Hotel is a bit tired and used the pool which especially is due an upgrade - planned for the gym I think. Room very comfy although noisy from the corridor .
Nice hotel

The hotel was well maintained, good servive, good breakfast

Terrific staff. Very clean hotel. Lovely suite, quiet, bathroom could use updating. Nice restaurant, Starbucks on premises.

Excellent stay particularly with perfect service from jack who went above and beyond to make us comfortable as our waiter. Wonderful food especially when order taken by jack who brought sunshine into the room every time!

Staff very friendly, reception looked lovely decorated for Christmas. Rooms lovely and spacious.
Only let down is some of the condition of the rooms. With cracks and paint coming off, rust in the sink. It would be fantastic if these little bits were just kept on top of and updated.

Nice stay at Orida. Hotel is very convenient, easy parking. Rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely Christmas decorations in foyer.

The room looks a bit worn though clean. The beds are too hard on the back and the breakfast buffet was awful.

Good hotel. Bit pricey for just a room but did have the facilities avaiable if wanted hence the price i think. Restaurant food was good

Family visit
Good access to room which was pleasantly comfortable
Used room service a couple of times and this was very good
All staff very pleasant.
Hotel close to both motorway & town centre so pleased with that too.

Was easy to find, warm, welcoming. Clean. Lovely room. Great breakfast ( maybe some nicer bread, would've been 10 out of 10).

A very convenient location for our stay being close to the crematorium.
The staff were welcoming, efficient and friendly.
Our room was on the ground floor fairly close to the bar area and consequently was noisy until the early hours.
The room itself was spacious and comfortable but the shower over the bath was very erratic - which we remarked upon to the hotel
1.0 / 5.0
Cold room with only one electric radiator for heating which you were asked to switch off every time you left the room. Windows offered no heat or sound insulation.
Staff couldn't be bothered to assist in anyway, shape or form, and everything carried an additional charge.
Restaurant closed Friday & Saturday (despite receiving an email in advance suggesting reservations are made in advance). Bar only open if you were eating there, otherwise you had to order drinks in bar and take them to sit in Reception area (despite 'Bar' having only one table occupied). Person working at Starbucks outlet did more work serving, clearing & cleaning Reception than the 3 staff 'working' in 'Bar' put together. 'Bar' also had an unpleasant smell of chip fryer

Great hotel, brilliant staff. Very comfortable

Good location for the overflow county court. Hotel is a bit tired and smelt of potatoes in the corridors but the room was ok and very quiet.

Short stay to visit family. Very friendly staff on efficient check in.
Room was okay but people in neighbouring room quite noisy likewise people returning to their rooms late at night.

Nice location but confusing information about parking charges. The best thing was the well-equipped swimming pool, steam room and sauna. We went all the way just for these.

amazing for families with the kids, swimming pool for kids to play and sauna, steam room for grown ups to enjoy. As always clean and tidy room.

Family visit for one night
Check in easy
Comfortable bed
Nice spacious room
Breakfast set out well but the “hot” food was merely warm I’m afraid. We ate within 30 mins of breakfast serving finish so possibly food had been out for a while

Quiet despite being next to a busy road. Could be hot in summer as no air conditioning. Beds and pillows clean and comfortable.
Bathrooms need updating and are very worn out.
Breakfast good selection of gluten free.
Spa nice addition but needs better cleaning. Pool water cold.

Weekend family trip, lovely place to stay, lots to do around Maidstone, lovely breakfast but the bar is very expensive £33 for an orange juice, pint of beer and 2 gin & tonics! Ate in a local Weatherspoons 5 minutes away excellent value, great weekend!

Children enjoyed the swimming in the pool which is not to deep so is perfect for kids. Sauna and steam room for grown ups is in good condition.
Thanks

Tired building - comfy beds but bathroom floors and carpets are clearly ageing and dirty and paintwork is peeling. Room had a weird smell like a perfume had been used to cover the fact that it is old tired and musty. Windows are single pane and covered in condensation and are dirty. Corridors are so loud as every door slams shut even if you want to try and close it quietly. Pool facilities are not very well signposted and guest children cannot use pool after 7.30pm. This hotel is riding on its location rather than its own quality. Admittedly it wasn't that expensive but it wasn't good value for money. I will undoubtedly have to use it again for business purposes as there are so few hotels to serve the Maidstone area but its time for a full revamp it really is.

