Fabulous hotel in gorgeous surroundings. Attention to every detail architecturally, and quite eco friendly. Breakfast was wonderful with good selection. Perhaps because we went in low season, food service asides from buffet breakfast was quite slow, but the beautiful ambience makes up for it

This is probably the most amazing hotel I have ever stayed at. Truly a stunning spot, and the architecture and decor are unbelievable, in it's reflection of the Vietnamese culture, history, and location.

This hotel is beautiful. The breakfast is excellent. There is little to do except relax. It is far from any town, and the "village" is a few tourist shops.

Our stay at Legacy was fantastic. We were there early September and almost had the place to ourselves.
The food was excellent, the staff were lovely and an overall wonderful experience.
I’m sure we’ll be back at some point.

A wonderful escape from the smog and traffic chaos of Hanoi. Set in a beautiful mountain location, it is 2 1/2 hours drive from the city and the airport, but it’s worth the trip. The hotel is beautifully fitted out. The restaurant food is very high-quality but if you want an alternative you can visit the restaurant in the adjacent ‘village’ (purpose-built) for more traditional Vietnamese food.

The best family trip ever -- the hotel is beautiful and everywhere you go it's gorgeous. Staff are so nice and friendly to kids, they also got great programs for young children at the village. Totally recommend cable car/hiking trail.

PROS: - What an absolute stunning property!!! Our room was the most comfortable room we've stayed in and that bed was perfect for dreaming! We used our amazing bathtub every day and soaked in glee. - The food was also great in the restaurant with great service at dining. - The gym was superb and although we didn't swim the pool looked very inviting. - We also used the Wellness Center for the sauna and massage and service was also great there.CONS: - The starved horses were soooooo upsetting! I am actually quite appalled to see that the horses they have for people to ride are starving with all their ribs visible and even their hip bones protruding. I really hope this is looked into immediately! - Communication was a bit of struggle when calling from the room. We had to call four times to get water delivered to our room, and we never received the tea we requested. I also called asking about the cable car twice and both times told they would call me back, but they did not call back. However, to solve this I always went to the front desk directly to request things and then they were done. The tour desk was also helpful in person...so don't call and go in person to ensure communication is effective.

Hotel itself is beautiful and room condition was very good and spacious.
Reception service was good and friendly.
But restaurant needs big change of service.
Staffs were very friendly but that doesn't cover disappointment of waiting over 30 mins for 1 dish and forgetting order.
Overall, very good hotel and stay.

the hotel serves only a bottle of compliment water per a person a day in a room, it's not enough without accessible shops nearby the hotel.

Amazing architecture, beautiful design. This hotel is a true hidden gem in North Vietnam. I’ve never experienced that perfectly built hotel or resort before I visit here, even I traveled all over the world and visited so many 5 star hotels. Stunning. They’ve cared even trash bins’ desing, and it makes guests feel like we are in a palace in an oriental dynasty.
However the customer services including front desk needed to be improved. Some of managers were not so professional and didn’t know what the necessary service for guests is. I think it’s new hotel, and it just need some time to be perfect. Except the unskillful staffs, everything was good. Not a big deal.
I really hope many people visit the Legacy Yen tu so that this hotel can be run long long time attracting travelers in Vietnam. It is ounstandingly beautiful and nice hotel.

The hotel service was very disappointing. We booked 2 rooms and paid, but once we arrived we found out the staff had double booked the room so we had no where to stay and they charged us for the room anyway. Would not recommend. Can’t trust. 这间酒店非常令人失望,绝对不推荐。他们一个房间卖出两次,我们搭国际长途过来出差,来之前已经付过钱,但到达后突然被告知没有房间。但钱也不退。

Amazing location with amazing architecture. An amazing 5star resort in the mountains of Vietnam away from the fast paced city life. Great hotel to relax and reflect.

The room facilities, the architecture of the whole area is excellent but the food is not up to that level. The food was too boring and made people fed up if stay longer than two nights.
