Delightful place to stay for a visit to Acadia national Park.

Great place to stay near Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park! Amazing for families and picnics! Breakfast was really good! Blueberry muffins and the blueberry jelly from Maine so delicious with a warm croissant!!! I would live there the rest of my life

Our room was large, very comfortable and quiet. There is no restaurant nearby but you can buy simple but good food in the market until 6 or 7 PM. The continental breakfast was decent. Compared to accommodations elsewhere, the Otter Creek Inn is expensive but by Acadia standards, it is reasonable. We would be happy to return.

Loved this cute inn. And the people were so sweet. Great service! Order the lobster dinner and clam chowder!

Charming and well kept inn with easy access to several Acadia NP trails. Beautiful views of the mountains, and nearby market has a good selection and lobster menu

We had a nice stay at Otter Creek Inn. The room was comfortable enough, the outside area was lovely, and breakfast was good. However, the bathroom could use some maintenance - the door to our bathroom did not close, and the squishy bathtub mat didn't feel very hygienic.

I hate to leave bad reviews for small privately owned buisneses, but this was a tough one. upon arriving at the property we were not greated by a person even though the owners were on premise. I had to call them for check in information, they never came out to say welcome or anything. This was not a huge issue. The place is cute on the outside and the area is beautiful as we knew it would be. Now once inside the first thing we noticed was the huge gap all arounfd the door almost a 1" gap along the bottom of the front door that led directly to the outside. large enough for mice, rats to get in. we contacted the owner for some extra towels to wedge under the door and when the lady arrived with the towels she was very put and not vey happy at all. The ceiling fan was covered with so much dust we were afraid to use it. Beds were terribly uncomfortable and tiny. The shower was about the size of a shower in a small boat or travel trailer. I could not bend over in it. We were really excited about this place until we checked in. This place could be really nice with a little work, maintenance and cleaning, but as is I would not stay here again.

I’m sure not many head up to Bar Harbor and plan on watching a lot of TV but that was all I had a problem with. Had to go into town for Thursday night football, which is a super short drive. Add a smart tv to go along with great Wi-Fi and it’s perfect. Great location at a great price. Thanks!

Door was very difficult to close, instructions for getting in the room were not clear, old sheets wouldn't stay on the bed, shower was nearly impossible to get a usable temperature.

The property was an older hotel but quaint. We enjoyed sitting with the staff at breakfast and had great conversations they also made fresh blueberry and cranberry muffins. Wow!! they were a great staff.
IF YOU NEED A HAIR DRYER FOR A MORNING SHOWER JUST ASK THE NIGHT BEFORE YOU GO TO BED!!

Check-in staff were friendly. The room was clean and tidy, but the blinds need to be replaced or repaired as one would not close completely and the one over the door did not cover the whole opening. I was concerned that someone could look right into the bed.

This property was within 30 mins max of several spots in Acadia National park. It’s quaint and lovely! Having the market next store is very convenient, and Dawn is very kind!! Enjoyed our stay very much!

You had to check in through a market next door, there was no AC as advertised. And it didn’t feel clean. There’s no late check in after 8pm bc there’s no one at the market

Nestled in the heart of Desert Island with great hiking trails and mountain views a short distance away this was a perfect place to stay. My husband and I ran the National Acadia Half Marathon in the morning and it was a short distance from the race location. The staff were very personable and professional and the room was clean. The property was well taken care of and landscaped with attractive flowers and picnic areas.

Excellent location for visiting Acadia National park. There is a nearby short cut road go to the park loop and saved us lots of time driving one way loop. The room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good too. We enjoyed our stay.

This property reminded me of childhood summers in a cottage on Lake Michigan, even to the squeaky screen doors! It is an our of the way spot, not crowded. It is clean and quaint. They have done a great job modernizing on old in while keeping its charm. We even ordered lobster dinners from the adjacent Otter Creek Grocery, which was fairly priced and very tasty. We also ate a complimentary, continental breakfast each morning at the grocery, and they provided wood for a firepit one evening, too.
Our only negative was that, due to its age (and the fact that it's a cottage), walks at thin and we could hear our neighbors. Fortunately, the other guests were older like ourselves and more inclined to go to sleep than to party all night!
We would stay here again on a future trip.

THE worst!!! Window and door air only which seemed dangerous to me. Conditions were horrible and I tried to cancel 4 times. NO ONE answered.

Hotels.com overbooked and we did not have a room. Call first to make sure with the Inn. Fortunately there was a cabin not booked so the owner was so gracious to put us in there at no extra charge. I loved the cabin. Clean, comfortable bed. Small kitchen. Fire ring and free firewood in front of the cabin. Continental breakfast. Ask for her homemade muffins! Wonderful host. We will be staying here next time we visit Acadia. Clam chowder was delicious. Lobster purchase and cooked on site at store. Good prices, less commercialized.

This stay was just what we needed after a week at Universal in Orlando with family. A comfortable room, excellent service, and a great location out of town but still in easy reach of the National Park. We enjoyed the free breakfast outside, taking in the scenery.
