It was a very basic hotel but the room was small and to the atrium so very dark. Also the breakfast was illogical and very poor from other Scandic hotels selections.

OK hotel - men

First of all nobody told us that we have to pre-book the house keeping to clean the room even though we did not hang the "do not disturb card" on the door knob.
Secondly, no body told us that the car park was not free and they charged us 250 KK daily which was outrageous.
Third, you have to pre book the indoor pool usage and it is not free and children are only allowed in the weekends also ridiculous.
In summary, this is a business oriented hotel and definitely not suitable for families. I do not recommend to families.

the hotel itself was beautiful, modern and clean but the swimming pool policy is not made clear on the booking page , it is not for use by anyone under the age of 16 and as this was the only reason we booked this hotel for our family we were incredibly disappointed. 2/3 of the staff we encountered were rude, one was helpful

Good location, friendly staff, really good breakfast but a bit crowdy.

Lots of hidden fees and rules, cost for early checkin, luggage storage etc. No access to pool for kids under 16 (so please remove picture of pool for hotels.com)! Breakfast overcrowded. Showers so so...

We stayed from the 13/10 till 21/10.
The hotel had all the potential to be fabulous, from its design, location, numerous elevators, view etc..
But it failed at the most basic and fundamental core of hospitality - bad service.
The cold curt staff, being ordered coldly and sharply to leave the breakfast hall at 09:30 sharp though we reserved a table at 09:00, charging guests 50 euros for using the pool for just 2 hours, the reception NEVER answering the phone forcing the guests to physically go to the front desk, A/C in the room not working despite being told it does, being told a technician will check it out, a technician that never came despite reminding reception 3(!!) times and thus having to put up with a stuffy room all our stay, etc.. etc.. etc..
The general feeling was that our presence disturbed the routine, peace and quiet of the hotel staff.
Our sincerest apologies to them - we will not do so again.

This is the hotel for you if you want to be nickel & dimed. Chose because a swimming pool however additional charge of 295 DKK ($65 AUD / $43 USD) to swim. On check out 50 DKK ($10 AUD / $7 USD) to store suitcase for later in the day.

Very nice hotel in a good location
For Tivoli gardens. Breakfast Buffett was very nice good selection. As you may know Copenhagen is expensive , if you wanted an umbrella you had to rent it aaand if you need to leave your bags after checkout there is a charge for a locker 40-50 Krone depending on size of the locker , we also wanted to go for a swim with the grandchildren but the cost for a swim is ridiculous

Bathrooms suck. No place to put anything and showers always leak all over the floor. There is no door. Rooms are a bit smaller than you may expect.
1.5 / 5.0
The room was spacious but not comfortable. The small closet was located in a corner behind the door. The bathroom door would not stay open. There were not towels racks in the bathroom.
Nightstands are pretty small. There were not hooks to hang coats or bags.
The bathroom shower didn’t have any shelves. The glass enclosure had not the protection to prevent the water from escaping into the floor.. it doesn’t have any handles either.
A place can be eco friendly but at least have to have some facilities to make your room safe and comfortable.
In addition the area has no places around where you can go to eat or drink, and the hotel has only one restaurant with not too many options.

Check in was horrible, 40 people queue, took 25 min, people skipping line and hotel personel not doing anything. We thought it was just the day we checked in, but no, the day after the same phenomenon at the same time, around 16:30. Comfy rooms but the lightning is a mess, they try to do it with buttons and very modern but it’s not easy to manage. We asked for a double room, and the beds we not joined together, so it was impossible to sleep comfy as a couple. Breakfast Sunday morning was extremly crowded, and we could not get salt for the eggs, we lloked through the tBles for the shakers and all the salt ones were empty (we found 3) and when we asked an employee we was like: humm, this is chaos, sorry, and didn’t helped. I’ve stayed at scandic many times before and would highly recommend it, just not this scandic.

No slippers no toothbrush.

Very new and clean big hotel (1,500 beds, I think). Excellent service, friendliness from all staff.
Great for sleeping and breakfasting (which closes a bit too early).

Disappointed with the room assigned - no view , looking at the 100 windows of the hostel opposite. During the check in, the staff told us it has a nice view. The view from the room nothing like it advertised .
Room lighting system not that complicated just need a bit of time to understand the layout however the ac control was totally not working, the room was very warm, no fresh air. No ventilation in bathroom make it very stuffy after use.
Breakfast - war zone! Hotel management need to do something , there’s no control at all. The choices were basic ! They just repeated the same food again in every corner. Half of the coffee machines not working , long queue for coffee !
Lifts were slow , to serve the amount of guests stay in the hotel, you better have some patience !
Junior suite room size was good , hotel location a nice walk to/from station and other busy area.

