Right beside Alnwick Castle.

Really great hotel, we stayed in the Dorm which was fabulous. Restaurant was really nice but i would recommend booking in advance. Short walk to Alnwick castle. The parking was a bit trickier than expected and we found a free car park less than 5 mins away.

Wonderful room, spacious with comfy bed and large bathroom. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was cold, including drinks and toast. That was the only downside. Would definitely stay again.

Beautifully quirky property! Lovely staff and great value for money and tasty food!
Great location!
Only dropped a star as water stopped half way through having a shower and had to wait 20mins for a drink due to influx of customs and not enough manpower at that time
Definitely recommend a stay or even pop in for food

Loved our stay. Would return

I expected this to be a touristy hotel, but it’s a few rooms located over a pub. I was so pleasantly surprised. The room was spectacularly decorated. The TV had access to the Harry Potter movies so we were able to watch one in our room the night before visiting the castle. The provided breakfast was wonderful. 10/10 would recommend and would stay here again.

Unique and amazing room. Quirky details in room tastefully done. Couldn’t fault it.only thing that let them down was the breakfast.

Absolutely loved this property. In the center of town, so it's easy to walk to shops and there is parking options. Highly recommend. Will try to stay longer next time!

Lovely Harry Potter themed hotel and restaurant The Dirty Bottles breakfast was great and we also ate there on an evening generous tasty portions and lovely atmosphere,Staff attentive.
we stayed in the chamber really lovely room the only thing was it’s not very sound proof with the adjoining room Dumbledorm we could hear them talking and walking around probably didn’t help that the people weren’t very considerate of other guests.
The room could do with a suitcase stand as there was nowhere to put your case other than the floor and the room is big enough to take it. I would also suggest a shelf in the bathroom by the sink so you have somewhere to put your toiletries and be careful in the shower as it leaks on the floor
But we loved it and would return great location backs onto Alnwick Castle

Good unpretentious approach to hotel accommodation with a wonderful touch of quirkiness.

This was a wonderful place to stay when visiting the castle the staff were so friendly and helpful and our room (the chamber) was lots of fun, complete with sorting hat and the bathroom looked new, my only beware was that there are lots of stairs, which added to the atmosphere but were steep and narrow I would highly recommend

We loved this hotel, it had been lovingly designed with a cool bar, cosy nooks to dine and drink in and our room was huge with a luxe bathroom with claw foot bath, Elemis products and bath robes. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the location was excellent for town and for visiting Alnwick Castle and Gardens. There are just enough Hogwarts inspired touches without it feeling tacky or twee. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Staff were nice and friendly. The room decor, dark wood furniture and standalone bath made it feel like a more expensive hotel than paid for. There’s a fine bar and restaurant downstairs and free parking nearby. What more can you ask for?

Loved the room and the atmosphere. The decor was fabulous if you are a Harry Potter fan.
The restaurant was good food, not much choice for veggies though. Brilliant if you are a big meat eater.
Unfortunately the room was so hot it was uncomfortable. We turned the heating off in the bedroom but we could not turn it down in the bathroom.
The breakfast was also lovey.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. And would go back.

A very quirky hotel with spacious rooms, so close to town. Staying was delightful, really added to the enjoyment of the trip and family loved the photos of the Harry Potter themes.

Walls are paper thin, stayed in the Dumbledorm and didn’t get any sleep as you can hear everything from next door. Food and standard of hotel brilliant but if anyone is staying next door don’t expect any sleep

Wonderful little gem - historic site that has managed to keep original features while still being comfortable and modern. The room was incredible - attention to little decorative details and comfort, luxury products and really kind and helpful staff. The food in the restuarant downstairs was VERY good with generous portions. Breakfast was the same - amazing service all round. We will be back!

Very helpful staff. The Harry Potter rooms are fabulous. The only down side is there is no parking.
