Very quaint hotel…great staff. Great location

Small boutique motel I think probably less than 12 rooms very clean very friendly staff, but it is a small hotel. Bed was extremely comfortable the room was extremely clean but definitely the worst part of the stay was that the hot water in the shower was practically nothing. We found it strange because the hot water coming from the sink was very hot. If we were ever going back to the area we would definitely give it a stay again but we would check the hot water in the shower first. I don't know if this is a reoccurring problem or if it was just isolated that one day.

Hotel Casa Blanca is as many reviews shared, great location to everything, great staff and price. However the breakfast was barely coffee and dry cereal and like many guests there we looked to other outside restaurants for breakfast. The cold water did not work in my room so showers were extremely hot and needed to be quick or burn. I wanted to change reservation and that wasn’t possible as other reviews have stated so once you book sorry if things change.

Everything was fine. The food and staff were lovely.
Sadly the shower was not very clean. And the rooftop was really dirty, loungers fell apart, chairs were rusty/broken.

Authentic older Mexican property. Staff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel is older but has a sweet charm to it. It takes a long time to get hot water so just wait,..it will show up. Beds are comfortable and there is a fan & heater in the closet depending on what you might need to be comfortable. Our room had a fridge. They have a humble little breakfast available and hot coffee in the morning. It does the trick. The location is perfect, 2 blocks from the Malacon.

Every thing was perfect, our room was very nice and the service was very good. Looking forward to a future stay.

A friend stayed there before the lockdown and recommended Hotel Casa Blanca in Ajijic.
The staff was extremely nice and tried to be very helpful. However, I was extremely disappointed with the “hotel” and I checked out two days earlier than expected. The manager requested full payment upon my arrival. I am accustomed to hotels accepting payment at the end of the stay. Now, I see why payment was requested upfront.
The manager, though very nice and very personable, did not take the major credit card I made the reservation with, and only accepted Visa, Mastercard, or cash.
I requested a refund for the two nights I did not stay and that request wasn’t honored.
I would like Expedia to facilitate a complete refund for the following reasons.
1. There was a dead bug in my bedding and when I showed it to the manager, he said they would change the sheets and that maybe the last person left it there. The room should have been cleaned thoroughly before I arrived.
2. The closet was very musty and I had to air it out and use an essential oil to mitigate the smell before I could hang my clothing in it.
3. I had to request a face cloth, the towels were hard and extremely inexpensive ones, there were no tissues in the room, and when I requested some I was told that they don’t supply tissues.
4. Some of the furniture needed to be dusted.
5. The blanket was EXTREMELY old and worn, because it had pilling all over it.
6. There was a body odor of someone on one of the pillows.

This is a charming little boutique hotel situated in the heart of old town part of Ajijic. We were warmly received by the staff, and they were very helpful in responding to my various questions. The room was pleasant and clean. We were able to relax and feel at home.

Casa Blanca was perfect for our stay. It is centrally located in the heart of town. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable with everything you need for a nice low key stay. Having breakfast offered each more was a nice perk as well.

I love the location. Each room is different and nicely decorated.
The continental breakfast is nice. The coffee a little weak.
Nice patio to sit outside.

I was very pleased with the location…everything in town within walking distance. Across from the resource center and many many shops and eateries. Felt safe as a solo traveler. The property is a bit dated but charming. The staff (Brenda/Flor are an absolute treasure!)…

The place was adorable, staff was accommodating. Only problem we encountered was a storm that blew water water through our windows and we needed to go ask for more towels to keep the room from flooding. The evening staff helped us as many ch as she could, super sweet lady. ❤️

Such a cute little boutique hotel with a wonderful courtyard where we spent time with family laughing, just hanging out and having a great time. It’s perfectly located in between the pier and La Plaza. Would definitely return.

Very over priced. Bar not open and breakfast not available until 9;15 am.

It was a good location, but the room had some issues that the staff came up and addressed. We were the only ones in the hotel and another couple checked in past midnight in the room right next to ours. Not sure why they couldn’t of put them in another room not so close. All the doors are metal so we didn’t get a lot of sleep. Also the continental breakfast that runs from 9 AM to 11 AM stops after they think you’re done eating. So if you finish at 9:30 and want to go down and grab another cup of coffee at 10:30 everything is closed up! They also lock the front door at 9 PM, so if you are out past then you have to open the front door yourself. It is a tricky lock and hard to open in the dark.

This hotel is PERFECT! We loved it. It's so charming and small and perfectly located - a block to the main street, yet off a quiet side street. The breakfast was huge and delicious. Staff super helpful (our ride to the airport never showed and Pamela quickly arranged a taxi), the beds are super comfy, the patios filled with flowers and vines. Just the perfect place to stay in Ajijic. Will return!

The location in the middle of the old town and across the street from the Lake Chapala Society compound is excellent. It has a very Moroccan feel, just as the name might imply.

Quaint little hotel right in the middle of the old part of Ajijic. Close to the lake and all of the activities in Ajijic. Narrow difficult streets, but they go with the territory.
