I frequent IHGs and have been a member since 2019. Usually I know if I choose an IHG, the hotel experience will be great. This was an outlier. Staff is great but the hotel and their policies needs work. The first few hours after check in there were roaches on the counter. The notices on the wall indicating they were trying to be pest free should’ve been a warning. You have to take your dirty towels to the front desk to have them exchanged. You have to take your trash to a dumpster on the side of the property. Several of the light fixtures in the room were not properly working. The hotel considered themselves an extended stay which I guess I missed while booking, so there’s no breakfast provided. This experience felt like a motel.

not only were the rooms not clean, it was not a pleasant stay. the front desk employee "Bernadine" was very combative and not made my check in process very difficult.

We booked a king suite (accidentally booked accessible, but that was not a problem). When we got to the room, there was a terrible cigarette odor and a queen-sized bed. We contacted Hotels.com who reached out to the hotel. They stated that since it was an accessible room, a king bed would be considered an “upgrade.” That is not how it was advertised. The tub had rust stains and my husband discovered a dried up bar of soap stuck to the shower curtain. The floor was sticky and the room was damp. When we were leaving, a guest with a dog was getting off of the elevator. The dog peed on the floor, and the guests did not bother to clean it up. The only upside was the on-site security officer. There is another hotel being built next door, so the security officer was monitoring all vehicle activity in and out of the parking lot.

Property's parking lot lighting was geat for my late arrival. Clerk was alert and engaging. Check In was hassle-free.
Improvement/suggestions: Providing a 6in sun blocking strip at the top and bottom of the window will help in keeping the room darker during early morning sunrise without restricting the view from the inside when needed

Rooms smell smoky. Furniture in room dirty. Rooms cleaned every 7x days. Walls thin, you can hear other guest.

We were unable to stay due to the elevator not working. Our room was on the second floor and we had a lot of luggage. Unfortunately the front desk clerk said we ca not get a refund and would have to go through expedia.com.

Only thing I didn't like was they didn't have a pool. The staff was friendly and the coffee was free. My bedroom suite was awesome! Would definitely book again

Went for my sister in law’s wedding and it was a beautiful place to stay very comfortable and family friendly.

Everything in the room was clean. The bed was not a king size as requested. There were no USB ports in room for charging. There was no towel rack for hand towel being used. Had to put wet towel on counter. Had to get a roll of toilet paper as we ran out. The studio couch bed could not be sat on because it would not completely close for sitting. We only stayed one night appreciated a free cup of coffee but prefer breakfast to be included in stay. We were notified that the elevator was out before we arrived but was fixed when we checked in. However elevator was out again when we went to supper. Our room was on the fourth floor. Was fixed when we returned.
The staff was very professional, courteous, and did the best they could with issues that arose. This was my first time to stay at a Candlewood facility. It seemed that the property was being repaired / updated somewhat and that was an ongoing process.

I was originally charged $50 for my dog but the next day when I checked out she front desk lady took off the charge. She said it was to much and said he was to little to mess anything up. I appreciated the kindness very much!

We were exhausted from traveling all day in the rain, Uno was so friendly, helpful and funny. She really made us smile and so glad we chose this place to rest before the second leg of our trip.

I checked in on wednesday september 13 and stayed till september 15 . Upon checkin i was questioned about ny dog whom i stated was an emotional suppprt animal . At checkin the manager was very invasive about my animal he asked so many questuins i got uncomfortable . He charged me a fee for my emotional support animal but he did ask the other about their dogs upon checkin -but they were white i am black. Still have not gotten my depost back and i asked the other pet owners they told me he diddnt ask them any qiestions and no charges .but got on me to explain what is wrong with me .i am going to call a lawyer with ada feel some kind of way.

The hotel overall, is very nice. Its just unfortunate I didn't get what I thought I paid for. Nice people, nice rooms, and nice environment. Just pay attention to the description of their rooms.

I was there for 12 days and they never refresh my room. I requested my room to be refreshed two times in those 12 days and nobody ever came up to do anything the room was very dirty.

The area felt safe although there is hardly anything around to eat other than fast food. No food in the hotel except a room with vending machines and coffee. In the room the bed was very clean and comfortable. Perfect temperature and great pillows. Kitchen has stove, dishwasher, full refrigerator and microwave. Dishes, silverware, pots and pans. TV worked well. However, that being said…no cups at all, not even disposable. No hand soap and not available either. Front desk person said the shipment with supplies didn’t make it.
Lady named Sonya came to the room with us, carpet was filthy and stained and smelly. She saw how run down the room was. The recliner’s fabric was torn and broken as well as the only chair. The legs of the desk were broken thus made the desk unstable. Bathtub was stained, and the sink was broken. No hooks for the towels. No everyday house keeping- once every seven days... I had to clean and disinfect surfaces myself. If you needed fresh towels, you had to go get them yourself. I looked at other rooms but they were not that much better. The check-in person not so knowledgeable and helpful. I had to return in the morning to fix the situation with the manager in regards to charging the correct credit card.
Finally computer and printer in the guest area did not work and we could not print needed documents.
We tried to leave early but they were going to charge us anyway and we were unfamiliar with the area. Not worth the MONEY spent! Will not return.

When we checked in the front desk clerk gave us a room number, and when I opened the door, someone else's things were in the room. He got us a different room, but that was a little unnerving.

Pass on this one! These are usually great hotels to stay in. Always clean,roomy, accommodating, and good customer service. This one is an exception! Don’t stay here. I chose pay at property option and they ran my card hrs before I arrived! This was huge as I usually pay in another method upon arrival. There was Zero water pressure! We could not even wash our hair it was so bad. They were aware of the problem but have not fixed it. All day Saturday the front desk lady was on the phone and had kids running and screaming in the lobby. It was a wreck. Just pass on this place! The only positive here was a man named Lawrence-he was as belly as he could be and very kind.

It was a nice, comfortable room. I usually do not have any complaints with a candlewood however, at this location I felt it could have been cleaner…. We did not notice when we checked in because it was so late but upon moving the recliner a little, there was old food in the floor. The water pressure for the shower was AWFUL and ice maker in refrigerator did not work (yes, I switched to “on”) other than that; it was all good.

The room was falling apart. Tiles were falling off the wall, holes in the wall from previous guests (I assume) boogers on the wall, and the room was always damp. If I was going to stay in the conditions of a motel 6 I would have never considered paying what we paid for that room. Unbelievably disappointed. The front desk ladies were rather rude and unpleasant. The upside, the older gentlemen who was mopping the floors and the security guards were very nice and courteous. Wouldn’t suggest staying here unless you absolutely have to.