It was a lovely hotel, staff very helpful and friendly, will be staying again

Reception and bar areas were nice enough, room was a bit tired and dated.
2.5 / 5.0
Huge hotel in need of updating furniture & decor, sockets near beds, complimentary water, snacks,
Noisy guests, and arguments between couples after 2am no intervention from staff!
Bed comfortable!

Bed wasn’t very comfortable and doors banging lots during the night but not the hotels fault regarding the noise

I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the state of the room my family and I stayed in during our recent visit. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was far below what we expected and well beneath any acceptable standard.
Upon entering the room, we were immediately struck by the dust covering the furniture and surfaces. The air quality in the room was so poor that it made it difficult for my family, including my two six-year-old children, to sleep properly. This alone is unacceptable, but the worst part was discovered in the bathroom.
The shower curtain was in a horrendous state, completely covered in what appeared to be blood. The entire curtain was stained and filthy, making it impossible for us to even consider using the shower. This sight was extremely disturbing and shocking for us, especially considering we had young children in the room.
The experience was so distressing that we will never be staying at Orida Hotel again. I feel it is important to bring this matter to your attention to ensure that no other guests have to go through what we did.
I hope you take immediate action to rectify these issues for future guests. However, for us, this was truly a disgusting and unforgettable experience for all the wrong reasons.

I would like to say a special thank you to a lady called Katherine. I booked the wrong dates for my business stay i contacted the hotel direct and she changed the dates free of charge. Unlike Hotels.com who were going charge me an extra £50 per room. Which still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

It’s looking a little tired and could do with a refresh

Great stay, we enjoyed our break there.

What a dump. Staff are nice enough but the place is tired, grubby and the photos taken to advertise it are a proper catfish job. Had a prostitute working her business in the room next door and a sizeable dog turd outside the bedroom window. Won’t be back

Lovely hotel and facilities, Had a meal in the restaurant for 3 adults and 1 child which came to £98 we had no starters and only 1 dessert and one drink each, my son paid and £10.90 service charge was added without asking, The glass of wine was over £8! Bit pricey for Maidstone and overall.

We were celebrating our 2 daughters birthdays (4 and 6). The hotel and pool were lovely and the girls really enjoyed the birthday decorations made up in the room. Thank you so much!

Nice hotel - good location - the hotel was busy and we weren't able to book a table for dinner due to an event although there was many restaurants local. The swimming pool team were accommodating towards our needs.
We booked breakfast and the restaurant was very busy again - had to clear a table for our party which was frustrating and there was a wait as the buffet was empty. Had to pay £5 per car which was advertised so frustrating

In the swimming pool the paint is coming off on the ceiling and it is not clean.
And it's just old and could use a restyling.
Bathroom was also not clean in our room.
Furthermore, it is strange that you also have to pay 5 pounds per day for parking.
The price of a room is said to include everything, but that is not correct.
price-quality is hard to find

We stopped overnight on our way to Le Shuttle. Huge room and bathroom. Very clean. Comfortable bed . Didn’t eat here since cannot comment. Didn’t have breakfast which we considered too expensive and instead went to M&S next door . Parking costs an extra £5 which I always find very annoying if I am booking a hotel. Receptionist in the evening was not very friendly which is why 4 stars but morning receptionist was very cheerful .

It was a lovely hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The down side it was a bit tired, I was in room 226 and the plug was rusted, bath stained but clean if that makes sense. The tables at dinner time were still full of glasses and plates from previous diners but that’s it, not a massive massive deal but more of a get that right and 5 star all the way. Would definitely stay again though. I didn’t use any of the facilities

Good breakfast, good sized rooms, facilities like swimming pool and gym to keep kids and adults busy.
Commutable time of 1 hour to Whitstable, 20 minutes to Leeds Castle.
Lots of parking available around the hotel.
