My Family was so amazed at the mountain scenery and priceless memories it afforded us. Most people have never heard the amazing silence of nature after the small children had turned in for the night. The bear sighting was numerous and very up in your face for amazing photos. Just beware of leaving food or the odor of food in your vehicle. We had two vehicles entered into by bears but no damages were incurred. Also, the mosquitoes will eat you alive if you don’t have any insect repellent.

Very beautiful home and view. Enjoyed our stay

This is a beautiful cabin with fantastic views, but a 20+ minute drive to Gatlinburg or any other stores. So, take lots of food and supplies. The area is very quiet. Even though there are 7 bedrooms, some are nicer than others which is shown in the property description. The last minute notification of the exact address is not great, but we had no significant issues and would book this cabin again.

Great place for a family vacation stay. Everyone had a bedroom with a bathroom. The game room was a hit with the kids. Overall, great.

The overall stay was great. Location what wasn’t we expected because we had to drive up the mountain but that wasn’t a problem because it comes with booking the cabins. We had some bedding and mattress protectors that need to be replaced in some of the rooms. They were stained really bad. There’s some mold growing on the ceiling in the upstairs bathrooms and it was pretty dusty throughout the cabin. As a cleaning company owner myself it was clear that the cleaning crew is not as thorough as they should be when doing a turnover for the next guest. Even though we had these few issues we would book again. The location of the cabin was in a beautiful spot to view the gorgeous mountains. The check in process was also smooth and seamless. We had no issues there. The owners of the cabin also text throughout the stay to make sure that the stay was pleasant.

The view was spectacular!
The cabin was spacious and had amenities that please adults and teens. But the view was spectacular. It’s a little difficult to get to especially if it snows, but the snow happened after we got there and was beautiful against the backdrop of the mountain.

Beautiful views!
Beautiful cabin with plenty of space for our large group of adults to gather as a group and also have personal space. Appointed with everything you could need. Excellent communication throughout process and views were magnificent!

Smoky Mountain Getaway
The cabin is gorgeous and has lovely views. It is very well equipped. We were there during a hundred year snow/ice storm and had an issue with the heat. The owner was responsive and got it repaired the next day. We enjoyed all the space inside to hang out and be together. Some additional cleaning would freshen up the home, but highly recommend if you have a big group and love nature.

Cabin was amazing and the views were outstanding!
Our family of 13 loved our stay at Cabin Fever. The views were breathtaking and the cabin was spacious and enjoyed by all. We had so much fun preparing Thanksgiving dinner as a family in a very well stocked kitchen! We waited two years for this vacation and we were all very sad to leave. Our granddaughter asked if we can come back next Thanksgiving. Thank you Brian for making our dream vacation come true!

Spectacular Cabin Stunning Views
This was a great Cabin for a large group. Plenty of bedrooms and baths and space for a large group to be together. Also plenty of privacy.
You will not find mountain views like this at very many cabins even in this area. The views of the park were fabulous. Highly recommend!
Owners and agent were kind and responsive.

Cabin Fever Review Nov 4-8
Very nice property and view. Rooms very nice and Grandkids loved the games.
There were a few Maintenance issues. Burned out bulbs (at least one essential) and one toilet running constantly.
Great stay and would use again.

Great family stay at Cabin Fever
Our family of 14 had a great stay at cabin fever. The cabin is gorgeous and the view is like no other! There was plenty of room for everyone to gather for meals and hang time together. There was also plenty of room to spread out for sleeping and down time. We saw 3 bears and some friendly racoons. Plenty to do and see in the area, although we were content to spend most of our time at the cabin. We truly enjoyed our stay and recommend this place to others ;)

Cabin Fever was awesome
My family loved staying at cabin fever lodge. The area is quiet and beautiful. We saw a bear or two almost every day. The house is well maintained and clean. The lower level with the games was a huge hit with the grandkids and adults. We can't wait to stay again!

