Great accomodation for a week long stay. The location is perfect with access to multiple subway trains into Manhattan and to JFK, as well as many options for food and drink. The room was clean and spacious, especially the bathroom. Great having access to kitchen facilities even though we didn't end up using it much. Staff was helpful and the complimentary luggage storage was appreciated!

Nice and helpful staff👍
4.0
Property was conveniently located and staff were friendly.
The surrounding area was dirty and I struggled to receive a final bill as I booked through Expedia.
5.0
The room was surprisingly big and very clean. I loved having a little kitchenette to cook and save money. Staff was extremely welcoming and willing to help. Even after check out they let me store my bags so it was really stress free. The windows in the room were big and had lots of natural light. I loved my stay i can’t wait to come back again

Miserable self-service check in and other functions required too much private info, filling out questionnaires, tech doesn’t work requiring long phone calls and procedures just to check in. Spending too much time on a cumbersome process to extend check out. Never again.
2.0
Right next to the 7 train, very noisy and cannot sleep at night.
2.0
The shower curtain smells disgusting. A male tall staff with glasses has a rude attitude.
5.0
The room is clean. Restaurant, supermarkets and bars close. Neighborhood felt very safe. Transportation is very close, and the nearest train station has elevator.

Too much auto email. I was trying to contact before i arrived but was never able to get through. However, once we arrived,.there was a staff person 24/7 to assist us. All the lobby staff were grest.

Wonderful place. We will stay again.

The property was amazing, but the elevators were dirty.

Extremely nice apartment, fantastic location close to the subway and eateries. Full fridge, kitchen and very spacious for a nyc hotel room. Only complaint was low water pressure and no hot water (most generous would be to describe it as tepid) on both days. Somewhat disappointing given that everything else is so nice; hopefully it’s a temporary thing and will be fixed soon. I would stay here and in Sonder flats again.
3.0
its furnishings are terrible. Desks inside the room are worn out, and the walls and ceilings of the two rooms and the living room bear a lot of holes and cracks. Its pipes are exposed in the living room. The water flows away from the basin and bath tub slowly. Overall impression it is renovated from an industrial unit, like storage vault. I lodged my concern via phone and email with photos to Sonders on the 1st day, but with no reply up to now.

Nice accommodations, clean, nice amenities, excellent soundproofing and lighting, well maintained, needs interior painting, bathroom shelves wobbly, onsite staff not as we were told. Excellent security. Had a very enjoyable stay.

We stayed in Long Island City to escape the Manhattan madness in the evenings, Sonder Court Square is in a great location, next to x4 subway lines, can be in Manhattan in 5mins on the 7 train.
Near by there is a Target, Trader Joes, laundromat & lots of nice cafes.
The room itself was nice, lots of room, comfortable bed.
For longer stays having to pay $50 to get your room made up was disappointing, staying at Sonder is not cheap, for example we are spending the 2nd half of our trip in lower manhattan, the cost of our hotel is very similar & we get fresh towels & sheets everyday.
Another issue was the noise from the trains & the air conditioning unit was very loud.
Not a deal breaker though, if we were to come back to NY we would stay again, loved the slower pace of Long Island City, felt very safe.

Excellent clean room. Courteous staff

Nothing to say, other then extremely poor communication and terrible cleanliness overall.

Comfort and high tech facilities with 2 bedrooms. I can cook and feels so at home with my whole family

Great location next to the train to get downtown. We were a little worried about noise being so close but we couldn't hear the train at all inside the room. The diner across the street had good food and was charming.

Good hotel. Enjoyed the independence it offered and being close to the metro was great - albeit i was fortunate enough not to be kept awake by the trains! The hotel does provide ear plugs and a background sound machine which is thoughtful. TV was limited, complicated to use. Some of the plugs were a bit hit & miss but once we worked out which ones did work, it wasnt a problem. We were also lucky enough to have an upper level room with a partial view of the Manhattan skyline, which was worth the price of admission on its own! A more than servicable hotel in a good location in Queens, just 2 stations from Grand Central, i'd definitely stay there again.

