The best light was provided by the one window in the room even when it was dark outside. Worst lighting of any hotel I have ever stayed at. Put us next to the elevator but that would not have mattered as every time the elevator was used it made a horrible very loud thumping noise every time it stated to move and when it stopped that could be heard any place on the floor but right next to it was the worst we did not get any sleep at all. The hallway to get to the room was so small that I literally had to stop and move against the wall if some one else was in the hall way trying to get by. It was so bad that we packed our stuff and left at 03:00 am in the morning it was so bad.

Prime location - Times Square/Theater District. Great stay. Like all NYC hotel rooms, very small rooms. Nevertheless, great value.

The room is small but probably typical in NYC. It's clean, functional, and sufficient. Breakfast was pretty good. It's hearty and the 24-hr. coffee is fantastic. Chanel, the receptionist, was great. She gave us tips, offered help, witty, and genuine. All the staff, other receptionist/cleaners, were very friendly.

Amazing hotel!

This is a great little hotel! Our room was very tidy and came with a mini kitchen where we could cook if we felt like (we didn't) and a great lobby where we had take out many nights of our stay. It's close to many tourist attractions and you can either take the subway or walk. It's really close to Bryant Park which is a wonderful place to enjoy coffee and breakfast if weather permits. Staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. If we go back to New York we will definitely stay here again.

We ended up switching to this hotel after a bad night at a Hilton hotel. We found this hotel to be great especially for the price we had our own patio area attached to room which was awesome. The hotel is also a 3 minute walk to time square which was amazing. Zero complaints about my stay except I wish I would of gone here to begin my trip.

Conveniently located in Times Square. Accessible to public transportation. Basic complimentary breakfast. Excellent staff and service. Chanel was very helpful. Nice rooftop lounge. Loved the kitchenette! Hotel was not spectacular, but it gave us the essentials without the enormous NYC price tag.

Great little hotel in the theater district. We had an outside patio and a little kitchenette, too! Breakfast was good and the staff was very nice

The property was great I’m a pinch, but I had to move rooms. My first room was horrible with the noise. At 7am the cleaning staff was literally yelling down the hall to each other. The maintenance man was talking as loud as he possibly could. Also, his keys made a significant amount of noise. They were kept vacuuming the hall for hours it seemed like. They kept hitting my door over and over again. The fridge wasn’t working maintenance came to look at it and he was very condescending. He kept repeating to well it feels cold to me meanwhile I am holding items that are proving it’s not working. There were kids running down the hall screaming at the top of their lungs. With security two steps away I can’t understand why he did not say anything to them. It was very late, I was moved the next morning but lost my upgrade. This was extremely frustrating although the front desk staff was incredible. The front desk was professional, nice, and proactive, they made my stay pleasant. I was also disappointed in the room size they are very small. Lastly in my new room the dishwasher leaked horribly. The maid came in and started it, when I returned the floor was covered in water. I almost fell overall not sure if I’d stay here again if it’s based on the hotel itself. But the stay makes it worth it.

We were grateful we got an earlier check in but the room we got was very bad. We booked a queen size bed and the bed we got was a lot smaller than a queen. When we tried looking out the window there was something that looked like white paint covering the whole window. So the whole time we were there we could not see out the window. When I went to ask for a different room at the front desk I was told they were sold out but would put me on a list. I never heard anything back. The elevator was also extremely slow. We were very disappointed in our stay as we were really looking forward to it.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights back in July. We had a wonderful stay. Best part of this place, you are about 5 minutes away from Time square. Staff is very nice. Parking not included but just a couple feet away. Choose this place, well worth it!

This is a cute hotel . Definitely more modern than some of those nearby that are way more expensive . The pros : although small room , it has everything . A king s bed , a small seating area ( or work area) , a full kitchen minus oven ! The bathroom is spacious and filled w toiletries ! The room was clean , AC worked just fine .
Area around hotel has changed a lot .. so be vigilant and smart at night . But overall ok .
I needed to get a private space and work from “home” and this was the perfect getaway

This hotel was GREAT! The front desk staff were very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable of the area. The rooms were a good size for NYC, and the hotel itself was very close to the subway. We arrived before our room was ready, but the staff were welcoming and helped store our bags to allow for a bag free day of exploring NYC. I would 100% stay here again on my next visit to NYC.

When checking in, the room was not ready yet: it was about 11:00pm!
So far, the $40 deposit is not refunded either! Why?

Rooms are compact, but comfortable, and this is New York after all. The staff really are your greatest asset! Very friendly and willing to help. Great place to come back to after a long day out sightseeing.

Wonderful stop in the city to see Hamilton! Great central location, super friendly staff, very accommodating!

The location was just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square where you weren't being bogged down with the noise yet was close enough and accessible to many of those large tourist areas. Easily navigable location by foot or by subway (multiple subway stops are within a block of the hotel). The staff was super courteous, friendly, and flexible.

The staff were all exceptionally wonderful and accommodating. I couldn't believe it - truly a gem with a caring crew. The hotel was a great find and our room had a private outdoor patio area -what a treat for NYC. We will definitely be back!!

The room was hot and smelt like food
The heater was broken but refused to fix
The next day it wasn’t fixed and they refused to fix it
They said they’d tell management to reimburse us. We’re still waiting.
Day 3 a staff member was extremely rude and unhelpful
Second week the bathroom door was stuck and broken. No one fixed it for five days.
Very bad staff and management. Disappointed as I’m a bonvoy member. I’ve been told I’d be reimbursed by points but even that hasn’t arrived yet.

Front desk check-in was super fast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great convenient walkable location to Time Square & Broadway shows along with many options for different restaurants, eateries & shopping. The only thing the hotel is missing is a nice rooftop bar/lounge area. That would be awesome to have on site.
