Location and view, amazing. Accommodations, a little minimal. No dish soap, hand soap, paper towel or extra blankets. Couch is not a couch, it’s a love seat, at best.

Oceana cottages are iconic and have been around for years. They’re rustic but charming. Definitely could use some updates but again, this adds to their charm. The location is superb, right on the beach, close to great sightseeing, restaurants. There’s even a bus if you wanted to take it to Provincetown and avoid the hassle of parking. Tons to do in the area. The bed is only a full size, you could easily fit a queen bed which might be more appealing to some couples.

The location was excellent, right on the beach with amazing views and convenient to many things to do. The negatives, no hot water in the shower either morning. The owner said we didn't let it run long enough but it was 2 people showering and i let it run for at least 5 minutes first. Very cramped, outdated and not repaired poorly. Our unit was also not a standalone cottage and the walls are paper thin. They also ask you to clean and empty the garabe which i found odd for a fairly expensive place.

The unit which I stayed facing street view and it's very tiny, more than3/4 of cottage shared with other unit. I slept only for couple of hours for first day since it was so hot inside and no fan, if I open the window, lot's of noise for Car going entire night. I have asked next day for the fan and they provided very tiny fan with extremely dust on it, I have asked another fan since it has so much of dust, the old woman very annoying, she just dust off the fan a little and gave to me like " here you go". I was very upset and cleaned the fan myself with towel and used it for next day still it was so noisy even after closing the window. It was really nightmare to stay in the cottage.

The location was outstanding. The owners were lovely and readily available.

Very well thought out arrangement of the common areas. Long term renters made you feel right at home. Will look forward to another stay.

Pubic hair in the drain!! no full length mirrors, the cottage floor tipped towards the ocean, it was the smaller than a normal hotel room. Deadbolt was broken. Management walked in while i was in bed and my car was parked in my assigned parking place, in front of their office window! They thought we had checked out, although we still had our keys.

I wanted a small place right near the water. I got just that. The water was practically, right outside my door...below the platform. I will come back to enjoy the surroundings again.

This is truly 'old Cape Cod'. It is a basic cottage, but it is clean, right on the water and has all the basics for a cozy stay, including a comfortable bed (though I am glad that I brought an extra pillow). If you prefer sea breezes to air conditioning, this is the place for you. You may hear your neighbors from time to time, but we had no issues with the people who were staying next to us. We loved the sweet cottage, and the beach is wonderful. Helena was kind and very responsive for any questions we had. We'd definitely stay here again!

On the beach and public transportation to town. Awesome laid-back vibe and staff very accommodating. Clean, and priced right.

Right on the water, good location. Unfortunately very bad night sleep. Full bed is old/uncomfortable and too tight for two, no ac so you need the windows open which is very loud being right on the highway.
Like 5 pieces of silverware and you wash them yourselves before you leave which makes me question the cleanliness.

I loved at how close to the beach our room was located. There was a bus stop right outside of the main office to bring us into PTown. I would 10/10 stay here again!

Overall, we really really enjoyed our stay here. Yes our particular cottage was very dated, HOWEVER, the remodel process is coming along one cottage at a time, and I’m sure once they’re all done it’ll be absolutely fantastic! At least the shower, kitchen, and windows were already updated.. At first it was slightly disappointing not to have a TV, but it ended up being fine. The location is fabulous, can’t get any closer to the beach. Since our non-beach-front booking was needed for another guest, we were given beach-front at no additional cost. We would definitely stay again.

You can’t go wrong when the Atlantic Ocean is out your front door! That said the accommodations were clean but shabby not shabby chic just shabby. The stove did not work, the fridge was rusted on the outside. I think the only reason I did not fall through the bathroom floor was the linoleum tile. My husband gave them a detailed explanation of our dissatisfaction. I would never recommend.