Hubby and I had a very nice stay. Clean, very spacious, not too noisy. If the windows are open, the subway is loud but there’s really no need to have the windows open since AC/heat is in unit. White noise machine and earplugs are offered for the very light sleepers who can’t handle a low rumble sound of the subway when I comes through. It almost became relaxing for us. Just another sound from a busy city. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again. Can’t beat the quality and amount of space you get for the price.

I always stay at Sonder Court Square whenever I visit NYC for work. It is located in the proximity of mid-town, while better for resting. The staff is accommodating whenever I need something. The inquiry is always resolved within half an hour. I cannot think of staying at properties other than here in NYC.

The apartment is very spacious and clean, and the beds are comfortable. Also the location is great...BUT ONE BIG ISSUE we had was with the noise and shaking from the subway train that passed by several times an hour all through the night. It was not pleasant trying to sleep through this, even with earplugs. My boyfriend was able to fall asleep only after having a lot of drinks. We would not stay here again. If you need your sleep and are a light sleeper I would not recommend staying here.

The area is super convenient and walkable, room was super clean and comfy. We enjoyed our stay greatly!

Unlike regular hotels, it has a spacious kitchen and living area. It is perfect for an extended stay.

I stayed 6 nights here and loved it. It felt like I was living in a luxury studio apartment in NYC!
4.0
The property was a large studio apartment with kitchen, shower, Roku TV, and king bed. I was on the 6th floor facing the main street (Jackson St), but due to cold weather and closed windows, noise was not an issue. The location is directly across the street from te Court Square subway station (7, E, G trains) which was super convenient. Traders Joe's kitty corner from the apartment as is the Court Square Diner. Check-in and check-out were easy. Check-out, you just leave-no need to deal with the trash, towels, sheets, etc. I was able to get an earlier check-in by 90 mins for an extra $25 which was very helpful. Two issues. One was very minor. The mobile key did not work for me for some reason. Had to manually enter the code at the front door, elevator and room each time. A little annoying. The other issue frustrated me. The main kitchen light uses a smart sensor light switch which was programmed to turn on the lights every 20 mins. I left shortly after checking in and didn't make it back to the apartment the first night until after midnight. I went to bed and all of a sudden the lights turned on by themselves. I turned them off, then same thing happened 2 more times before I realized it was programmed that way. Why? Makes no sense. I did get on the Sonder app and started a chat. Someone replied about 5 mins later. I only got partially correct information. About 3:30am I was able to figure out how to set it so it would not turn back on. Very good stay otherwise.

We can start with an amazing view of Manhattan, very easy access to the subway line that leads directly to Times Square in Grand Central. So we’re good options for restaurants in the area, Trader Joe’s with a very short walking distance. Quite safe neighborhood, all the staff were exceptionally helpful. Truly will stay here again

This place is really nice. I travel to NYC for work all the time and for the $$$ you cant beat it. You are basically getting a NYC apartment for the price of a hotel room. Parking on the street for free is a bit tricky but there is a garage one street over.

Great room. Very convenient for us.

I am strongly recommend this hotel.
All about room was totally perfect
Especially in NYC, metro access and status are really important.
MTA 7 line is super convenient to access almost all sight seeing spit and other line too.
They have QUIET TIME 10p-8a.
I think all guests are keep this rules.
That's also why I was comfortable to staying.
You should try here if you want to enjoy NYC without stress!
Totally it was amazing stay.
I would like to staying in SONDER every country.

Unique property without traditional hotel lobby or concierge, digital lock on front door, elevator and room. Location was superb, room was spacious, clean and comfortable with style. Kitchen and large refrigerator for longer-stay travelers is a plus.

Il personale addetto alla portineria è sempre stato molto disponibile e cortese, fornendo un supporto puntuale e utile.
Invece, il servizio clienti, sollecitato via mail prima del nostro arrivo, ci è sembrato un po' lungo nella risposta.

The location is excellent. 3 metro stations within easy walking distance of the property. Every thing worked as new. Lovely hot shower perfect after a day exploring NY. We cooked 1 meal and went to a local restarunt for 1 and a dinner for 1. It was summer and the Air Con worked well (slept with the quilt on). Bed was firm with pillow top. Recvd access codes for building and room 2 days before arrival. Plenty of car parking stations around but we managed to score a free street park(read the signs and watch for fire hydrants). Excellent value all around.
