Not a good hotel

Was nice and safe area. Short walking to night life. Beautiful beach.

Altough uts vert close to the clubs, the hotel it slef is very boring. They don't have any activities or even music in the pool.
Definitely a family hotel but even then i wouldnt take my kids there.

Everything was fine
3.4
Excellent property, close to restaurants, gift shops and nightclubs in a walkable area. You can find everything inside the hotel if you want to stay inside. Very good food options inside the hotel. Pool activities and easy access to the beach with chairs and tables are available on a first come service.
3.4
Everything was good, except for food options for vegetarians (who do not eat meat, eggs, or seafood). The only options for them were sometimes white rice, salad, fruit, and beans only, while others had a variety of food options available

My son really enjoyed his stay here with his girlfriend. The location is great! And they were surprised with a tequila bottle in their room waiting for their arrival!

Nice location great service great environment clean facility. Good food are strongly recommended to anyone travel to Mexico, Cancun to go to Crystal Hotel.

I cannot say enough great things about this resort. Outstanding staff, amenities, views, food, and rooms. I have to personally acknowledge and thank the Chief Concierge. There was another man there that was a great help to me as well and I’m so sorry I can’t remember the name right now, but if the Chief Concierge is asked who I’m referring to he would know. I owe them every gratitude and favor. This fine establishment deserves nothing but praise.

The ocean was beautiful.
The facilities were a little old.
Service was very good.
3.4
Everything was great other than the condition of the rooms. Me and family reserved 4 rooms and out of the fours rooms 3 were in poor condition. Leaking ceilings to AC not working. Elevators are very slow. The staff is very friendly and accommodate in every way possible. The hotel is near the beautiful beach and walking distance to the Hotela Zone where you find good dinning and nice places to party and have drinks. The buffet in the Hotle is as pretty good as well.
If you don’t mind and older condition of a hotel then this might be for you.
3.4
Great location. Food could be better. Better explanation when arriving at hotel about the all inclusive. Tour of the hotel.

Always stay here and food is ok but live it because it’s near down the strip

This was the worst vacation experience I have ever had. We paid to get a balcony upgrade they placed us in tower b which was their oldest beat down tower. We did not know this at the time. The room was hot and the bed was hard. We could not sleep the first night but decided to give it one more chance but the next night the heat was unbearable. We requested to be moved to a room that has air conditioning. They moved us but it took them an entire day to find us a room so we had to walk around the hotel with all our belongings. They told us that the first building was old and that their air conditioning wasn’t working in the building properly. Their dining options were very limited the buffet closed at 10pm and so did their two restaurants. They didn’t offer any shows or any activities to do. The pool closed at 9 and the bar at 10:45pm. Not to mention the mixed drinks all tasted really bad. I will never return here again.

We only stayed one night and checked out as I was already sick of my stomach. The food was terrible, very old, plates and cups very dirty of grease. The pool very greasy, I slipped and fell quite bad as soon as I took my first step in the water. The rooms have mould even tho we had superior ocean view. The room service charges for delivery, the food and drinks plus tips, even if we had all inclusive. The drinks are also really bad, the beer was burned and cooled and served. Terrible experience! I am waiting for my refund as we couldn’t stay there any longer than 1 night. Rafael the manager tried to make it better but that place needs to be shut down! I would suggest hotels.com takes it of its list! I traveled a lot and I’ve never seen anything like this!

The property was in poor conditions. Full of mold in the rooms and around the facility. Air conditioner not working properly.

The food and the drinks at this resort were GREAT! The cleaning staff pretty much stayed on top of their jobs even with the weather we had. However the service staff and management SUCKED! I had a problem where my reservation was scheduled earlier than I originally booked and they weren't accommodating at all! But the minute I started spending money their whole attitude changed. Their English even improved. It took hours and hours to get replacement water bottles for our room. They are all inclusive... sort of. The bottom shelf liquor is free top shelf isnt, they have room service but charge a 5 dollar card only delivery fee and there was very little entertainment unless the ocean was your friend and after 9pm it was literally bedtime around the resort. It was ok for something to do last minute or you just want to take your kids somewhere. Other than that... Pass!

The hotel is in a great area but the hotel was terribel, the rooms were terrible due to problems with the a/c and the worst part was that there was mold all over the building, I changed rooms 3 times and all had mold on the walls and bed sheets, I got sick from breathing the smell of mold. I could last another day so I had to leave and book at another hotel

The Server Eatefani was awesome.
Dari in the bar was excellent.

To noise we couldnt sleep all night long teenegers running all night in hallway and yelling, rooms out dated ,check in take to long, our room was not ready when we came around 4pm
Finely around 7pm we got a room but not what i reserved they give us a room with ac not working at all ,and they could not fix it ,will never go back to krystal hotel
3.4
Magical, not your traditional hotel, close to the market, cathedral, and many restaurant options around. Definitely going back!
3.4
Staff were not honest and initially gave us a horrible noisy room claiming it to be a special room. it took a lot of complaining to finally switch the room. Learn to treat your clients with respect.
3.4
Everything was good
3.4
I stayed from June 28th until July 2nd 2024.
Old building, the rooms need a lot of renovations.
Excellent location if you’re looking for night fun.
Poor quality of food and drinks unless you pay for the Premium menu which is not part of the “All inclusive package”
3.4
Check in was very slow. Pillows were rock hard and very uncomfortable. Air conditioning in room was too cold and staff were not able to assist in adjusting to a more comfortable temperature.
3.4
It rained one day and water leaked in the room

Terrible, water getting inside the room, a lots of wind noise in our room, elevators not working at the capacity. Water leaking everywhere. People who work there, can’t get roofers to fix up the leaking on the roof. Barely cleaning the floors ( ONLY PLACING TOWELS WERE THE LEAKING IS ) plus we needed to get a new roof from the doors not closing properly because the wind was making noise from it and water coming in the room. There is one more problem with this hotel. One elevator works but is being healed by a thread because every time we try to go down to the main floor, we are greeted be every single other floor before us reaching the main floor. Don’t go to this hotel is you are trying to have no problem. The people who clean there clean every three days for us but it was never really “ clean “ because they reused the bedsheets and also left lots of grime in between the sheets. Here is another one for you my sister in law had a room at the same place, they went with us, my sister in law called me and told me that there was no water running in the sink when she tried to use it. I went to check it for myself and to my surprise there was no water. We and my sister in law called the front desk, they didn’t answer for the first two times but the third time they answered and they said that is was under maintenance for the next three hours and said that they started maintenance 2 hours ago, truly the worst that I have ever had in my entire life. So over all I give it a 2/10

Had a great time at the Krystal Cancun in spite of poor weather.
Pros: food was delicious, close proximity to clubs and bars, friendly staff, beach access
Cons: wished food in buffet involved more traditional mexican options, Air Condition at times felt like it wasnt fully cooling certain areas including my room (eventually you get used to it), not too many entertainment options within resort making Rainy Days one dimensional, during my stay the Elevator situation was one that resulted in me taking 7 flights of stairs to avoid lengthy wait times or crowded trips.
Overall for a Resort built in the 80's & Renovated in 2008 my stay was adequate enough to feel like I genuinely had a great experience. But at times it was obvious that I was at a resort which hadn't been Modernized in 15 years.
3.4
The customer service from staff was horrible
3.4
The property was very old and needs a lot of repairs. Rooms are very humid and very moldy. Everything feels so moist when entering and leaving the room. Room conditions are very bad and need so many repairs.
