I thought I would have a tent waiting for me, but only after I had paid, I get a message from the owner saying that I should bring my own tent. And I didn't get my money back.

Nothing
See review in July titled SCAM similar to our experience.. I booked this in good faith because I assumed, wrongly apparently, the booking was a ready-made tent with beds, which are provided by reputable campsites. I was informed on the morning of the booking, it was a tent pitch only. Funnily enough, the host didn't pick up my telephone calls. I'm sure it is a lovely little spot and but alas, I felt we had been duped and arranged alternative accommodation for my family. Maybe next time when visiting family in Ireland, we will see St Mullins, but I'll try and find alternative accommodation rather than deal with this host.

the location was good
when arriving at the camping there was no one to welcome us, we called the camping phone, a person answered, he didn't even ask if we had a reservation or not, he simply asked "do you have a tent?" We answered "yes", the person's answer was: then you can put the tent anywhere. The place offers no security. A "baldio" land with the gate open for anyone who wanted to enter. We didn't stay there, and we left. LOST MONEY, LACK OF RESPECT WITH CUSTOMERS.

The location was absolutely idyllic, truly sublime. Tranquil, beautiful, rich greenery with stunning stone walls, the whole place was pristine, with a lovely, relaxing feel about it. Thomas, the host, made us feel extremely welcome, he was fantastic. A credit to you Thomas and a huge THANK YOU 🤣🤣🤣
The only improvement could be a separate toilet, this wasn’t an issue during our stay as it was very quiet, but if it was busy it may pose an issue. Hot water would have been a bonus.
Nothing😀😀😀
However, Booking .com needs to clarify that it is a bring your own tent campsite, the wording should be changed to ‘pitch’ rather than room.

All good

Nice location by the river, with a local pub walking distance, car park across the road, perfect for a night camping away

Lovely location, very peaceful
Never meet the owners, so bit unsure what to do on arrival, as we were the only ones there.
Shower is cold.

Location was great. Very neat and tidy place. Beautiful plants and freshly cut grass. Stunning view of the river. Car park on the other side of the road, plenty of space there. Toilet and shower on site. Great place for dogs. Tables for breakfast and space for fire on site. Plenty of space for any type of a tent.
We didn't know there won't be a person to welcome us so we were a bit confused to just take our tent and make ourselves comfortable on site. A LOT of HUGE spiders and spiderweb in toilet and shower room. I know...its a camping but room should be cleaned at least once a month. I've found it very very challenging to use the facilties with that amount of spiders that size in there. No warm water at all so it's difficult to take a shower. However...please clean the spiders! They are horrible!!!

Didnt even stay - There was no tents when got there to check in. It doesnt state on the booking page that is an empty field your paying for and they charge your card before you get there. And now when asked to return my money there not answer the phone and would seem i have been blocked when caling them.

Absolutely beautiful location for relaxing
Also pub and cafe within walking distance if the peace becomes to much
Kids loved it it was like a time before internet
Telling stories around a fire and enjoying a bit of nature
Nothing but be aware that it is wild camping

It's quite an attractive looking place, tidy garden, stone house.
However when I rang around local B&B's for somewhere for myself and my family to stay a very helpful lady suggested Brandon Hill Camping, Graiguenamanagh - about 15 mins north. Ken the campsite owner could not have been more helpful and hospitable and I would highly recommend his campsite to anyone who stays in the area. The town has some lovely pubs as well, with great food and live music. To be honest the person at St Mullins did us a favour and we had a very pleasant stay at Brandon Hill😁
Not bothering to meet us, or respond to our phone calls or emails. Very poor unsatisfactory response when I emailed a few days later to ask why this had happened.

it promises nothing but a beautiful location to pitch a tent and a toilet and sink, and that’s exactly what you get. Its so nice falling asleep to the sound of the river. the bar and cafe in the town are fantastic.
Only thing missing was that there was no light in the shed with the toilet in it. The kids were a little scared to use it once it got dark.

It is the most beautiful spot.
Pub 5 minutes walk up the road. If you want to get back to nature it's top for that. No electricity or showers. We just went to the pool for swim and shower lol.the river walk is stunning.
Pity no lighting. The water wasn't turned on in toilet but when I said to man who was over site he switched water on.
