Small but clean room. Towels were top notch as another guest had commented. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and exceeded expectations. Neighborhood felt safe enough walking back at night. Very short walk to the subway station (5-7 minutes) and short train ride to Time Square/touristy areas in Manhattan. The street noises may be bothersome but it did not bother me personally. Would stay again!

Such a funny hotel that upon arrival you will notice the industrial feel of the neighborhood but do not be concerned! There is so much to like about the hotel especially the value for money! The staff were very nice and our room was basic but very clean; the beds were firm and comfortable, WiFi was excellent, good TV options and a fridge & microwave. The bathroom was really good but the towels were like I was at a five star hotel!! The free breakfast was awesome with a really wide range of options from eggs, sausages, cereals, fruit, cold cuts & cheeses, bagels, etc. The limited choice of bars and restaurants maybe an issue for sone but we found a few decent places. I would 100% stay here again!

Very good hotel if you're planning to stay in NYC area especially because it's right next to the subway station and it's very convenient to get to Manhattan. Room itself was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful, check-in check-out process was also convenient. Overall, definitely recommend this place!

Solid. Room clean and comfortable. Eclectic (spaghetti and meatballs), plentiful and expansive enough dining all breakfast. Good brewed coffee and tea and fresh fruit. Our room 102 was subject to some entrance noise, but the HVAC was strong and drained out the noise and kept us cool on a hot and humid day and night. Close to subway and short trip to midtown. Recommend.

The air conditioning barely blew out cold air and took a long time to cool down the room. Other than that the place was really nice. Staff were extremely friendly. Enjoyed my stay.

Hotel and rooms were spotless clean. The Café was quite cold compared to the rest of the hotel.

The receptionist was on the phone not talking for 10 minutes before helping us. She wanted to speak to my husband who made the reservation but was not staying. I called the hotel prior to check in and told there was parking. I had to park on the street which was sketchy. The receptionist told me there wasn’t parking when we arrived. The bed was hard as a rock. The noise in the hallway was loud and doors were slamming all morning.

I love everything about LIC Plaza, from the location across the street from my office and the price, to the clean, large rooms, the kind staff and THE VIEWS of Manhattan… but if I stay longer than 1 night… I’m a complete wreck. Why? The beds are solid as concrete and the overstuffed pillows look pretty on the bed, but aren’t usable by a human. I’ve taken my own pillow which helped, but my last stay of 4 nights sleeping on the HARD bed was just too much. I can’t do it again. Also, last month (Feb) I had recommended the hotel to my manager and her husband. That went sideways when someone below their room or next door was smoking in their non-smoking room… and my manager’s room smelled like an ash tray. When they brought it to the attention of management, they were told there was nothing that could be done. That really saddened me. I’ll be staying at the Hilton around the corner this week. Probably not a great view, but comfort and a smoke free environment are just too important.

We spent 3 days here and had no complaints. They have a good breakfast to start your day as a tourist and while there is no lounge, you can hang out in the dining room if one partner is resting.

Clean and Comfortable. Easy check-in/out. Sat TV not working but technician quickly fixed it. A . Unaffiliated parking garage was less than a block away. Very convenient. Would be great if the hotel made arrangements with nearby parking garage.

I normally don't leave bad review for anything, but this time I have to write an honest review. If you would like a quiet night sleep, then this hotel isn't a good choice.
Upon checking in, I was assigned to room #105, which is located on the first floor adjacent to the lobby (the only room on the first floor). Unfortunately, my experience was marred by a persistent and disruptive noise issue throughout the night. We understand the late people check in, and kept quiet till 12:40am.
The primary source of the disturbance was one of your employees who engaged in very loud conversations in the lobby area.
Despite my attempts to address the matter with the employee directly, the noise persisted, we were unable to get a good night's sleep, and my son didn't play well the next day. (We were in a soccer tournament). The lack of sound insulation or any apparent efforts to mitigate the noise made the situation particularly frustrating.

Nice location and place looks pretty good to rest and enjoy the city

I've stayed here before. It is very super clean and comfortable. Friendly staff at reception, Quiet location yet very close to two good stations, good for the E train and the No 7 subway train. The breakfasts were good, although cereals poor. (I brought my own). I liked the fact you could make a cup of tea any time. I would definitely recommend this place and intend to stay here again.

I travelled with my mom and 11 year old. The convinience of being so close to the subway was awesome. Literally 20 minutes and your in the city. The rooms were small but clean. The breakfast was mediocre but it was ok. Would definitely stay here again.

We highly recommend LIC Plaza hotel for your stay in NYC. Although the location is not in Manhattan, the hotel has many transportation options nearby to be in city centre in a few minutes. The price is pretty good comparing with other options and a simple breakfast is included. Rooms are fully equipped with mircrowave, fridge, iron&board, etc… In case you need a laundry service, you can use a good shop two streets away from the hotel.
Here you have some improvements to consider just to give more quality with no big effort:
- You can let little bottles of water as a welcome pack in the room. In our case, we arrived at 11pm and we were appreciated them.
- Breakfast salon is not supporting all the guest at the same hour, that’s the reason why scheduling hours for all the guests will avoid the little queues at some morning hours.

We spent a night here at the LIC Plaza Hotel and will definitely be back. The hotel is located in such a convenient area; I literally booked my birthday dinner around the corner from the hotel without even knowing and it was so nice to not have to move our car! The hotel is kept really clean which is so important to us and the staff members were all so kind and helpful. I have zero complaints. I loved our stay!

Went to New York for marathon run. This hotel is convenient for subways to Manhattan and plenty of restaurant around. Breakfast is nice.

Very convenient to public transportation. Easy to get to from LaGardia and to get yo Manhattan by a couple of lines.
4.5
Very clean and well maintained. Nice shower, towels and bath. Rooms were very small, not enough surface to lay open two carryons. Windows facing major road and train track, super loud and cars honking from early am. Room doors and stair doors slammed loudly, so a lot of banging noise. Neighborhood has nothing to offer a tourist except the convenience of close subway access.
4.5
Great service and helpful and friendly staff! The only issue is the cafeteria would get super crowded and we would have to eat standing, which was annoying, but not super major, especially since the food was very good!

This hotel is very clean. We enjoyed our stay.
