Everything was perfect, this place is very cozy, warm, clean and absolutely gorgeous. The bed is super comfy and the view from the window is amazing. It's very easy to find, very good location. Also, there is plenty of information how to turn on and turn off the grill, how to light a fireplace, best websites from where to order the food etc.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Reykjavík Domes!
The domes themselves are really warm, especially if you know how to light the fire and keep it hot - they also give you instructions on this. The dome itself was super comfortable and relaxing with the robes and slippers being a perfect extra! We didn’t need to use the earplugs or extra heating supplies. The kitchen facilities and shower were also excellent so don’t let that put you off! It was perfect and exceeded my expectations :)
The only thing we were unsure of is the security of the dome - we know Iceland is a really safe place so wasn’t too concerned, but at the entrance to the area where the domes are is completely open, we were a little nervous when going to sleep. We were unsure on how to set the alarm for when you’re inside the dome, so some instructions on that would be a great addition, just to provide a peace of mind.

Varias cosas a mencionar:
-Si vas en invierno: Hace frío una vez la leña se apaga hace frío, aunque tienes mantas y calefactores para pasar la noche
-La localización: está al lado de una carretera así que tienes coches pasando y ruido de una autovía principal, está muy cerca de la ciudad.
-Jacuzzi: se quedaba frío y no es súper “user friendly”

Attention to detail, Polaroid, bubbles and roses.
Rug, eye mask loved it all
It would be really useful to have a list of any eateries or shops nearby just so you can prepare before jumping in a taxi. We just wanted to stay as long as possible🤗

Just overall a fantastic place to stay .

Hot tub was hot and in a great location to view mountains and star gaze. Bed was soft and cozy.
Space heaters couldn’t keep place hot enough alone (heater by far wall read 18, and heater by door was at 13 or lower). We had a fire going but then there was condensation leaking on the far wall and foot of the bed. Some of our clothes/belongings got wet. We improvised a way to keep the bed from getting more wet, but for $700USD/night, this shouldn’t be an issue.

The domes were incredible. Absolutely loved them. The private hot tub and luxury indoors was just amazing

The pod was very clean, relaxing and comfortable. I loved the extra’s the room had. They left us some sparkling wine in an ice bucket with 2 glasses and had music playing when we got there. Also had robes and slippers with a face mask and ear buds.
We didn’t drive so was difficult to pull cases on the gravel but that wouldn’t stop us from staying there again

Amazing spot to see the Northern Lights. We may have got lucky or this was the ideal location as there wasn't too much light pollution around. I spotted the luminous green out of our dome window as we got into bed and turned off the lights. I would recommend leaving the curtains open - it is very dark and you are facing a field, so also very private.
Considering the location of the dome is so close to the city you feel as if you are in the country side, however, as it is just outside of the city, you can slightly here the road in the distance.
The dome was bigger than I expected. The facilities were great considering it is a luxurious tent essentially. It was lovely and warm with the fire was on. The hot tub was nice and secluded and they provided slippers and a robe to run out to the tub in.
The shared kitchen, showers, toilets were all kept up to date, clean and warm.

- Very clean and spacious dome.
- Thoughtful amenities and luxuries provided
- Good hot tub
-Plenty of heaters
- Toilets and showers didn’t live up to the £300 price tag that we paid for one night.
- Zipped door flapped about a lot in the night which was noisy.
- Whole done is generally noisy but ear plugs were provided.
- Not as much privacy in the dome and hot tub area as we would’ve liked.

Mi sarebbe piaciuto trovare la stanza calda con il fuoco già accesso e invece un freddo glaciale.

They were nice , well equipped and we enjoyed it.
Also they have a separate owned “Rage Room” that was being utilized
There was 1 shower and it had no shower curtain and since everyone gets the keys to all the facilities anyone can walk in while you shower without a curtain.
And we could hear the banging from our dome.

Gorgeous place to stay everything was perfect. Lots of lovely extras included which was a nice touch. Got to see the northern lights from the jacuzzi and watch from our dome amazing!

The dome was the perfect location to celebrate my husband’s 40th. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights both nights of our stay from the comfort of the hot tub. What an experience!
The dome itself was beautiful and very cosy and the log burner kept us nice and toasty 😊.

