We had a nice stay at Clearwater. The owners were fantastic, really helpful and jolly. Personally showed us where everything was. We thought the apartment was right on the beach but it was very close. will definitely come back. Beds were super comfortable.

We booked a 5 night stay here in a 2 bedroom apartment. We were given apartment #2, ground floor. Our first impression was that it looked run down and in need of some updating. It was also incredibly hot and there are only AC units in the bedrooms. The owner, Alwen came by so we could pay for our stay. He kindly offered to drive us to the grocery store which was very helpful. Location of the place is good: 10-15 min walk to Miami Beach and Oisitins Fish Market. When we returned in the evening, it was still so hot in the common area so we didn't want to spend any time in there. We also noticed some cleanliness concerns- shower didn't drain, back of the bathroom door was dirty with brown stains, musty cupboards. One of the bedroom doors didn't open fully, finicky toilet flusher, several missing drawer handles. No hot water to shower as there is a separate switch that needs to be turned on first. It would have gone a long way for the place to have been properly prepared for guests- like airing out/cooling, replacing multiple burnt out bulbs, plugging in bedside lamps. Also, since cooking facilities are provided, it would be good to provide basics like oven mitts. Some of the dishes were not clean which intensified the "ick" factor. We were surprised by the state of our suite, considering the numerous great reviews. My parents stayed in suite 6 and their place was definitely nicer, updated, albeit w/ some of the same inconveniences. We checked out 2 nights early.

There is nothing about which to complain. Everything was well ordered and in place. Alwin saw to it that we lacked nothing. On the 21st our flight arrived at 9.00pm but Alwin was there to greet us and at my request offered us enough tea supplies to last over the 4 days. Although a relatively small place I can boast that Alwin has a big heart ang a most humble disposition. I will certainly return and also recommend with a clear conscience... Nice, basic but comfortable apartments. A stone's throw from the surfing beach and 10 minutes walk from one of the nicest beaches in Barbados (Miami/Enterprise beach). Alwin, the owner, showed me the town and brought me to the supermarket for the first groceries. Great service.

This apartment complex is a real gem. It is clean, spacious affordable and great value for the money. Sandra, the housekeeper, is very professional and helpful. there are laundry facilities, washer and dryer; I used the washer but dried my clothes the old-fashioned way- hung them out on the clothes line. I rented a one-bedroom, and it is huge, with separate living and dining rooms, and a large kitchen and a quiet, scenic, balcony. I highly recommend this complex.

This is a very nice property in a quiet and save area. It's only a few minutes walk from the famous Miami Beach and Oistins. Alwin and his wife were great. We checked out after six days to go to another apartment up in St. Lucy. We ended up not being able to stay there because the owner was in New York and the property seemed abandoned. We return to Clearwater and Alwin allowed us to stay a night free in order to help us with the wasted expense. We ended up staying for more than two weeks and the place is very homey. I would recommend Clearwater, and I would stay there again.

This is my second time at Clearwater. The units are clean and spacious. The owner, Mr. Brown and Sandra are great. Nice neighborhood; safe; beach close by and Oistins is all in walking g distance. Would recommend these apartments for any length of stay ❣

The community was very quiet, clean and upscale. It was really close to the beach. The place was very clean and the host was kind. This place looks much better in person as well. He took us grocery shopping (at no cost to us). I would definitely recommend!

Very clean, relaxed, peaceful apartments and in easy walking distance to Miami Beach. Freights bay even closer. Would definitely stay here again. Serviced every other day which was great. Sky tv, air con, ceiling fans, spacious balcony. Very spacious inside and airy. I was disappointed in the futon however as Alwin said it would be suitable for my daughter age 9 but it definitely wasn’t and my husband had to sleep on it all holiday which was not quite what we had in mind. But for two people this apartment is really lovely. There is a 5 dollar charge for laundry and the kitchen could have been better equipped with utensils and baking trays.

We had a great time and were very happy with everything. Alvin is a great host and he makes you feel just like home. Service is great and the apartment is clean and have everything you need. It's better than the pictures. Wifi connection works perfect, something that hasn't been so good in other places on the island. This is the place to stay if you want to enjoy the surf on Freights Bay. Beautiful Miami beach and the famous Oistins fish fry is also in a short walking distance. Perfect location!

Host very helpful and accommodating. Will drive you to the stores since too far to shop for groceries Fully equipped spacious kitchen and best to prepare your food since restaurants are quite a walk away and at night, i did not feel safe walking alone. Beautiful beach within walking distance. Lovely residential neighborhood. Enjoyed my stay!

Location was good because we were a walk away from Oistin's Fish Fry and Miami/Enterprise Beach. Alwin was really friendly and nice; he offered to drive us to the supermarket to get groceries when we first arrived, told us how to get to places, and gave some good recommendations. The apartment was clean, except for small ants that were around the kitchen counter and there was a musty smell in the apartment. otherwise, cleaning ladies did a good job. Air conditioning worked and water worked except for our last night when there was low water pressure, but Alwin lives in the next house so we were able to contact him immediately about it. Overall it was a good stay for an affordable price!

I went to Barbados for the Food and Rum festival and I had a pleasant stay. We were near Oistins which is were a lot of nightlife is and restaurants.
