We had such a great stay at San Simian Lodge! The location was so beautiful and peaceful. We saw lots of colorful birds around the lodge. We were able to swim in the laguna and use the kayaks. The food and drinks were fantastic. The lodge was able to provide transport to and from Granada. 100% recommend!

Beautiful location right on Laguba de Apoyo. Breakfast was included and was great. The dinners at the restaurant were also good. We were there on very rainy days, so weren't able to enjoy the outside as much as we had hoped too. Daniel, the owner was very helpful with arranging shuttles etc.

Don't stay anywhere else. This place is absolutely spectacular. This is the second time we have stayed With Daniel and Raquel and it won't be the last. We wish we could have stayed a month.

What a hidden gem. Beautiful cabins with hammocks, amazing views, great food and a very nice staff. Not too crowded. I stayed 3 nights and wish i could have stayed longer. Highly recommended

This place is fantastic. Great friendly hosts, good food and a beautiful lagoon. Be sure to check out the Free diving school right down the road as well as the Water Slide Hotel. The family room was perfect for travelling with kids.

If you want to unwind & relax this is the place. Beautiful view depending on the room you choose. Bungalows are amazing, lush gardens, swimming in the lagoon was awesome. We had a nice time, will definitely come back with our kids.

The owners and staff, particularly Daniel the bartender, are very friendly and welcoming. The food was fantastic. The place itself is beautiful and very well maintained. The whole place is a beautiful garden in what is already a naturally gorgeous area. Dogs are welcome and the owners have a lovely German Shepard pup. We spent our 25th anniversary here and couldn’t have hoped for a beautifully designed, quiet and comfortable spot.

What a gem on Laguna Apoyo! Daniel and his staff run an excellent beautiful paradise. The unique cabinas with super comfortable mattresses made our stay so relaxing. We ended up only being able to stay for two nights but wished it was for longer..All of our meals were delicious. The breakfast and fresh fruit were a great way to start the day. We will definitely be back! Thanks for the much needed rest.

I loved this place, and wish I had stayed 4 nights instead of 3. Daniel and his staff are great, and the hotel is at a very quiet location on the lake. If barking dogs or 4am roosters drive you crazy like they do me, you will be happy because i experienced none of that. Lots of hammocks and sling chairs available. The kayaks have seen better days but are ok. I loved the outdoor shower, the mattress was very comfortable, and the food is good. If you want a place close to town or other dining options, this is probably not your spot. I would absolutely return.

Daniel was an excellent host! We very much enjoyed our stay at this eco-lodge! Our favorite parts were showering in our outdoor shower, gazing at the stars at the beach, and taking out the tubes on the lake! There isn't too much around the area for activities, so if you're looking for a fairly relaxing few days, I'd recommend this place :)

You would think with all of the political unrest in the last year that it would be impossible to keep up with the same level of service. In fact you have probably already read about how many businesses have had to close. COME ANYWAY! Daniel does an amazing job of keeping things going at a top-notch level and the experience was incredible. Not one detail was overlooked. Food was excellent and Service was always friendly and helpful.Nicaragua needs your tourist dollars more than ever and you will have no regrets if you stay at this beautiful property!

Such a beautiful place, Daniel was a fantastic hotel manager and had all the information you could want about the area, going above and beyond any expectations. Fantastic, kayaking or floating in paradise you truely feel secluded and free at this magnificent place. I only booked for 2 nights but ended staying 4. I would definatly stay there again. Thanks.

very nice quiet place. best spot for swimmimg in the cleanest lake of Nicaragua. Exellent food and superb drinks very helpfull personal The cabana was very clean. perfect place for relax a few days its much cooler than the nearby city of Granada Will be back soon