This is actually a fairly nice hotel with decent rooms and a good breakfast buffet at this price point. It’s just that the front desk was so poor that it really affected to the overall experience. Checking in took over a half an hour and in the end we were handed a wrong room. The worst was when we were charged an extra charge at the check out for no reason known nor given.

Check In at 1600.
I arrived at 1300 and had to wait until 1600.
During this time approximately 50 persons checked in and got their room immediately.
Worst check in i had since 20 years and i have around 120-150 overnights per year.
Not acceptable!!!

The number of staffs are not enough compared to the number of guests. Many people were waiting at the reception desk.

Probably the best hotel in Scandinavia that I stayed at on this trip. Clean, great location, affordable, amazing breakfast, friendly staff. Top notch.

Our room was very cold and it wasn’t possible to adjust the temperature. Called the reception and they sent a technician who installed a very loud heather so we had to leave the room for a couple of hours until the rom was a little bit warmer. When we used the shower the drain was clogged so the water level in the shower became unhygienic. Normally a Scandic hotel is okey but we believe they have maintain this hotel better.

The lighting system in the room is awful
They would turn off and on at random times
Very frustrating

Breakfast was chaos and the pool/spa was completely booked. Apart From that it was good.

Very clean hotel, not far from anything. Everything is situated near by or east walking distance. The rooms are clean, be prepared these are not like American hotels but they are great and what is needed for your stay. The beds are so comfortable, I slept so well. The bathrooms are great, a wonderful hotel. Oh and the breakfast has so much to offer.

The hotel is great. To spa is over the top amazing. We stayed here twice in the last month and both times swam in the pool and took advantage of the sauna and all that it’s pampering can wrap a person in luxury 2 hour sessions. Kim was the best and an amazing host. But the restaurant staff wasn’t great. It felt as if you were bothering them both downstairs and up. We ate there as well. I’d give it satisfactory rating. The breakfast is amazing!!!! Over the top. Just need the bar staff to smile.

Was an ordinary place. Lots of things, such as no bathmat in spite of the rather open shower, no coffee machine in the room, no facial tissues or lotion, no wake-up call available. I could go on, but basically we’d have enjoyed more of those little things, for the price we paid.

The pool and sauna was amazing, although there was a fee it was well worth it. Hotel is clean and modern. The included breakfast had a great selection. It was a bit of a walk to the shopping, but still in a great location where you are right by the canal and close to the Harbour bus. Staff is super friendly.

We loved our stay at Scadic Spectrum. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was great. We enjoyed being close to Tivoli and all the other nearby sights and attractions.

After traveling with 3 years old baby in middle of the night and arrive to the hotel around 12.00 p.m. and you can get your room 16.00. We asked because we were so tired to have it sooner, well no you need to pay for those extra 3-4 hours around 106 euros and you have 3 years old baby, we ask can you store our luggage, yes that cost also so we ended to pay the room. We need to order the breakfast before 11.00 pm for next day all the days we were staying there, also we need to order cleaning, no one came to clean because I just asked for towels, after 2 days I asked the girl could please give us towels and take our dirty glasses and vacu the snack on the floor that our little girl missed on the floor no one came to clean, but gave us the towels though :) I would never reccomend this hotel and the breakfast caos was crazy.

The hotel is lovely and clean. However when I booked one of the reasons was for the pool. However u could not use the pool unless u booked and paid a ridiculous amount. This really should have been relayed before booking.
No kettle facilities in the room and I was gobsmacked to find I had to pay to leave my luggage as arrived at hotel 2 hours before check-in. I have never expeienced this before. Its a shame all these hidden costs were there as it would put me off staying what otherwise would have been a lovely stay.

The hotel is clean and the room was good. However, the hotel is big and clearly a congress hotel - don’t expect a personal excellent customer service. The personnel handles the different tasks by routine and they are not interested in what YOU think. Examples: the check in starts at 4pm and once we arrived at 11am they said that ”we have a room ready but if you want early check in you need to pay approx 50eur or either you can leave the luggage here and come later on”. What they didn’t say was that the luggage room was charged as well. Also they could have formulated it ”if you want an early check-in, we can make a room ready for you”. Also one of our pillows was smelling sweat and when we told about it, they came and said ”you complained about the pillow?”. Using ”complain” felt that we as a customer did something wrong. We were just two nights so we might had just bad luck here. By the way, renting umbrellas cost as well…
Breakfast could be much better. It is abundant but the quality of the ingredients and things are not good in my opinion considering we are in Denmark and compared to the price.
GYM and wellness area are good and wellness area is worth to pay and visit.

It is as it was presented on their website and that is good enough for me.
