The staff were friendly but it was a bit of challenge as no one on staff spoke English. The rooms were okay - we booked a double bed as two friends traveling but the bathroom was open plan so there was no privacy. The shower flooded each time you showered and often was cold water. If you wanted privacy to get dressed/undressed you had to do this in the shower which a bit of a throwback to hostel vibes (without the cheaper price tag). The housekeeping service was very inconsistent - some days forgetting to give us towels, forgetting water, or some times not coming at all. The cafe down stairs is nice, we worked from there most days. But it produces a lot of noise early in the morning and you get woken up at 6am each morning. The rooms are loud and no windows, so no natural light or fresh air.

Room was very small, and had sewer smell, towels are very thin and wasted, last day toilet was not flushing. They didnt have the toiletries,( shampoo, conditioner) or the bathrobes they say on their hotel description.

The hotel is conveniently located near the city center. The rooms are very roomy and comfortable. The only thing I did not read was that it did not have an elevator which would of came in helpful for our friend who is in her 70’s.

We stayed for 2 days. Day 1 was excellent!
On day 2 it rained and poured both outside and inside our room. I expected assistance from the receptionist, but all he said was, "Oh we had heavy rains". Do NOT stay with them! No offer to refund for day 2, and I gave them the opportunity to fix their wrong doing.

Super close to the city center, beautiful historic building and great staff. The downstairs restaurant is great and has good coffee. Definitely a place to visit and stay at again.

Elizabeth the lady at the desk counter was very helpful and knowledgeable. An asset to the hotel. On the other hand, The young lady at the counter at the check in time, was the opposite . The areas surrounding the hotel were beautiful and well kept.

The hotel is located just two blocks away from "the Zocalo" and walking distance to main tourist attractions, restaurants, and museums. The room was inmaculate, the staff was friendly and helpful.

The property is what I expected for the cost. It's clean. It has the basics, no frills. The rooms are small. The hotel is a little noisy. I was hoping for more help with purchases, such as bus tickets, flight check-in as I couldn't buy them/check-in from my phone but they don't have any computers for guests. The hotel is very close to the Zocalo, which is very nice. They did help me to get a cab, which I appreciate.

The place is central to the history area and zocalo. It is cute and neat, cleaned and it has a small restaurant in the big patio. The place is antique and modern disigned maki g look so cute. The personnel is vey friendly and helpful. I really like the place. I did stay in te Prain room which was my favorite the we book again and stayed on the San Antonio ‘em which was cute but eventhogh had a Mobil air conditioner was hard to cool. But over al. The place is great and very affordable. They don’t have parking but have an arrangement with the convention center and you pay for it. Ask to the staff about parking. I really like it .

Hotel is located on a busy street, lots of noise early in the morning from local workers, consider if given a room with balcony facing the street. The balcony door is not fully sealed. Due to the location it is more susceptible to homeless sleeping and shouting in the night. Location is only a few blocks from the zocalo and overall felt safe. Additionally staff lock the main entrance at 8pm for added safety to guest. Iron only provided upon request. Wi-fi reception was intermittent. Could benefit from a little upkeeping of rooms flooring.

We stayed there two nights. The first night was very noisy and we couldn't sleep.
The split didn't work neither the safety box. We asked them to check it but it didn't happened.
I noticed all the zippers in my luggage and backpack open, nevertheless nothing was missing.
The Cafe Aguirre is a great place for breakfast and dinner. It is on the first floor of the hotel. The prices are very reasonable.

Greeted courteous and had a cafe restaurant inside the hotel facility. Wish they placed more toilet paper and towels but very clean, hotel had facility to store clothes small dresser and safety lock. Spacious rooms. Also had chairs to sit will likely stay again. Close to everything and walkable and area is safe, walkable distance to Parian, zocalo, circle k around the block and many other restaurants around to eat. Thank for your attention.

The best part of this hotel were its king-sized bed and the restaurant through the lobby. I really wanted to like this hotel, but ... I felt unsafe!!
The scary part was that the door had a 'digital lock' w/out any actual deadbolt lock or chain latch. We couldn't test the door to see if it locked because it obviously would open from the inside.
One night I got so paranoid as we arrived later than usual, there was a different guy in the reception area who opened the main door for us (there is only one person manning the front door/entire hotel during the night ... or day, for that matter). W/out an inside lock to our room, I kept hearing noises and imagining someone entering our room as we slept. We had to place the portable AC, a chair, and our luggage against the door to feel somewhat safer.
The pictures look better than what the hotel actually felt like. Visible wear and tear were noticeable on the bathroom cabinets, there was a weirdly-placed tub right in the bedroom/outside the bathroom area, and the toilet had an ill-fitting semi-frosted glass door with a wide slit on the sides which made it uncomfortable to do your business in private.
It's about 4-5 blocks from the central main square, which you have to walk through the solitary dark streets to get back to the hotel at night.
There isn't an elevator so you have to go up about 25 steps to the second floor. Albeit, there is a nice view down to the cafe. The king-sized bed was firm and comfortable, with clean sheets.

Ignore the rave reviews - the others are more accurate (I repeatedly cursed those who so recklessly overrated this hotel during our stay). Photos are deceiving; the hotel is rougher around the edges than it looks. There was no designated parking when we pulled up to check in, and only one person on reception. It's not the chic, boutique hotel it appears online. Also, although we received information after booking that parking was available on-site for $90 MXN, this was not the case - it's four blocks away, and they tried to charge us $120. Lacking in the details - for example, towels were old, thin, and worn. Rooms without windows can seem grim. Ours had an interior window that turned out to be an irritation when the staff repeatedly turned the nearby light on. That said, the staff were for the most part friendly and accommodating, and it was relatively inexpensive - although for a few dollars more, you can do MUCH better, and should. We will next time.

Upon arrival, the hotel informed me they had double booked our room and had already rented it for the night so we were turned away.

It was a nice and quite place to stay very close to everything on the historic center of Puebla. The coffe place inside the hotel serves good tasting food at a good price.

Nice location close to Zócalo. Reserved a two-bed room and got a double two room unit which was a bit quirky. Front desk staff was helpful and morning breakfast was decent value.
