pancakes and sausage, if that's not what we wanted to bad, and it was pretty marginal, Pancakes very Well done, sausage pretty bland.
Way to much stuff in the rooms, felt like it would have been pretty easy to forget or leave something behind due to all the extra pillows and stuff they had in there, I realize it was an effort to make it look "Quaint" just really not necessary.
Need better window coverings went to bed in the daylight woke up in the daylight, probably should have stacked windows full of pillows :)

Below average. No gluten free options. Had to ask for someone as wasn't offered an alternative. Scrambled eggs were like rubber both days.
Very noisy room. Window didn't shut so constant hum of refrigerators and in the morning crows outside the window. The second night lots of cold air coming inside and couldn't shut the window properly. No extra blankets so had to pile pillows on top of me. Room never was serviced during my stay. I paid almost $200/night. Manager blamed interest rates for the poor service and facilities. On the plus side he let me check in early and the room itself was nice and comfortable.

very friendly and welcoming Innkeeper, offered an airport pickup (which in the end wasn't necessary as the tiny airport and port are in walking distance), very good restaurant

This is a historic 1900’s building. The floors slope and the rooms are small but very comfortable. You have to share bathrooms so people are moving around in the middle of the night. I would stay there again for sure. Very good vibe, friendly helpful people and good food in the restaurant and for breakfast. The breakfast was blueberry French toast and juice and coffee/ tea. Exceeded my expectations !

The host is very responsive, nice and helpful. Karl upgraded my room without I've asked. Gave my ride from and to airport. Showed me the tour place. Gave me free hot tea everytime I need it. I would definetely stay here if I visit Skagway. Oh, breakfast also delicious.
Nothing.

This place is amazing! Beautiful attention to historic detail. Each room is unique and has a history...I fell in love with the decor. The place is clean, the beds comfy, and it's just plain awesome. I would love to see the garden when it is in season. They provide an amazing and delicious breakfast, which is supposed to be locally sourced in season. I will be back! Don't miss the experience, it is totally worth it! The hosts were super nice and friendly as well.
I loved everything about this place. ❤️

Our hosts were fantastic! We upgraded to a room with a bathroom and they were very accommodating. The showers were communal but very clean and always had clean towels in them. We loved the old building.
They are just recovering from a pandemic like we all are. The restaurant wasn't open each night but we found other places to eat in town. Breakfast was included but my husband doesn't like poached eggs. LOL

Everyone was most welcoming. We met several family members - everybody was most friendly and helpful. Breakfast was yummy and we also had dinner at their restaurant. It was very good. The place is very clean. We were in a room with a super clean shared bathroom.