The Dome was extremely clean and well equipped with the log burner making it very cosy. The Kitchen was extremely well equipped and the showers, toilets and kitchen were spotlessly clean.
I didn't realise the site was still in a built up area as I thought it was in the countryside. It would have been nice if a door system could be added to the dome to make it easier to access.

The dome itself was pretty amazing. The fireplace, the loft beds for the kids, and the kitchenette were all very nice. There was plenty of space, and the minigolf course next door was fun.
Starting at 8a there was construction equipment running directly in front of our dome for the whole morning. It would have been nice to know about this construction ahead of time, as we might have chosen something different, especially given the price of the domes.

The actual dome was beautiful! The decor is cute and well thought out. I loved the hot tub! I also loved that there was a bathrobe and slippers available and that you could close the dome if you wanted.
It’s proximity to other domes was a problem. Families with young kids were staying right next to us and the domes do not offer any sound barriers. We were on our honeymoon and the sounds of screaming children was not romantic. In addition, nothing was mentioned about the fact that the domes could smell of smoke. As someone with asthma, this was a problem for me. We kept everything as open as possible to try to air out the tent to mitigate this issue as much as we could before setting in for the night. It should also be clear that we did NOT have a lock on our room, which did make us feel partially unsafe. The final thing I’ll say is that it should be clear to those booking this property that there is an abandoned (??) family fun center property right next to the domes and there are strangers / locals using it? It definitely gives the area more of a haunted and creepy vibe than a romantic vibe we were hoping for.

By far the comfiest bed and pillows ever at a hotel! The dome exceeded our expectations, the grounds and common spaces were immaculate - fantastic stay all around I only wish we’d spent more than one night!
Can’t say a bad word. It was excellent!
4.5
The dome was comfortable and the bed was wonderful! The decor was lovely and it was very easy to find.
The shower room would be fine if it had a sink and more plug-ins. I did not like that everything was locked, so to go to the bathroom in the night you needed keys and a light.

The Dome is amazing, its a warm feeling one with nature a really experience. Definitely something you have to do at least once in your lifetime!

Fantastic! excellent location about 10mins drive from the city. Extremely clean and very romantic! ideal for couples.

But it is comfy cozy and a great experience had the night sky cooperated it would have been extraordinary. I imagine the hot tub is also amazing but the weather did not allow for it.
Not practical in terms of price for more than one night.

Easy to find, private, clean and very comfortable. Check in and out was simple with convenient parking space. Hot tub was lovely and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable and the views from the dome were good.

We loved our dome. Our room was very stylish and relaxing. The shower and bathroom in the dome was great to have. The area was quiet and not far to go out to dinner in Reykjavik
4.5
The inside of the dome, the bathroom, kitchen and hot tub were awesome. Nice and clean and very comfortable.
Very warming and cozy inside.
The way the accomodation is described or inferred in the advert us a secluded and peaceful spot...it is less than 100 meters from a highway that you can hear throughout...there is a crazy golf and paintball literally connected to the dome area that looks abandonned....it was just massively underwhelming. There was building work going on in the distance next to some massive hotel or apartment block where you are meant to view the picturesque landscape....if we hadn't had still seen the northern lights that night I would have been infuriated, that was through a break in the cloud above us.
You can't see far enough to appreciate the view due to trees and the hotel, just the occasional mountain in the far distance during the 5 hours of sun.
Funnily enough the big hotel wasn't in the description nor the busy highway and light pollution.
This is clearly sold as a means to have an amazing northern lights viewing experience and the motorway racket along side the other bits made this very frustrating.
If you could move the dome somewhere else(maybe 300 meters from a dual carriageway arterial route) where it was facing no buildings it would have been amazing.

This property is amazing!! Very comfortable, warm and romantic. We paid additional for the romantic package on arrival and this really completed the stay. The facilities are very good with a kettle, microwave, oven available in the kitchen. The toilets/showers are clean and easily accessible. The hot tub was just lovely sitting out at night watching the stars. If you want something special for your trip I would stay here.
nothing 10/10
