The property matched expectations from the listing. We really enjoyed using the pool for the kids. Those shared amenities give it a leg up over a non-resort vacation rental.

Not huge but a good size townhome for our family. Everything we needed in the kitchen, table to eat around, living room space to hang out (in air conditioning) after a full day outside hiking and exploring. We also enjoyed access to the pools and loved that our little dog could stay with us. Beds were comfy and the place had nice modern updates. Nice location.

Our family (2 adults 2 preteens) stayed here to explore the north shore over a long summer weekend. It was a great location. The community amenities are great - kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub and we liked Moguls for a convenient dinner. Fika was great for coffee and North Shore Winery made for a great date afternoon. The townhouse itself is cozy. It was fine for our group but could get tight with 4+ adults.

This was the perfect spot for our family of 4 (plus dog) to get away to the North Shore.

This property was well maintained by the owners and was well equipped with kitchen utensils, pots pans etc. we were able to sleep 6 +baby comfortably and we timed the colors just right even though we missed the sun.
Thank you!

This little VRBO had everything we needed to have a relaxing vacation: well furnished kitchen, fitness center, nearby golf course and access to great hiking trails.

We booked this townhome for a ski weekend with our 3 kids. It was perfect! Enough beds for all, kitchen had almost everything we needed (no dishwasher soap, but we washed by hand and could use the dishwasher for drying rack). There's a small landing in the downstairs where we could put all our ski gear and the ski locker outside was a safe space for our skis, poles, etc. Fun games and puzzles. Several TVs for when the kids were too tired to agree on a movie after a long day of skiing. Access to the hot tub and pool was within walking distance. And there's nothing better than being able to ski back for lunch and then being able to get right back out again. Thanks for a great stay! We will be back.

We all agreed that having a ski in/ski out is great! It slows for the skiers to ski as long as they want, come back and eat and then quickly head out again. The place was week stocked (although we couldn’t find a cutting board) and there was plenty of room for our party of 5. I would definitely rent here again!

The set up of the home was awesome for our family with two teenage boys who were able to have the down stairs to themselves while my husband and I could enjoy the upstairs. It was also so nice that it was pet friendly and we brought our two small dogs along. Melissa was awesome and very helpful when I had a question. Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay here. It had everything we needed, clean, and very cute! My only qualm was I ended up sleeping on the pullout couch with a kiddo 2 of the 3 nights. It wasn’t horrible, but I wouldn’t recommend for an adult over 25 to sleep on :)

My family and I booked this property due to its immediate access to Lutsen Mountains’ ski slopes. We were pleasantly surprised to find a cozy…and classy two bedroom condo with ski in/ski out access. I have found in the past that rentals may be furnished with yard sale furniture, hand-me-down decor, and spare dishes. That is not the case with this Caribou Highlands condo. The unit is tastefully decorated and comprehensively outfitted. This set a great vibe for our stay. There was ample space for our kids in the downstairs bedroom while my wife and I enjoyed the peace and quiet of being two floors up in our loft. After skiing we took advantage of the pool and hot tub at the main building. A great mix of being close to all the fun, but quiet and relaxing. Our hosts John and Marissa focused on being welcoming and available while providing us space to enjoy our time. Classy condo…classy hosts. We highly recommend this rental and it’s hosts for your next trip to Lutsen.

We’ve stayed at Caribou Highlands multiple times and this is by far the nicest info we’ve ever had. Adorable furnishings, very comfortable beds, fluffy towels and a nicely equipped kitchen. We love that it’s in the townhome section and away from the main building (just a short walk away). Very private. Would definitely stay again!
