Great hotel, I've stayed in Iceland a few times before, this is so far my favourite hotel. The Spa is amazing, loved it
5.0
It was very nice stay, just to short, we come to Reykjavik to go to theater and the stay in the hotel was short. just to sleep and have breakfast.
5.0
Amazing and the front desk was full of advice for traveling. The spa was just right to get a workout and a soak. Perfect walking distance to the market and a little longer for dinner options but worth the walk.

It was good. At breakfast you need to have a receptacle to place old teabags etc into. Our friends had issues with radiators making loud noises, they should be checked. Something to ensure milk is colder at breakfast and a choice of milks (semi skimmed) etc is needed. The coffee ran out and nobody seemed to be checking it.

It was amazing. The staff that checked us in were so helpful and friendly. When we got into our room, there was a plate full of brownies and macarons with a note to say 'thank you for booking with them' - it was such a lovely touch and was just what we needed after a long journey

We had a great stay! The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast had alot of choice and was delicious. The sauna and pools were a great addition to warm up after a day in the cold, and the gym was decent with a bike, treadmill, weights and mats. Great location too, walkable into the city centre, and to the museums. Would absolutely stay here again.

The stay was pleasant and at a good location.

The motel was like a motel 6. The bed felt like you were sleeping on a trampoline. It felt like a $50 bed the worst bed, and hotel on a 30 day trip. The sink was tiny, there was no place to hang your hand towel or any place to put your toiletries. It felt like a converted office building or apartment building and didnt feel like a hotel. There was no close parking. I wouldnt recommend staying here.

Hotel was well above average, breakfasts were all one could ask for, location was perfect for bus, attractions, close to multiple shops, restaurants and seaside walks.
What really made the stay was the friendly helpful staff. Front desk, wait staff, housecleaning were all were exceptional.

everyone at the front desk was most helpful

The hotel room itself was average. No complaints. The front desk was okay (could be more pleasant). The bartender/server in the restaurant was not friendly and did not say much or smile much. Not very personable. Seemed unhappy to be working. I did not have an issue finding parking on the street but I could see that being a problem if you get to the hotel late at night (after 6pm). Easy park was easy to use and only have to pay for parking until 9pm. Would not stay here again. Would choose one of the many other options in the area.

I will definetly recommend it. Everything was great!!!

My wife and I stayed here on our last day in Iceland before flying out of KEF. The staff was super friendly and we were provided 2 free drinks with check in (for VIP status). The hotel was quiet and the surrounding area had a bunch of tourist attractions (the Lava Show, Whales over Iceland, etc.) and there was a place to park our camper van within a 5 minute walk. Downtown was also within walking distance. Overall I’d recommend the hotel and I’d stay here again.

The hotel is really nice and clean. Parking is a issue but it usually is in a city

Good service, hallway & rooms a bit smelly. No fans in the bathrooms?

The location is a bit out of the downtown area but definitely walkable. Rooms are clean and comfortable. View of the harbor from my room was great and I saw the northern lights clearly. The spa was a nice treat - remember to book ahead. Unfortunately people saved chairs and spoke in loud voices making it distracting.

Great property and spa. Wow great location to town center

Very good location. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Room is big but very little cupboard space. Altogether very good hotel.

Perfect location for an already walkable city - right by the harbor & a 10-min walk to the downtown area where all the bars & shopping are. Across the street from Bus Stop #15, which is a popular pick-up location for tours & convenient for public transit travel through the city. Additionally, the hotel is well-known so if you're taking taxis, you don't have to worry about figuring out navigation etc, as most drivers know exactly where it is. The room itself was really comfortable - pillows and bedding were cozy, and the robe slippers were a nice touch! The toiletries were lovely - the soap/shampoo/conditioner smelled so good! The ONLY (slight) issue is that there are no fans or AC, and only 1 window in my room opened, a crack at best. So, it did tend to be a little warm in the room, however, given the chill outside it actually didn't bother me too much. Overall the room was clean & comfortable to come back to after a long day of adventuring. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous and I liked the dining options attached to the hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful, assisting with getting taxis etc. The luggage storage was a plus, as well. Bottom line, would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a warm & cozy place with a good, hot shower to use as a base stay in Reykjavik while you're traveling in Iceland!

Comfy bed, nice linens, big tub/shower combo with nice features. The breakfast options were plentiful and tasty. Spa was lovely. Parking in the neighborhood was easy enough, and there was also a free nearby lot. My only complaints would be that the tv looked like it had many channels, but they mostly didn’t seem to work. And there’s a lot of construction in the neighborhood, so the view from our balcony wasn’t very appealing. Otherwise, I thought this place was great, and I would definitely stay there again.

Very nice stay.
Breakfast in the morning is excellent. Tracy in the morning buffet was always and so very helpful.
The spa is also a wonderful way to unwind after along flight or busy day.
Good location. Many walkable places close by.
The only thing I could suggest is updating the rooms. They looked a bit worn.
Will definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel, brand new, spacious and clean. So new that one of our windows still had the sale sticker on the outside.
The bed was comfortable, the bathroom huge with a nice shower. This is the only hotel during the trip where the warm water didn't have the "thermal bath" smell and seemed filtered.
Honestly, this was the best hotel during the whole trip and a nice way to end the journey before lying home.
Reception was super nice and the hotel recognized the Hotels.com tier with a personal note in the hotel and a brownie plate. (which we didn't eat because we got there so late and had to get up super early to fly home).
To add to things, there is a free gravel parking just around the corner.

Highly professional staff with comfortable rooms. TV’s are modern, showers were nice, plenty of comfy pillow's. My balcony door swung open in the middle of the night and broke due to my own incompetence, the staff kindly moved me to another (larger and more expensive room) at no additional cost. Highly highly recommend this Hotel!

Staff were very helpful and courteous, the room was clean and comfortable, the double bed was very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel and local restaurants.

Staff was very helpful. Room was clean and comfy. No AC, but that’s an Iceland thing not limited to just this hotel, so we had to open the window which lead to street noise and a lot of light coming in but again not really the hotels fault. There was a very nice included breakfast which was great. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

Excellent location, minutes from a major bus stop. On-site dining options are quality but expensive. Front desk staff is GREAT but housekeeping staff leaves much to be desired. Overall, a good value for the money. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

There was a separate hotel bar and restaurant so nothing could be charged to the room. Quite frustrating and their bar staff were rude. Not Icelandic matter of fact demeanor just very rude!!
The English waitress was amazing though and Jimi.

Great location; quiet and clean. Easy walk to downtown Reykjavik. Stayed here on Culture Night and was not kept awake by the festivities. Actually had a really great view of the fireworks! Operable windows and an excellent bathroom exhaust fan kept the room fresh and comfortable. Ground level cafe was excellent. Parking was sparse, but a space could always be found within a few blocks. Neighborhood felt safe, and the orange cat in the lobby was a nice touch. 10/10 would stay here again.
