A delightful place to stay that was excellent value for money. Booked the deluxe room with breakfast , the room was lovely and cozy and had everything needed for a most comfortable stay, a very comfy bed with great pillows!
The breakfast was fantastic and had a great choice available, we chose the veggie breakfast which was excellent, the cappuccino coffee very good! The staff were lovely , nothing was any trouble, they work very hard to make everything run like clockwork. We had an evening meal and that was excellent. The village there is extremely pretty and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again when we go up that way again.

Although the hotel has no life and we were on the top floor, our bags were taken up to our room by the staff. They were all very friendly and accommodating.

Although we generally enjoyed our stay and the food was lovely the big minus for us was room 5 a roof right at the window so totally blocked any view three monstrosities of units paper peeling and still in a mix of woodchip and anaglypta tatty paint peeling window i have attached photos so hopefully someone will act £200 a night!! Furniture totalling 18 drawers leaving nowhere to sit just a little wobbly plastic make up stool who needs 18 no drawers for a couple of nights and downstairs was set up really for dining with only 2 armchairs mostly taken i would respectfully suggest getting rid of the units and keeping one and replacing with a couple of armchairs so people can relax and read so finally id say always ask to bypass room 5 there is great potential in this inn but sadly if room 5 is a typical room then a refubishment is needed

We really enjoyed our stay at the falcon, the food and the service were both excellent. We have already recommended it to several other others.

A relaxing short stay at the Painswick Hotel.we have been to Painswick a number of times, so this was our first stay at The Painswick.
Staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, to ensure our stay was a good one. The manager was extremely knowledgable and informative regarding Balfour Wines, which assistanced us greatly with our selection.

Staff were excellent, attentive and friendly. The room was comfortable as was the bed. English breakfast included was delicious and served quickly, customer service from the breakfast waitress was excellent.
Evening meal again was really good. The only downside for me was a bit of road noise as I had a room at the front, the blind in the room let in a lot of sunlight very early in the morning and I couldn’t get normal TV channels on the TV( that may have been me not being able to work the complicated controls but all I could find was LG internet channels.) which was annoying to miss the Euros matches that evening.

Lovely stay at the Suite Balfour Brut Rose room. Very spacious. Luxurious feel, clean and the bed, beddings and mattress very very good, comfortable and clean. Full english breakfast also good. The roast dinner can be improved, taste-wise but overall we had a lovely stay. Thank you to the staffs who attended to us. Special mention to Hannah.

Room was clean and at first glance impressive but no bath tub no dressing table and mirror and bed gave me bad backache. Main building and bar/reception smelt bad and needs total upgrade looked grubby. Not impressed at all

Lovely hotel, great little village location, the room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, the room was cleaned and fresh towels given daily and the tea/coffee and biscuits were restocked too, breakfast each morning was delicious and we had an evening meal on our last night, all the staff were friendly, polite and attentive. The Manager was lovely and gave us some spots to go visit, we have absolutely loved visiting the Cotswolds and when we visit again we will definitely be using this hotel, thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful little town steeped in history. Fabulous location. Gorgeous room and exceptionally delicious dinner.

Pros: good value for money, friendly staff, comfortable, good size room, lovely breakfast.
Cons: shower was bad, barely any water pressure and the holder wouldn’t keep the shower up so had to hold it, couple bulbs were either out or flashing. We were on the ground floor and could hear every movement from the room upstairs which was quite annoying.

This was a lovely BnB in the most charming town in England I've had the opportunity to visit. The inn is right across from a beautiful church adorned with 99 sculpted yew trees. Food and service were great. Highly recommend.

I had a very enjoyable stay at the Falcon. My top floor room was a good size and very nicely presented and overlooked the church and gardens. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. The staff were friendly and helpful, my full English breakfast.was good

Lovely place to stay. Beautifully furnished and maintained. As a Northerners, some of the menu choices were not to our taste, but the pub classics were good. Breakfast was good.

Some blemishes around the room, Wi-Fi and smart tv didn’t really worry. Shower pressure was absolutely shocking. But overall a lovely hotel. Just not worth the price we paid.

Excellent condition, modern facilities, very nice decor
Great customer service
Issue: I was informed, pre booking, that room service was available. Very important aspect and turned out this was false, no room service was available.
I ordered dinner, albeit, very near to kitchen closing time, and charged £18 for a meal that was thrown together in less than 5 mins and tasted awful. A shame as the staff and general customer service was excellent.

We were in Room 8 and that had a very Tired Mattress poor nights sleep for 3 nights the shower in the room was also a trickle and poor

It's a quiet, small hotel with large comfortable rooms. The water pressure in the shower was adequate and there was plenty of hot water. The room was a bit hot, but we were able to open the window for some fresh air. Plenty of secure parking behind the hotel. The breakfast was delicious.

Room was nice , a bit over warm for us but a good size and a comfortable bed. Shower was a bit weak .
We also ate in the restaurant and that was mediocre . Service was very smiley but not very good and the food was distinctly ordinary . Would stay again but wouldn’t eat.

Painswick is an out of way village so to find an inn of this quality was well welcomed. Great food and drink and an interesting church right across the street. We would definitely stay here again.
