It’s an older motel but they maintain it well. Hwy 101 passes right in front of the property so it’s kind of noisy.

Could not sleep do to all the mice we could hear chewing and running around in the walls

Cabin like experience. Great for base to explore area. No frills but would easily stay here again.

Horrible bed, bedding and pillows floors slanted so much hard to walk in room

Nice reception, easy to find, clean and safe.

It is a small, older property but convenient and front door parking in front of each room. Dining options in the area are very limited and everything closes in Winchester Bay by 8 pm. No reflection on this place, just sharing that info.! The beds here are very old and not the most comfortable but they were ok for a night. The manager that checked us in was very nice and helpful.

Convenient for an overnight stay near Tugman State Park.

Nice little place close to the dunes. Nothing Fancy.

Right on busy highway. Chip trucks started running at 4:00 am. Map showed motel way around in back. Wrong. It's right up front.

This is not a Luxury Hotel with all the plush bedding. But, it is a Very Clean Motel Room with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room was so quiet we turned on a fan for white noise.
We were greeted by Scott and said if we need anything, just ask.
We left early in the morning, a couple hours later they called and said we forgot a throw blanket in our room.
Their kindness and honesty is appreciated.
We would not hesitate to stay there again.

I want to be very kind in saying this. The gentleman who attempted to check us in to the hotel did not seem to be able to do so. He appeared to be having some kind of trouble with remembering the details of our reservation. He asked repeatedly how many rooms and how many beds we needed, and repeatedly went back and forth between the same two screens on his laptop without finding our reservation. This is after waiting about 20 minutes for him to show up after we called to check in at about 6:30pm. We had reserved this weeks in advance and he called us on the phone to confirm a day or two later. I don't know what's going on there but honestly it was not a good feeling and so we just went down the road to somewhere else.

The Seadrift was very clean and friendly. It is an older property without the modern updates, but it's a clean bed for a night

No phone, Wi-Fi didn’t work most of time. Office wouldn’t call me back after leaving two messages. Heater made to much noise. No ice machine

As a fishing cabin, this may be fine but several problems arose for me.
After pulling up into lot next to office, went to the door and found note to call a certain number if office vacant. Called number, which wasn't answered and went to voicemail. It took ten minutes for the "host" to show up to check us in. Seems he forgot his phone while on errand.
After checking us in, we asked where any restaurants might be and the reply was outside the mini-mart/gas station next door, the nearest food was 6 miles back up the road at a marina.
The room was very sparsely furnished, with a cheap, small table, two basic chairs, a small coffee table and, a love seat. The bathroom was tiny with no shelving for any toiletries, the toilet itself was right next to the door and moved when you sat on it. The whole room floor was tilted slightly from front to back and the bed was something from a cheesy old horror movie since every time you moved it creaked like an old wooden door.
The only reasons I rated this a "2" out of five was it had cable TV and was clean.
Definitely not recommended for anything but last resorts

2 star hotel that exceeded my expectations. Recently updated, clean, with comfortable beds. The bathroom was redone with everything new, shower was small but that was my only gripe.

Great Manager (Scott) and his wife keep it clean and friendly

Standard hotel room was quiet and had been recently updated. Bed was comfortable enough. Appreciated upscale toiletries, bath towels and the blow dryer and the "boat" towel was a great idea. Couch was not so comfortable.

A standard motel. Does the job. Felt safe and comfortable while we slept.

Clean, quaint. They've done upgrades. LOVE the 'boat' towels!!

This is a small, 9 room motel. The room was clean and management was helpful. The only downsides were the tiny shower and lack of quality wifi.

Check in time at 4:00 p.m. our room was not ready at 8:00 p.m. and they said they still didn't even know when it will ready. They only had one worker on staff able to clean the rooms was there a reason why our room was not ready.
Drove in from Northern California on our way home to Washington decided to drive straight home cuz we're sick of waiting.
Next time we'll be looking for Airbnb.

I did notice that the painting was done excellent been to other motel's that were nice clean but had splashed paint very well maintained

The rooms have been updated but the craftsmanship and quality are a bit sub par. Road noise is a bit loud during the day but ok at night. Very close to Tenmile lake and other outdoor activities.

Room was nice. The building was older but updated. My only dissatisfaction would be our firdge was not working, The bed and couch were not the most comfortable but overall it was a nice quiet place to sleep.

This is a clean no frills motel. You have a tv, refrigerator, and microwave. The bed was comfortable. Very clean!

It was ok for an overnight stay. Would’ve been nice to have a hairdryer and a fan in the bathroom.

Had a really bad experience here... wouldn’t recommend in any case

Basic looking strip motel on the highway was surprisingly updated. Yes, it has an old car-siding wall with a rusty heater on it, but the floors, all other walls, shower, fixtures and even eco-towels are all of recent years. This was a crash-and-go place and it was perfectly fine. Highway noise not an issue at night.
