The staff were not present at the front desk when I walked in. Apparently, I was supposed to ring the bell but since I don’t understand Japanese- I waited for 2 minutes and end up asking the cleaning lady for help. Another bad point was that the bathroom door would not close and one of the light bulb in the middle wouldn’t turn off. The clothes set for me were wrinkled-looked used and old. There was no water in the room for me as well. I could also hear the noise of the bathroom shaking every time I turn on the water. I could also hear the room next door.

I had a minor stroke on the airplane on the way to Japan. I went into the hospital on 12/18 and am in the process of being discharged (12/25). I tried to call the hotel to see if I could cancel my reservation before the date I was supposed to check-in, but was told that they didn't have anyone with my name or reservation number. I did not have the energy to be able to figure out what was going on. So, I just had to forego the trip and lose the money. This is why I am giving an overall of 1 star.

The staff were quite nice and helpful. Their English was very good. The room was small but its expected for Japan so that didn't bother me however I found a used mask inside the desk and a pair of dried up colored contacts on the floor. Besides for that the bathroom seemed clean.

It was a very nice hotel.
I had a hard time understanding how to use the air purifier.
The machine instructed me to change the water, and I did, but I did not understand the effect.
I wish they would at least provide a simple manual so that I could understand it when I held up the QR code.

Did not feel comfortable using the shower here. The root of the bathroom was spotted with black mold. King of a waste of a booking.

Property seems dated. Lobby is super small. Room smelled a little. Tiny shower which shares the same outlet with the water faucet. Area was a bit loud at night.

Staff was very courteous and friendly. Hotel is very convenient to rail station and shopping choices. Lots of food places around. Only a few train rides from just about anywhere in Tokyo. 5,000 yen lasted us almost a week using trains/buses daily. Rooms aren’t large but it is as advertised good for a couple but too small for more comfortably. Would stay again if I go back over.

The hotel room was small compared to American hotel rooms, but its Japan, you knew what you were getting yourself into. It is however oddly just enough space fpr one person, the train station is a 5 minute walk, theres a Family Mart and 7-11 down the street with dining options everywhere. Overall a good choice if you need somewhere to stay and don't need a lot of space

cheap and ok for the price. it would be better if they had a self service kiosk to checking in, instead of having to do that in the counter. It takes a lot of time
