Beautiful resort! We upgraded to the Level Beach Side room with butler service! Yamel was AWESOME!! The upgrade was worth it and Yamel took care of all our needs from dinner reservations to decorating our room for our bday celebration. We would definitely go back. Only gave 4 stars because the resort has personnel walking around trying to get you to do a timeshare/membership tour. We just wanted to relax so this was a little annoying. The food was also middle of the road. I ate an omelette everyday for breakfast and the tempiyaki station was the best! Overall we enjoyed ourselves!

The staff were incredible definitely left a stamp on me and I will be coming back again! Had an amazing experience from the beginning to end of my visit. Bartenders by the pool Radalis & Maribel will definitely take care of you! Recommend 10/10 my first time in Punta Cana

The buffet restaurant was rather disappointing, same cut of meat every single night (picanha), cold dishes were not cold, like the red wine, room temperature (30 celsius-90 farengheit). Fish like grouper (mero) is not filet but cut transversally, great for fighting bones all night long. There was a restaurant that was good, Mar de Sal, recommended. In it teo servers were hreat, Meibi and Moises, best experience when it came to food. Aquatic sports like paddle boarding, kayaking and katamaran have always been included inthese resorts, however the Catamaran had a $50 training fee even though Ive been doing it for decades, first time this happens. Overall the hotel was nice, but food was dissatisfying.

This was my 11th time to Dominican Republic and FIRST time at Melia. If I knew how great this place was before I would have been here a long time ago. I know that there are many all-inclusives but this was by far the BEST. Service was top-notch even before my arrival. From emails asking if I needed anything like transportation, recommendations and ensuring there would be no problem with my partner arriving (some places have been slightly rude/offensive to a Dominican visiting resorts in the past) and this was definitely NOT the case this time. We felt welcome and VERY catered to through out the entire trip. There was entertainment, a beautiful gift shop, the spa and not to mention GREAT food to try at every corner. The beach was PRESTINE and always cleaned every morning. I cannot stop talking to my friends and family about how great it was here and I already want to go back so bad. This place was really paradise. I tipped when I received above and beyond service and didnt feel pressured if I didnt. The rooms were beautiful, the AC was nice and COLD during the summer and the rooms were immaculately clean. Any service that was offered I made sure to try and was never disappointed. I even cancelled my excursion because the resort literally had everything I could need or want. The price was also very good and I have paid more money for a less enjoyable experience. If there was anyplace that I have been to that was my favorite in ALL of the Dominican THIS WAS IT. If youre reading

Everything was just great. When we arrived, we were met by very polite and wonderful staff, everything was explained, told, showed the territory. Our room was clean, the kitchen is simply unsurpassed. Yoga and dancing were constantly held on the territory. My husband and I enjoyed the rest.

TRANSPORTATION WAS REALLY BAD SINCE EVERY VILLA WAS FAR AWAY FROM THE LOBBY MY PHONE IN MY ROOM WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY AND WAS NOT ABLE TO ORDER ROOM SERVICE FOR 2 DAYS SINCE THEY TOOK 2 DAYS TO GET IT FIXED, BUT OTHER THAN STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND IS PERFECT FOR HAVING THAT PIECE OF MIND.

Overall I'm giving it 5 stars for the effort to go above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. However I'd like to suggest a few improvements: 1. Shuttle schedule: this property is huge and not easily walkable from a room to the beach and restaurant could take 15 mins on a scortching heat, there is a shuttle that supposedly going every 12-15 mins, in reality you can wait up to 30 mins on a sun; 2. The property has a nice territory with lots of ponds, however some of them haven't been cleaned for a while and start to smell 3. Water on the beach is not clean and not blue, it is brown and full of sea weed, I understand that this is a sea weed season (july), however other properties very close by had the clearest blue water, so if they could clean it, this property can too

Overall everyone you encounter is extremely friendly and always do their best to ensure you are having a nice stay. The food was good and the staff at Quimera Restaurant and Roof top bar are top notch! The grounds are beautiful, with lots of Flora and Fauna including the beautiful Hispaniola Parrots and Parakeets which you can see in the early morning and evening in the Coconut Trees. The beach area on the other hand has been affected both by Sargassum and algae which has tainted the grass beds under the water to a darker color. This has had an effect on the overall color of the water. But if you walk a few minutes south, the water is pristine and between 12-5 a gorgeous emerald Green. I gave three stars despite this being one of my favorite resorts in Punta Cana. I feel that they still need some refinement, specifically on guest arrival and departure. Getting around can be a challenge due to the size of the property and depending on the golf carts is extremely inconsistent. Amenities are also spotty. I didn’t like that you cannot get a cold Presidente at the bar anymore. Skimping out on the beer isn’t good. Though they do give you 2 in the room mini bar. The LEVEL lounge used to have self serve top shelf bar available as well as later hours. This time around the bar is assisted and closes around 10! The main lobby needs some serious ventilation, despite its open air concept, the heat radiates through the stones at night making it very uncomfortable.

Checkin experience was terrible. I received my room after waiting 4 hours and when I arrived there, it was still bring cleaned. The pool needs to be repainted and it's dirty at the bottom. Was very disappointed with the food and the drinks.

Perfect for those seeking a relax vacation. If I was in charge of maintaning gardening/vegation/exterior I would have it sharp looking although I know in the tropics is challenging. I only saw one person maintaining landscaping.

The A/C in the room was too noisy, and the temperature was always above 23.5; in my opinion the room needed an upgrade especially the air conditioning machine, on the other hand the staff are very friendly and professional, the food was acceptable, the best part was the variety of fresh fruit.
