Very safe, quiet and clean. Excellent place for a single woman traveler. I loved the large room I received. It was equipped with a microwave and refrigerator that I promptly used. HUGE shower with loads of hot water, great air conditioning/ heater, comfortable bed.But the best part was parking right outside your room which made it so easy to unload and reload luggage etc. Fantastic price also.

Problem with 1st assigned room being ready. Staff caught the problem imediately and assigned another room. Room does need updating. Staff did give a good recommendation for a meal that was in walking distance.

Hotel room was decent for the price, but there were a bunch of random people on phones just sitting in parking spaces and near my car all night. They looked maybe like family members of the owner. It was really uncomfortable. Hotel is really nothing special, just a waystation.

Minimum amenities in the room. Toilet and restroom were very small. Bed sheets had some marks. Condition was average although the price seemed higher; could be because of holiday season. The stuff are friendly.

Was in such a terrible area, splatter stains on the ceiling, the room smelled like a chemical fire, it was terrible. decided to leave early after my friend accidentally locked me out of the room and the staff wouldn’t help me get in, also when I knocked on the door they came out and yelled at me that the police would be called if I didn’t leave because they had no more vacancies and since I couldn’t get into my room i was apparently trespassing. (ALSO my phone was dead and all of my things were in the room). I’d definitely recommend spending the extra money to go somewhere even slightly nicer.

This was a stressful experience and it didn't need to be. The room had a spider on the bed and a gross scent of smoke. Several of the owner/managers stare agressively at guests and dont say please and thank you. Simple things will improve this business.

The property was nice and easy to find. The owner was helpful, welcoming, and optimistic about our arrival since I competed at the Ventura Half Marathon. If you guys want a simple place to stay while you're out here, I'd recommend giving this place a shot.

The lady in the office was rude for no reason, just out rite nasty. The room was bare bones but that's what I expected for 85 bucks. When i left my room at with an hour before checkout she turned my room card off and I had to get her each time I wanted to get back in, rediculas

Good price and convenient location. My boyfriend and I were a little disappointed with minor details. We noticed there was a coffee maker in the room which we tried using in the morning but there was no filter. Also, the single tiny bar of soap that is provided completely dried out our skin and no lotion was provided. Normally it’s not a big deal to us because we usually bring our own toiletries but this was a last minute stay and we did not get a chance to pack like we normally do. It would’ve been nice to have a little travel size lotion or at least have a different kind of soap that didn’t leave us completely dry. Another detail worth knowing is you will only get one key to your room even if there are two people staying. They will ask for a $20 deposit (cash only) when you check in which we were not aware of. Luckily we had a twenty on us. They did state they would return it when we return the key at check out, which they did. It was decent for the price and would consider booking again. We would just be more prepared next time.

Very nice property, well maintained and managed by very nice employees. The property sits perfectly off the Main Street. Making it more desirable to an individual or family that is looking for an affordable very nice hotel room that includes: tv, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee machine. Clean, friendly, low noise from main hwy, and location is close to excellent restaurant’s and semi fast food eateries.

Modest, but clean and more than adequate. Fairly large fridge was a nice surprise! Within walking distance is a pizza/brew restaurant and a bit farther we discovered a place with great fish tacos.

Hidden gem, great staff. Friendly service, clean accommodations. Wonderful amenities in the rooms. Great for a single person busy that needs their rest or an entire family that likes safe, clean, friendly atmosphere's and is respectful of other occupants.

The accommodating price point brought me to the motel… The front desk associates were an immediate selling point. They are so kind and welcoming! The room was quiet, simple, and had everything I needed- peace, A working television, a good sized mini fridge, a microwave, and a clean bathroom with a shower and working hot water. If I could come and clean there a few days a week in exchange for the peaceful rest I finally received!? I would do it. The only points off were the cracked mirror, an arm chair that had seen better days, and a few old cigarette burns on the top comforter.

Soothing, therapeutic, relaxing, and very beautiful Indian music played softly in the background as I walked the grounds. The music, along with the quaintness and cleanliness of the rooms, made the stay special and memorable. Someday.......I will be back.

super close to the beach, clean, safe. the restroom sink took a while to drain the water after washing hands or brushing teeth. the restroom smelled bad when i first walked in, but the smell went away. other than that, the room was very nice!

Very bad bed bugs situation, left with my body covered with bed bugs bites it was horrible and disgusting and the lady manager refused to acknowledge and apologize for the harm and discomfort.

I had a class in Ventura. The Ventura Beach House Motel, was very nice. The problems was they only had 1 wash cloth in the bathroom. Also, they need an ice machine. They told my husband. Oh it’s not far there’s a liquefied store down the road. In the dark they said it was walking distance, about a quarter of a mile give or take a few steps he made it. Then he had to walk back in the dark with the ice. Other than these 2 issues we enjoyed our stay.

Am a weekly traveler to Ventura for work last 3yrs. Finally a budget motel that overdelivers - outside looks almost new, rooms clean/bed comfortable, just the opposite of the Days Inn in Camarillo where I used to stay at the same rate. Stay here!

When we checked in- they changed the price from my Expedia price- saying we owed an extra $49.95 Expedia FEE, for booking using Expedia . If Expedia charges me for using their site- I’ll never use Expedia again. The room is dirty, lamps are broken, shower head broken - No refunds - so we were stuck. My sons room had bed bugs . BED BUGS!! Do not stay here .
