We really enjoyed our stay. They have a nice public bath and the Japanese style breakfast was excellant.

Nice Japanese style entrance and overall design of the hotel is very nice. Room very comfortable and clean.

Convenient location for Komachi Dori but on the other side of JR station so remains very quiet. A reminder to book parking ahead of time if you are driving to the location. Otherwise, it’s easy to find parking around but just no in and out privileges. We booked a family room for 4 but indicated only 2 people on Expedia. We called the hotel in advance to add the 3rd and 4th occupants and they will invoice when checking out.

We stayed there for the night, and everyone was friendly. They spoke English, which was very nice for getting everything going. Everything is close by, and the beach is within walking distance! I would recommend staying here for a nice beach day or two!

Lovely property! Nice public bath, not huge, but quite nice. The only odd thing was that when you check in, you must choose the time you will eat breakfast every day (no room for spontaneous) and you had to choose wether you wanted the Japanese or wester breakfast… I chose the Japanese breakfast which was lovely- the first day, but since it was exactly the same every day, it got a bit repetitive…
Location is awesome, maybe a 7 minute walk to train station, surrounded by cute shops and restaurants…

Great location and value

Near the train station and shops, yet far enough away from the busy shopping street to enjoy the peaceful location. Traditional Japanese room was clean with nice touches, but was cramped for 3 adults. The lack of space for clothes and toiletries and a place to contain suitcases made it hard to walk around the room easily.

This is a lovely, impeccably clean hotel in an excellent location. The 4 person family style room was perfect for me and my three children. My only comment is that the bed was very firm and even though I am a small person, I found it to be a bit too hard for my joints after a full day of walking (I have some arthritis in my hips) A very firm mattress does seem to be the overall preference in Japan, so this is just a matter of personal opinion.

Very joyful building. My No 1 of our 10 hotels in this trip. Super close to station and it is on the decent street. Compliment clam miso soup with rice hot spring. Cannot expect more, 10 out of 10 for sure. I regret of only booking one night, and we got the room with punk beds. Ideal for family. Lovely staff

I stayed for 2 nights. The hotel was overall satisfactory but one of the older female staff is not so friendly towards me. The other staff are all nice and helpful. The public bath is smaller than expected but good enough. The room was clean and amenities were sufficient.

Beautiful little inn, on a charming central street. The staff could not have been more kind and welcoming. Onset and hospitality are made this seem like a mini-resort.

Good overnight stay to turn a visit to Kamakura as more than just a day-trip from Tokyo. Good quality hotel and room. Good location to station, restaurants and sightseeing. Nice room and amenities.

i was only staying 1 night in kamakura. needed a spot by the station so i could venture off on a pre-dawn photography adventure. found tosei hotel cocone. the staff was welcoming and engaging. the room was surprisingly larger than expected. actually larger than the room in have in shinjuku! comfortable bed and a nice tub to soak in.
if i find myself needing a stay in kamakura again, i will book here for a longer duration. wanted to check out their onsen.

Great location right next to Kamakura station. Walkable to all restaurants nearby. Great hotel with public bath.

Excellent location, pretty quiet, rooms are clean. The onsen was clean and very nice! Breakfast is not a buffet but a set breakfast with a choice of either American or Japanese, not bad but just something to be aware of.

Very nice English-speaking staff. A hotel that goes the extra mile to give guests more for their money. 24 hour coffee in the lobby and an excellent Japanese breakfast were two high points for me.

Efficient and beautiful in every way including the design of the bedroom. The Japanese breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly and efficient. I would love to stay here again. The only issue may be a lack of restaurants nearby.

Tosei Hotel Cocone Kamakura is a beautiful hotel.
My bedroom was large - even larger than it looked in the photos, and extremely comfortable. It had anything one needs, including plenty of storage space. The pajama was nice and comfortable, and there was bottled water in the room.
I would have been very happy spending a few days there, but my stay in Kamakura was only one night, unfortunately.
The Ofuro isn't bad, but it was very crowded when I went, so I didn't enjoy that. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but they offer a free evening light meal and there are a variety of drinks available to the guests for free, which was rather wonderful.
The staff was welcoming and helpful.
I would go back in a heartbeat and I certainly recommend this hotel.
