This property should not be receiving guests. The water taxi driver was a rock star and the young lady working the front desk was helpful, but the toilet didn't work and the plumber assigned to fix it was intoxicated beyond belief. I physically removed him from my cabana. My wife had 100-200 bed bug bites after the second night.
Don't stay here, this plus sucks.
My wife and I cut an 8-day vacation to 3 because of what we experienced at P&P.

Stayed in a cottage on Stocking Island; very peaceful and the beach is beautiful. Poor communication with loss of power one night and both emergency numbers were not answered. Quite concerning. Took a couple days to get our stove working.

We arrived to a very friendly staff, the boat captains were very friendly and helped us get across to our cottage every day and night. Anytime we had a question and called the front desk they were always happy to help. They have a very friendly orange cat around the beach bar that my wife loved. We would love to go back when we can!

We get what we expect.
Because we stay 4 times at the Bahamas, we know the problems and so we are not shocked about the prices.
The stuff was very, very friendly and helpfully.
Our property was clean, quit and had a wonderful view.
The beach was in a really good condition, you can walk by your feet to chat an chill. The SUP and other water supply was for free and they don’t take an additional fee.
The water taxi is an open Console boat, so you can be wet when the weather will be rougher.
All in all we had wonderful but expensive day’s at this lovely and nice location.
Thanks to the stuff

The cottages have no ac in the living room, the dining room, the bathrooms, or the kitchen! Since they are made out of wood and have zero insulation it is impossible to cool with just the ac coming from the bedrooms’ mini splits. Being that mid July and the temperature is 100 degrees, the cottage is hotter than a sauna and unbearable to spend any considerable amount of time inside. My youngest was supposed to sleep in the living room sofa bed as we are a family of 5 and it’s a cottage for 6 (1 king, 1 queen, and sofa bed) but we could not allow him to sleep in that heat! You could barely spend 5 minutes inside the cottage before you were drenched in sweat and out of breath. Considering the cost per night, there are certain expectations of comfort, even though you are in the islands and know that things are different. After much complaining they provide us with another cottage for 2 with a king bed, that at least gave us all a bedroom with air conditioning but separated our family into 2 cottages. Being that 2 of our sons were home from college and we were celebrating our youngest’s birthday we were disappointed by the separation which is why we booked 1cottage originally and not 2. We were refunded the resort fee, for the inconvenience that my youngest had to sleep on a floor mattress in our room since the second cottage was unavailable until the next day. Unable to spend any time together at second cottage as it was too small for a family and the larger cottage was too hot!

We had an amazing trip with family and friends, staying in the cottages on Stocking Island. The property is older / historical, but offers all that you need for a wonderful and relaxing vacation along with the amenities of the adjoining property. The Beach Club was perfect for the beach days where we relaxed and offered plenty of activities for the kids, plus food and drinks steps away from your lounging chair and beach! The staff could not be friendlier and quickly resolved any issues and did do with a smile! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the beautiful Exuma and Sticking Island!

We just returned from Peace and Plenty Cottages, waking up to this little slice of heaven every morning was a dream come true. Staying on a tiny island only accessible by water can have its challenges but with a manager like Navada who is ready and willing to jump in for whatever you need and a boat crew like Kyle and Garvin who make themselves available whether it is in the expected hours or not you would never know you are more than a few steps away from the mainland. With BoneFish singing, dancing and grilling all at the same time at the beach club and Melo there to deliver your every need you can't go wrong. Book now and enjoy this slice of Heaven.

The grounds and landscaping are beautiful. Our family stay was a nightmare and we actually cut our vacation short and went home early because of this property. We stayed in a cabin on Stocking Island.
1) had no water in the cabin for almost half the stay. I heard others complaining too and apparently this is common at P&P 2) we booked months in advance and they knew we needed to use the pullout couch but no bedding was provided. When I finally got bedding and pulled out the couch there was a ton of animal feces on the mattress, so it was disgusting and unusable. 3) the floor was so dirty everyone’s feet turned black and had to be washed before bed. 4) was told there was air conditioning but it was only in the bedrooms. The common room only had fans. 5) half of the windows levers were broken. 6) the refrigerator was dirty and had grease and yuk on the outside. I am requesting a full refund. Having no water for much of the time and finding animal feces in the couch.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage on Stocking Island. Stocking Island was amazing, and the water taxi from Exuma Island was very convenient. I just wish that when we got to the cottage that there were instructions on the living room table….for example, wifi passcode, front desk phone number, restaurant phone number, taxi service, information about the island, things to do, etc. The resort host brought us to the cottage and told us nothing.

We stayed in the villas on stocking island. The island and area where the hotel is, is very beautiful. The cottages were comfortable and the hotel has a cute beach club on the island.
What we found disappointing was the service level given the price of the hotel. The prices reflect a luxury hotel but the service level is very basic. A few examples - we we checked in and arrived at our room on the island at 7:30pm to find that the room code wasn’t working, so we could not get in. We called reception several times but we weren’t able to get through to anyone. The boat captain was with us and he also couldn’t get through to anyone. The captain finally tried the master code which worked and we got in.
On another occasion we booked a car to rent for the day at the front desk only to arrive at the time the car was supposed to be there to find that there was no car and the receptionist had no idea what we were talking about, and couldn’t find any record for the booking.
The rooms were not very clean there was always a layer of dirty dust on the floors and under the furniture.
We saw a rat in the room and told the receptionist who didn’t seem fazed by the news. Nothing was done about it. A few days later we sent a video of the rat to the hotel. After that it seemed to disappear.
Throughout all the above we didn’t receive any sort of apology or acknowledgement.
Given we were paying around $500/night at the hotel I would have expected a better service level.

The location of the property is stunning - absolutely nothing can refute that. The property itself needs some upgrading (no freezer in a normal size refrigerator?), maybe some additional storage space (one dresser and no closets in the entire 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage). The ceiling fan does not provide much air circulation and is very noisy. Housekeeping was really responsive, the concierge at Kahari was helpful and efficient, and the beach bar staff were friendly and accommodating. But, the setting and the view make any inconveniences of the property seem insignificant. Also, the free water taxi to Georgetown was a major perk. I’d absolutely stay here again!

The most beautiful spot. Gorgeous beach at the beach club and very nice people. The villa was nice but main room, kitchen and bathrooms not air conditioned. Bedrooms well air-conditioned for sleeping and if doors are left open, the main rooms do cool off. Worst issue was no hot water for the duration of our stay Propane did not work for the first couple of days, but was fixed. Again, amazing beaches and the people were friendly and helpful.

The cottages are out on Stocking Island. Very private, quiet, beautiful beach. Only one restaurant out there so must water taxi in.
