Very nice, updated hotel. I was unaware that this hotel was also a timeshare, so the "upselling" caught me off guard. As i was evacuating from Florida during a hurricane, i was unwilling to attend the "sales share" but was charged for it.

This is a good hotel for a longer term stay. The suite is basically an apartment with a full kitchen dining area, large seating area and a large bedroom and located in downtown Atlanta

So first off the staff from Valet to Front desk to random folks working were 100% friendly and great. The room was large and clean and colorful. No complaints there at all! We had a kitchen and fridge, burner, etc etc. The problem is that it's considered a "resort" and there is basically no resort! There's an amazing rooftop bar which was closed both days we were there. 1 day, Sunday it was just closed per schedule (uh ok it's a resort so it should be open) the next day it was closed because um...it was cloudy??? Not really sure. So to get a beer I went to the Margaritaville restaurant. 1 beer and 1 glass of wine was 28 dollars. I wouldn't have cared if it was on the rooftop deck with the views and the pool but it was just out on the dirty street. When I booked it I didn't realize it was a Margaritaville and almost cancelled when I found out. In fact my first emails never mentioned this so I assume it's under new ownership. Oh and as a Margaritaville they try to pitch you a time share presentation. Hotels.com should really ban this from their site. They weren't pushy though when I said no. Ok let's talk area. This part of Atlanta is nasty and empty and dirty. There are barely any restaurants and the ones that exist arent good. However it's close to Venus. Staff was amazing!! Corporate must be brain dead to think this is somehow a tropical resort destination. I'm hesitant writing this since the staff was great and we all know corporate will blame them.

It was a nice setup, the room was equipped with everything you need to cook if need be. Fully equipped with a sink and dishwasher, with a midsize fridge. Full set of dishes, pots, utensils. Also super close to plenty of bars and restaurants. The view was nice. The only issue was the ac, it made an annoying sound. Could’ve just been my unit but idk. Still a nice hotel for sure! I’ll be back.

Hotel is very nice. Location is convenient to touristy stuff. Trip was marred by how they handled their timeshare presentation. They scheduled a "group tour" at check in. I asked directly, "is thie a timeshare sales pitch" to which i was told "no, management just wants to give you a tour". Of course when we got to the thing, it was a timeshare sales pitch so we walked out.

Very convenient spot if you are attending a convention or a football game and want to get there by walking. Margarita-ville themed properties are always fun. My standard room was very spacious and open.

Our stay was great as usual, the staff is always so friendly and helpful. The only issue was in the master bedroom (room 1121). The shower was clogged and the bedroom door didn’t close all the way, the toilet seat was loose, oh and no margarita mix for the blender ;D just kidding on the last on! Other than that it’s always great to stay with you guys!

Very roomy, suite with kitchenette - well equipped and super clean and quiet - laundry on site - they give you laundry detergent, brand new washers and dryers on each floor with secure access door. Loved staying here - on Olympic Park near a lot of restaurants and conf. center.

Hotel and staff itself are excellent - even if valet is a bit pricy. Rooms are spacious, laundry facilities are wonderful. The downtown Atlanta area has a homeless problem and there was literally feces on the sidewalks - not sure if from horses or human. We used the Valet entrance to avoid vagrants. Would recommend some soundproofing between bathroom and bedroom/living areas and a bathroom fan for noise and smell ventilation. Biggest issue was we could hear everything that happens in the bathroom throughout the room - enough to keep some awake at night. Another door, a fan, some sound damping, carpet/rugs, anything to absorb, deflect, or mask sound would be an improvement. Don't get me wrong, though - it's a NICE hotel, just bad design for this particular room/bathroom sound-wise. Another stay with 2 br/ 2bath didn't have this issue. Again, staff was incredibly helpful - especially Deontea in Valet, Tabasha Usher, and Shantelle Stewart who helped me prep for the trip and navigate a lost valet ticket.

This place is very nice!! We will definitely book here again. The price was affordable the location was convenient the staff was very helpful & SUPER friendly!! Valet was extremely helpful & always available wait times were long at times but the place is kinda busy We enjoyed the rooftop bar and pool it was very clean! The pool was nice with plenty of seating They have a DJ on Friday & Saturday night she did an excellent job keeping the crowd engaged. The restaurant Margaritaville was excellent the food was delicious the staff was friendly and the drinks were made just right (strong) Our room was very clean even the ceiling fans were clean and they are white ! The dishes were clean & there is everything you would need to cook a meal Grocery stores are nearby and they offer delivery services. Security is always present making the place seem safe overall our stay was very pleasing and we truly enjoyed ourselves

When I checked in I asked if there was any way we could get a room with a view, because I was traveling with kids, therefore we would be staying in the room in the evenings and not out late. The front desk staff replied that I would have to be lucky to get a room with a view. Apparently I was not lucky enough. That very day our assigned room flooded with water coming up through the wood floor and we had to be moved to another room. We were not even upgraded. The new room on the same floor had sheets that were stained and torn. We were given a $50 credit to use at the grab and go store in the lobby which is mainly just snacks and the like. A room upgrade or a reduction in our room rate would have been much better. We were also given a tiny gift basket with one coke bottle and some popcorn, even though there were four guests in the room. Definitely not staying at the Wyndham in downtown Atlanta again. The only thing we loved was the rooftop pool and the singer performing and playing acoustic guitar. She was phenomenal. The bartender originally from Venezuela at the rooftop pool bar was also great and made the most amazing Martini's.

Club Wyndham was perfect. Staff was very friendly and you couldn’t ask for a better location. Less than 10 minute walk to all major attractions. Very clean rooms and safe. I stayed with my wife and two young kids. They loved the pool on the 19th floor and the Ferris wheel next door! Only negative was that we stayed on 3rd floor and car traffic was quite loud. We brought a sound machine which helped.
