About this house rental
Cedar Lodge at Rockaway is tucked barely 1.5 blocks from downtown Rockaway Beach and all the shopping, entertainment, and restaurants it has to offer. Just another block or so beyond are the shores of the Pacific Ocean and the beach as you will see from the views on the second level of the home.
With four bedrooms and two bathrooms it is a wonderful retreat for families or small groups to enjoy. One of the bathrooms features a claw foot tub for soaking your cares away, the other bathroom has a standing shower. One of the first things you will notice is all of the custom natural wood details throughout. The bonus living space includes a built-in loft bed along with at TV and connected VHS and DVD player that kids of all ages can enjoy.
There is also a small office/reading area that is a great spot to relax and recharge after a long day enjoying the sun and waves. The covered back patio has a great BBQ and fire pit to unwind with family or friends after a fun day at the beach or after wandering the shops at Rockaway. Cedar Lodge at Rockaway is going to become your home away from home!
We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring the interior of the house.
PET FRIENDLY: *There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $200 (2 pets). Please be aware failure to adhere to the house rules as it pertains to pets may result in cancellation of the booking with no refund. Please do not leave dogs unattended at any time in or on the property. No other pets allowed.*

We were so pleased with this property. We loved the big family play room upstairs. The proximity to the beach was nice. The management team was amazing. When we couldn’t find extra toilet paper, we called and within 30 minutes someone was knocking on the door with a fresh supply!

We had a great stay with a group of friends! Most of the families have young children (1-3 year old). The house was well stocked and the management team communicated super clearly and delivered all of our requests to the door. Highly recommend this house!

House has a lot of character. Plenty of beds. We were here for a work trip, so didn’t use the kitchen much. Customer service was AMAZING.

This house has it all. It’s got plenty of space for your whole family. It’s walking distance to the beach, to restaurants and shopping. The has has every appliance and kitchen gadget you could imagine if you like to cook. We like to make a big family breakfast before heading out to explore for the day. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Cedar Lodge Rockaway is an amazing house. It is huge and beautiful good for a few families to hang out in. Definitely bigger than we thought. There were tons of different types of kitchen amenities even down to different spices and ingredients. There was also different types of games and puzzles which we all enjoyed. It is a short walk into town and an easy walk to the beach. We would definitely stay again.

The house was spacious enough for all ten and the bathrooms were clean! Parking was easy and the beach access simple! Best of all the managers were helpful and kind.

Everything was wonderful! The toys and costumes for the kiddos was a wonderful surprise! Quiet, clean, comfortable and nicely stocked kitchen. Perfect place for a family retreat. My only issue not handicap friendly at all.

We found out the dishwasher wasn't working, so everything had to be hand washed. On one of the twin beds there was something on a pillow case that seemed to be semen. (?). Whatever it was, washed out. The house is beautiful, well equipped & furnished, but the dishwasher & pillow issues were a disappointment.

We frequently rent in the area, and this is one of the cleanest and coziest houses we have booked. The kids had so much fun exploring all of the upstairs. Insanely close to main strip and conveniences. House is also very well stocked. Very functional and tons of custom craftsmanship.

Building a home, living in an RV. We needed to get out and have a weekend in a house that fit all of us (10.) It's not the most extravagant place but it fit the bill. I was raining and windy from the time we got there from the time we left. Never lost power or ran out of hot water. The place has some quirks but everyone had a great time!

We had a pleasant stay. The beds are uncomfortable as they’re just springs. There are several spiders and spider webs all over the rooms which was not very attractive. Other than that the place was clean and comfy.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and had very we needed for a comfortable stay. It was a super short walk to the darling downtown and to the beach.
Be aware if you have any mobility issues that there are few small rounded steps from where you enter the house into the main living area. The bathroom with the shower is in the lower part, and the upstairs bathroom has a great bathtub.

We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway to Cedar Lodge in Rockaway Beach. The house was well-furnished and well-stocked with plenty of room to spread out. We didn't cook much at the house but it was extremely well-appointed down to the vast selection of spices! bonus! The kids loved the "loft" bed, which gave a "fort-like" feel. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the beds and super comfortable mattresses.
The location was perfect - walking distance to several restaurants and stores and the Beach. We enjoyed the short 2-block walk to Beach Bakeshop for delicious pastries and coffee each morning. Yum! We made many trips to the Beach, just a short 3 minute jaunt for long walks morning, noon and night.
All in all, a fantastic stay with no issues. Thank you!

We made a family trip to the coast. The house was the perfect location for our 3 families to stay. The kids loved having the extra play room upstairs and had a lot of fun riding their bikes out front. Being walking distance to the beach, shopping, restaurants was great too! The house was clean, stocked with extra linens and towels and communication with itrip customer service was great. Thanks again for a fun mini vacations!