Family Celebration
Perfect for our family, although the drive up the mountain was terrifying in the darkness and rain for one family, so arrive during daylight!!! Lots of room, good beds, amazing views, well equipped kitchen. Only suggestion is a gate by the hot tub to possibly keep the bears off the balcony. 🐻

Amazing cabin and views
We had a wonderful trip and highly recommend this home. Our first night dinner on the deck included 3 raccoons that welcomed us and hung out. It is the right place to truly disconnect and enjoy being in nature. All the homes are nicely positioned so you don't see each other and you truly feel alone in nature. The downstairs game area and hot tub were so nice to have fun. The furnishing in this cabin were SO comfortable and Xfinity cable on all the TV's was really nice. I'll never stay in Gatlinburg again! The cabin was so close and SO much better than anything in Gatlinburg and yet far enough away you were secluded. Definite 5 star recommendation!

Beautiful! Breathtaking!
The house was a perfect fit for our family of 18. And we could have fit way more! The game room was hours of fun for all! The decks were a super fun place to hang out, laugh and enjoy family fun and absolutely stunning views! The views! The views! The views! The check in was effortless. The owner took care of any house problems immediately and effectively. Communication was easy with rapid responses. There was an issue with dirty floors, but these are covid times and patience is a virtue. EVERYONE is short staffed. We saw a bear twice in the driveway! Exciting and scary at the same time. We had a little family of raccoons pass through and even a cat. We loved this house! Can't say enough about it. I highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful views
The home is spacious and has amazing views. It is in need of some maintenance and deep cleaning but has the potential to be a truly exceptional property with some TLC. Owner was responsive to immediate issues. Plenty of room for a large group.

The views were amazing !!!! Had a great family vacation.
Cabin was in very poor shape. Needed so many repairs. Was not very clean. Did not let all of this effect our family vacation. The views where amazing. we would not book this cabin in the future.

Family Reunion in the Smokies
First and foremost: THE VIEW! It’s spectacular! And the stars are so visible due to very little light pollution. It’s an uphill ride to get there but worth the climb. As others have mentioned…the bears make appearances. All of our car doors would he covered in prints even though we made sure to remove food. A couple close encounters by some guests but they weren’t threatening.
It’s a well-lived in home. Any maintenance issues were resolved quickly as the owner is very responsive. There were some excessive spider webs we would’ve preferred had been removed from the outdoor social areas. All the indoor areas for gathering did not go to waste! The game room was used quite a bit as well as the hot tub.
Our family reunion was well hosted by this home. Memories made to last a lifetime for sure!

Spacious cabin with fantastic view
Spacious cabin in a beautiful setting. We were disappointed with the cleaning. Several areas had not been dusted for a while. Kitchen appliances are adequate, but need upgrading. A cabin this size should have more than one oven. The hot tub is very nice. We enjoyed the expansive porches and game room as well.

Very good.

Great place for a family vacation!
This house was perfect for our family vacation! Easy to find and great views! Plenty of room and things to do for everyone. The place was overall clean but needed a good deep clean (very dusty and little musty) Definitely a place to check out though!

I would definitely recommend Cabin Fever to friends.

The view! The Home! Everything you could want!
We loved staying at Cabin Fever and would absolutely consider staying there again. The view is to die for, and the home is spacious and well equipped. The minor issues we ran into were addressed by the owner immediately, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We had 9 adults, and 10 kids ranging from 8-18, and there was room for everyone comfortably. The game room was a hit and kept the kids occupied. The family room was large enough for all of us at one time. We did see a mamma bear and 3 cubs while staying there. And, the road to get there is pretty steep, but so worth it! You literally feel like you don't have neighbors and the scenery is just spectacular. It was a wonderful home for our much anticipated family vacation. Highly recommend it!

Absolutely beautiful location - secluded in the mountainside with stunning views but close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for plenty of things to do! We had a large gathering of family members of all ages from various states and the space was perfect. Beautiful views! We spent our days exploring the area and the evenings enjoying each other's company. Much time spent outside on the deck, in the hot tub, or in the spacious house. The kitchen was well-equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We saw several bears and other wildlife in the area. Overall a wonderful time.
The only downside is the furniture in the cabin is quite seasoned - the sofas and dining chairs need replaced as they sink too low for comfort when seated. A pullout loveseat in one of the lower bedrooms was too dry rotted for use. We also did not have enough towels for use and when we contacted management for more they said no additional towels were available.
Overall it was a very pleasant stay - just in need of a few updates.

