This was a very comfortable and clean place for the 2 of us. Very convenient to all that Lafayette and the surrounding area has to offer. It was great having outside space right on the bayou to enjoy. Would definitely stay there again!

The Azalea house fit us perfectly. We loved the open concept of the kitchen and living area. Everything was clean and ready to be used. The fire pit was nice and relaxing. Ample wood to be burned. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely request to stay again.

Really nice place to stay. In an excellent location to allow for short drive times to get to many restaurants and shopping areas. Walmart within 2 miles. Easy access to Hwy 90 the throughway of Lafayette. Owner had ice ready for use in the freezer; enjoyed this for our cocktail hour! Really comfortable bed. Perfect for a couple. Stayed 3 nights. Best place to stay in Lafayette, LA.

The beauty of the property is matched by an unparalleled attention to detail. The high quality of everything from the pot holders to the bath towels is part of the charm that makes this property feel like a home. The kitchen was even stocked with our favorite drinks and snacks. We were allowed an early check-in and late check-out. It was a delight from start to finish. I'm already planning to return!

Nice and relaxing place to stay. Loved the swing and fire pit. The inside was clean. We had a storm over us and power went out. I called the host and he contacted power company and let us know how long it woud take for power to be restored. He also was going to bring generator to us if power did not come on quickly. They were concerned about and cared that we did not have power. Great Host! If I come to Lafayette again. I will book here again.

The cottage is the perfect getaway for singles or couples. I thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit , as well as the wrought iron swing that overlooks the river. Everything was exactly as described, and the hosts are so friendly and communicate very well. I'll definitely be back.

Sweet little cottage perfect for 1-2 people. Lovely claw foot bathtub to take a hot bubble bath in. Fully stocked kitchen to cook in if you are so inclined. The grounds were lovely to explore and plenty of outdoor seating places. 10/10 would stay here again.

My wife stayed here a couple of months ago so we went back together. The home was darling and very conveniently located. Since it is a house, we would like to see a small vacuum to tidy up as well as a few fish rags to clean individual items when necessary. It would also be nice to have a grill at the fire pit area. Would definitely recommend.

For our 2 night stay in Lafayette, we chose Cottage on the Bayou due to its wooded setting and location on the bayou. It's a recently remodeled historic cottage that was spotless, tastefully decorated and very comfortable for two people. It allowed easy access to downtown, restaurants and the airport. The owners were extremely helpful, providing excellent information and prompt communication. They helped with restaurant recommendations and with locating live music venues. The welcome snacks were tailored to our preferences! The kitchen provided what's needed for simple meal prep and a dishwasher, which is a nice amenity. The bed, bedding and furniture were very comfortable.

The outdoor swing overlooking the water was nice. I loved making an outdoor fire in the nice fire pit with comfortable sitting areas. I was close to in proximity to my meeting but secluded at the same time! Overall, I would definitely book another stay!

This one-bedroom cottage is situated near Vermillion bayou. The location provides easy access to Lafayette's bars, restaurants, and stores while also offering privacy and spot to enjoy the bayou. The hosts were super responsive to my questions. I enjoyed the visit and would happily stay there again.

Was very nice, peaceful. Kinda of small shower for an adult. Cooking was very hot inside the room, oven heats up, sets off fire alarms no ventilation to escape house.
