Great unit! Everything was provided for a comfortable stay, and it's dog-friendly too. The views of Puget Sound are amazing, with a quiet and calm atmosphere. While the patio can get a bit noisy due to the restaurant venting outside, it's a very minor issue. The location is also close to First Nations cultural sites, like the museum. Sully’s restaurant below serves some fantastic food as well. Will definitely come back!

The Tides Out Loft was a great little place! Super clean, updated decor and amenities and the location is wonderful! Great morning views!

Loved being close to the water and tribal activities, would rate 5 stars if it wasn’t for the restaurant venting right outside the door.

The property was clean and well appointed. Pretty simple but perfect for a couple. Could be good if you had one child especially a small one. The location was close (driving) to a great deal of the eastern Olympic Peninsula.

The view, location, and the welcoming community. This is a place you would love staying if you wanted to getaway with your family or a loved one.

The place is situated right next to the water. Has a great view and we saw porpoises and seals from the table! Easy to get to Bainbridge and many other places on Kitsap Peninsula. Also close
to the Suquamish tribe museum and Chief Seattle grave. Sullys is a fine place to dine at and the shut down early so the evening is real quiet there. Has all basic kitchen stuff to make meals and a small dishwasher as well. Great for a couple or small family and dog friendly is excellent!

The place is cute and pretty much as listed. Loved the view of the water! We could see Mt. Rainier from the local dock.
My pet peeve is there were no extra kitchen trash bags. So, we had to empty trash into shopping bags for disposal during our stay.
I contacted the property management several times and their response, other than "local staff will reach out to me shortly" (which they never did) was to say that they don't provide extra supplies. There were extra toilet paper and paper towels: why not bags? If your staff ran out, I'd respect you more just saying so rather than the bluff.
Trash bags along with toilet paper and paper towels are staples. Trash bags should be provided, at least 2 or 3 for a week. There was no recycling, other than cardboard, so our plastic went in the dumpster also.

The Tides Out Loft has a lot of positive amenities. It was spacious and clean with laundry facilities on site, two types of coffee and tea, very good cooking facilities and dish ware. The bed was spacious and comfortable. We did not watch the televisions, but there were two large screens available. The sitting room had comfortable seating as did the deck which was useful for when our guests came over. Shampoo and conditioner of various types were available as were various types of soap and liquid body wash. The bed was large and comfortable. There were kayaks and life jackets out front, close to a launch and a dock. Sully's restaurant was delightly with great food and service. We hope to be back in the future and we will use Tides Out Loft if it is available and highly recommend it.

It was a last minute booking for me and my almost two-year-old son. The location was great — walking distance to the park/playground and a short drive to Poulsbo, Bainbridge island Kids Discovery Museum, and other family-friendly attractions. The place itself was also very convenient to stay with a tiny tot — quite a lot of space, not much of a decor (parents will understand), pack-and-play and a booster chair available. The bed was so comfy — we woke up well rested every morning. We also enjoyed the view on a sunny day.
We did experienced a few setbacks during our stay: firstly, the restaurant exhaust pipe located just next to the deck was somewhat smelly and noisy; secondly, there was a trailer occupying the parking lot that made it a bit challenging for us to park. Otherwise the place was just perfect for our needs and made our stay in Suquamish relaxing (as much as it can be with a toddler).

The view from this place is great. But ... everything else is kind of a bummer. We wound up leaving after one night for a few reasons:
1 - The property is above a restaurant/bar (that apperantly is owned and operated by the same family) and is directly above the walk in freezer. This meant anytime someone walked in or out of the freezer there was a loud bang and it would shake the apartment
2 - The place didn't feel clean. There were gross brown cobwebs between the window and the shades. The air con unit in the bedroom smelt like someone had been smoking for a long time in the unit. There were raid traps throughout the house and most of the available cups and plates were not clean.
3 - The kitchen exhaust from the restaurant (where they do a lot of fried food, based on the smell) is right outside the unit, so you have a nice hazy cloud of smelly "air" right outside your door.
4 - there is a door they show in the photos I assumed was a second door to the unit. It is, but it goes to the rest of the building/restaurant so it's a little creepy since the lock controls are on the other side of the door.
5 - the ice maker is also below the unit so you get to hear whenever the bar runs out of ice and they need to scoop more
6 - the mattresses were great, but the pillows weren't so it negated that. They were also old and looked ... not clean.
7 - First thing you see when you get in is a thing about reporting damage to the unit and how important it is. Then in the bedroom one of the blinds was broken and unusable.
8 - The owner is a realtor and left a stack of her cards which just seemed kind of tacky. This was also mentioned on the only "instructions" for the house - which were basically to go to their restaurant - but no other folder or notices about the house.
9 - The coffee machine was there, but the coffee left there was an old and NEARLY empty bag of starbucks coffee. It would not have made a whole pot, and also could not have been fresh.
If the weather had been better maybe we would have toughed it out but we couldn't handle a day of "relaxing" in the house with the freezer door constantly slamming. The location really is great, but the unit itself just had too many issues.

I loved everything about this house. The bed was huge and comfortable, it was decently priced, has two huge tvs, a nice kitchen, and the best part…. Awesome water pressure in a big bathroom. Perfect for me who was on a work trip, doing a concrete pour

Overall the place is great! We loved the view, Scullys, and comfort.
The only "negatives" were the washing machine is ridiculously loud and the pet hair left by others, I guess.
The ferry to Seattle is nearby and an experience to remember for us. Poulsbo was a great place to spend a day and also nearby. We enjoyed walking through the neighborhood. This really is a beautiful place!

This property was exactly what we had hoped for & perfect for our needs. My father & I were visiting our family in Poulsbo, & we had a lovely time at this property. The porch overlooking the water was amazing & we even got to watch harbor porpoises from the dining room table (bring binoculars)!
If you like hummingbirds, you are in luck! The properties on both sides have feeders & we saw multiple hummingbirds flying around, especially in the evenings.
This property is on the Suquamish reservation, & the tribal dock/boat launch is right outside the door. The tribal museum is just up the street, & is worth visiting to learn the history of the Suquamish people & the area.
There is a restaurant downstairs, which was convenient. Be aware that the porch may smell like frying fish while the restaurant is open.
The separate sleeping areas were much appreciated, especially when you're trying to avoid listening to the other person's snoring. The apartment was clean & had separate AC units in the livingroom & bedroom, which was nice. The closet is huge, & there was a portable playpen & highchair, if you're traveling with a baby. We would definitely stay here again, & are grateful for the memories we made while staying here.