The view was absolutely incredible! It was such a beautiful place and we wish we could have stayed longer! Everything was clean and provided and we really just enjoyed a great time of fellowship free from the distractions of life! Would suggest this place to all my friends!

My daughter was married in Gatlinburg and we had the reception back at the cabin and it was perfect. Everyone loved the cabin and how spacious it was. Would highly reccomend to anyone with a large group. Was very pleased with amount of towels also!!

We had 16 family members staying in this cabin for 5 nights and we had plenty of room - everyone had a bed! The views are beautiful and we were close to Gatlinburg, as well as Dollywood, white-water rafting and other activities. The cabin is very comfortable and clean. We were visited by a bear several times who really wanted in the trash cans outside - that was very entertaining! We would definitely stay at this cabin again and do recommend it to others.

The view was amazing. Cabin was beautiful. We did have to call back cleaning company. Lots of things got missed (Floors, beds, hot tub, etc). To own a million dollar cabin & not keep up the exterior (chairs. Landscape, stain, etc) takes the WOW factor way down for cost to rent. Property mngr was helpful & tried to assist as best she could from another state. We had (2) bear, gray fox & raccoons that visited every night. Very special to get to share all of that w family!

The cabin was perfect. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great! The T.V. was not working properly and the dryer had issues but that didn't matter. We still had a great time and plan to go back. Have 4 bedrooms with king beds was awesome.

We had a wonderful week at Cabin Fever! The view from the cabin was incredible and we spent many hours on the deck watching the ever-changing landscape. This was our first time renting one large house for our family reunion so we weren't sure how it would work out. We loved the large, spacious rooms. The house was big enough that we didn't feel like we were on top of each other and you could always find a quiet area to read if you wanted. We had a wide range of ages (18 months to 88 years) and there was something for everyone. We enjoyed the game room and hot tub, and we had the pool to ourselves. The kitchen area was great too ... Enough counter space for a buffet dinner and seating for everyone. Parking was also not an issue. We'll be back for sure!

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! The pictures online cannot do the view justice! The cabin was clean and beautiful. We have small children (2-4 years old) and they had a great time, too. There was plenty of room so everyone in our party had privacy, and the common areas provided plenty of seating for a large group. The decks are beautiful and the area is quiet and peaceful. We have already begun talking about our next trip! Can't reccommend Cabin Fever enough!

We LOVED this house!! It was better then we all imagined it would be!! We love the layout of the house, Big, Open, plenty of space. Just Beautiful! We all enjoyed the playroom, we had driving battles each night on the racing game! The Decks are awesome with great views of the Valley and Mountains, So peaceful!! Lots of space to park, we had 6 cars and there was still plenty of room to get around each other! The beds slept well, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Loved the decor, We called our trip "The Bear Hunters" with all the cute black bears everywhere. The Bear Hunters will be back!

Beautiful cabin...our group of 12 truly enjoyed our visit...beautiful views...NO WI-FI !!!!....Loved the towels, wish I would have looked to see what kind they were...cabin was very clean....no hot tub or sauna working...we did have a little creature visiting (mice)...the guest in the lower rooms said it was very noisy due to equipment running.

What a great Labor Day. This is the second time we have stayed at Cabin Fever. There were 33 of us there for Labor Day. The view from the decks are georgous. When you are making breakfast for this gang the kitchen and dining space are wonderful. Plenty of room and plenty of pots and pans. The game room is perfect for the big kids and the little kids. It gives the adults time to gather on the decks and make good use of the rockers and the hot tub while the kids are happy to be in the game room. With 7 bedrooms spread out on 3 floors there is plenty of sleeping space. I had 2 brothers and 2 sisters and their entire families there, along with my children and grandchildren. I don't know what else to say but what a great time in the mountains. IT WAS WONDERFUL. Thanks for a great time.
