My reservation was made well in advance of my stay. ON THE DAY OF MY ARRIVAL I called ahead to let the front desk know I would be a late arrival, to confirm my room, and to be sure I was getting a walk in shower as requested at the time of my initial reservation (I'm recovering from hip surgery and cant step in/out of a bathtub yet.) I was told they would have a room with walk in shower ready for me upon arrival. I arrived with my daughter about 930pm. As i was parking, I received a call from the front desk. They needed to discuss an "urgent matter." THEY OVERBOOKED AND BUMPED MY RESERVATION! I went in to the lobby to be met with the associate. She was rude and condescending. She acted like i was inconveniencing THEM. After an hour or so, Tru found me another accommodation in another town and picked up the cost. The other hotel was more of a motel, and definitely not the same value. I was in town for a large competition and most hotels were sold out by the "night of." It was clear why the place i was put- wasnt sold out. It was a place for us to sleep, so we took it. We didnt get checked in until after 11pm because of all the time spent finding another place and the drive time to get there. My daughter missed several hours of sleep for her competition. We were told that BECAUSE WE BOOKED THROUGH HOTELS.COM, they bumped our reservation because it wasnt booked through their own brand! Im hesitant to book through Hotels.com again and getting the same result. Very bad experience.

I've stayed here a few times now. This time around I had a few issues, nothing major but the refrigerator in my did not work and I had to switch rooms. Other than that I was happy with my stay.

I had to supply my own sheets and blanket because I am Allergic to all feather products. This hotel only provided feather comforters etc. I asked staff to remove all feather bedding, brought my own and made my own bed. Your hotel should offer Foam products for those of us that are allergic to Down feather products. I feel that I should receive a refund for the room since I had to bring my own bedding and also make the bed!!

The entire first floor smelled like raw sewage. Was part of a large wedding party and was asked to keep down our conversation in the lobby and not another location for the entire family to meet up and celebrate the special occasion. Would not recommend this property and will not stay again. Asked from desk if they had any firm pillows was told all they had was the soft down and to stack them together, purchased a pillow at the local target.

Ghetto....$130night and they don't even give you water bottles. Walked in and the place smelled like dog poo. A lady let her Chihuahua drag his big sack of balls all over the lobby couch and no one blinked an eye. Breakfast was minimalistic at best, bagel and cream cheese was the only thing worth eating. Police were called as 2 men had a fight on my floor. Seriously thought they were going to bust through the walls like the Kool aid man. Just a trash experience over all. Shame on you Hilton.

This location is more for younger crowd, they allow drinkinking alcohol on hotel public areas. Hallways, elevators and rooms have strong dog smells.

The hotel is located where it was quiet and not too far from the harbor. It was lovely experience. We stayed for a night and the room was just perfect for a little night away from home.

I booked 1 king bedroom, Hotel gave me 2 queen bedroom. The toilet flush had faulty mechanism, that doesn’t always flush.

Clean & comfortable room. Great beds & toiletries. Our AC didnt feel too cool, but im sure the outside heat of 103° didnt help. All of the staff was friendly & helpful. The breakfast buffet was complete. Pool was busy but we went off hours & had no crowds. Great restaurants near by, too. We loved Gloria's on the Harbor.

I booked room for $128 total. when I paid at hotel they charged my credit card $214. I inquired at front desk, they said $50 for misc we would receive refund after check out. There is till a discrepancy of $36 She said that it was booked third party and on hotel that’s all that it showed but could not give me a receipt for the $128. I have sent an appeal to my credit card.

This was my first time staying at Tru Hilton. The room I had was wonderful- very clean and i was able to walk to the Harbor without driving - parking is crazy on the weekends - the staff very friendly and I liked how the lobby was accommodating kids - great place for families to stay / the rooms are very nice - definitely would stay again

Never been to a worse hotel in my entire life. From a roach crawling on the wall to the staff being rude and unprofessional. I honestly am at a disbelief I even really experienced the horror that I did there. It’s absolutely insane what we suffered, oh and did I mention our rooms AC barely worked which made the stinch even worse.

arrived around 11pm. Check in was fine. Went straight to room and fell asleep. Awoke to take a shower at 6am. No hot water. Suffered through a cold shower and packed to leave. Arrived at the checkout counter and said “there’s no hot water” - to which the receptionist responded with “thanks for letting me know” - not so much as an I’m sorry, or how can I make this better. I was in this hotel for 8 hours total and that’s all they could say and not offer any sort of reimbursement. Unacceptable.

Disappointed. No coffee pot or microwave in the room. The mini refrigerator didn't work. Bathroom door wouldn't lock and we were with our grandchildren. A/C did not get cold, we set it at 72 degrees and probably got down to 76 at best. It looks to be a very new building, unsure why so many things not working. Also, there was no ice machine on our floor.

The overall experience was good. The availability of a high quality coffee service in the lobby 24/7 was great. The lack of basic cable/satellite TV in the room was the deal breaker. The unnecessary complicated procedure, involving activating a reward club membership, to acquire an active stream made this a hotel I will not book again.
