This was our second stay in the Blue Spruce condos. We were not disappointed. We love to trout fish and we want to be right ON the river. This place sits about 15 feet off the water. Its location is great. Far enough out to feel you are away but close enough to run into town. This condo is in great shape. Big kitchen! Stocked with all cook ware you could need. Seasonings, flour, oil, ketchup, mustard, etc were there. Only downfall would be is that the second bathroom, which is located between the master and the double bed room, is very small. Master bathroom is plenty big. So we were a bit crunched with bathroom situation BUT the good news is we had mostly men, only two women so we were able to share the master bathroom. Overall, we would highly recommend this place. Well kept, great area, cozy, great fireplace and great for cooking for bigger group! 👍👍👍

Everything we needed was there, even fishing poles for the kids to use in the river. Thank you for an amazing, relaxing place to enjoy and escape the Texas heat!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is spacious and laid out well. We only had 3 in our party but would easily accommodate more (it's much more spacious inside than it looks from the outside, so trust the pictures as they accurately portray how roomy and cozy the house is). The sight and sound of the Thompson River is such a bonus - so beautiful and relaxing. We spent a lot of time on the porch and I highly recommend refilling the hummingbird feeder, as those cuties provided us with lots of entertainment! You can't beat the convenience to RMNP and we really enjoyed being close to Estes Park, without being right in the hustle of it (road construction right now causes delays). Hiking - I recommend the Cub Lake Trail and Sprague Lake/Glacier Creek trails (both are within driving distance). We had some great meals but our favorite was at Bird & Jim, right up the street. We really loved our stay here and hope to return at some point!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying in your beautiful home in Big Thompson canyon. It was the most immaculate VRBO I have stayed in with a kitchen that was well equipped. Linens and beds were all high quality. Communication with rental company/owner was very prompt addressing any of our issues. I would absolutely stay again!

My family stayed here the week between Xmas and New Year's. It was the perfect winter retreat. Very cozy little cabin right by the YMCA and entrance to RMNP. My girls absolutely loved playing in the snow and then coming in to warm up by the fire. Hosts were very communicative and place was spotless and very warmly decorated.

It was helpful to “wake up” the door lock by placing a hand over the face of the lock, and used the “check mark” at the end.
The home is as pictured. We are used to air conditioning, so it felt a bit stuffy to us, but was obviously very well cleaned. The kitchen is large with ample dining space, and all the cooking supplies you would need are present.
The living room is comfortable with plenty of seating, we were here in October and spent most of our time outside by the river. This house has the best outdoor space in the neighborhood by far.
The beds were comfortable, I was happy I brought a firm pillow though, these were all fluffy.
The bathrooms are great, they included shampoos etc which I find is a bonus when renting a house.
The location is relaxing, away from the hustle of downtown Estes, a short drive into town, there is not really any space to go for walks in the neighborhood (that I found), but is so close to the Rocky Mountain National Park, that you will want to do all your walking there 😊
I was delighted they had extra blankets in each of the bedrooms, it was cool in the evenings and we each had something to wrap up in while relaxing by the river. They also had extra box fans, extra toilet paper, plenty of dish towels and rags, a generous amount of towels, a generous of supplies for our stay.
I also greatly appreciated they didn’t ask us to strip the beds and start the laundry before checking out.

This is a great place to relax and unwind next to the River bank. Very quite neighborhood and the house was super clean. Comfortable beds and great kitchen! Highly recommend with House being just outside of town, it close enough to drive in for whatever you need.

My wife and I had a fabulous stay at Pinehenge. The location on the Big T is perfect. Whether we were fishing for a few hours or just sitting stream side drinking wine, we felt at home. My wife used the word “cozy” to describe the fireplaces and accommodations. The only issue upon arrival was some confusion on how to activate the digital lock to enter the code. Tapping didn’t work…… you needed to place hand over to take it out of sleep mode. When calling the management company they tried to convince me I was at the wrong place but we knew better. Specific instruction might benefit future renters. After clearing that hurdle, the rest was paradise. We would absolutely recommend this property and look forward to returning.

Excellent home on the river. Beautiful location.
We loved the porch and being able to listen to the river. Kitchen was well stocked and the master suite large and comfortable. The bathrooms were well equipped with lots of towels and soaps, etc. The colors, paintings and decor were just perfect for the mountains. The neighborhood was quiet and clean. We did have a problem with the TV as the cable was unplugged and no directions on how to reconnect. It just took a while of several tries to get it on. We did have a problem with the garbage shed code as it did not work. We were lucky to find a neighbor who allowed us to put the trash in his private bin. Otherwise, the property was excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone with a family or a quiet spot for just two. Enjoyed having a grill.

We couldn't get enough of coffee in the morning sitting by the river and playing in the river throughout the day. The place is spacious and, with three older children, we appreciated three total queen beds in the secondary bedrooms - two queen beds in one of the secondary bedrooms instead of the usual just one queen bed in each of the secondary bedrooms. Access to RMNP & Estes downtown was so close and we appreciated being close, but feeling secluded.

Two families with kids stayed here comfortably. It has every kitchen amenity you need to make meals. Just 5 minutes to RMNP Beaver Meadows Entrance, it made our early morning timed entry so easy! I would definitely stay here again! The only thing I found confusing was the trash. Directions were left saying recycling was mandatory and gave an off-site address to drop it. However, the recycling center was closed the day we checked out.

Our family enjoyed this location and the place was beautiful. We were very comfortable there. Sitting right along the river was spectacular. Very relaxing. Some of the ceiling fans weren’t working and we had a hard time getting the Keureg coffee pot to brew a full pot. Or brew correctly, even when we followed the directions. So we used the extra Mr. Coffee pot in the pantry for 2 mornings. There were plenty of cups, dishes, pots/pans that suit our family great. Very comfortable beds & extra fans provided as well. Very very nice stay!

Location is perfect! Close to everything but out of the crowds & very quiet. The porch view is so relaxing with the river! We never received a door entry code & had to make a couple of calls but was eventually resolved so we could access property.

Excellent property! The Big Thompson River really does flow in front of the town house; it is very close to Rocky Mountain National Park and the town of Estes Park; it is spacious, beautifully furnished, and outfitted with all of the dishes, utensils, and other items than a family could ever use! We really enjoyed our four night stay here! Highly recommend!

My family had such a wonderful stay in Estes at this vacation home right on the river. One highlight was a herd of elk that walked right by our back door! My sons really enjoyed fishing and caught many trout while we sat in the coziest balcony overlooking the river. The back patio is especially wonderful. We made friends with neighbors, had a BBQ, and slept to the sound of rushing river at night. Very comfortable, spacious, and clean. Well equipped kitchen for cooking. Highly recommended!

Spectacular river retreat
This house is lovely, beautifully furnished, and very clean. The neighborhood is quiet and away from the crowds of downtown yet only a mile or two from everything you need. Everything you need is already in the house, even fishing poles. The back porch is where we spent most of our time listening to the river a few feet away and watching the hummingbirds swarm around the feeder.
Our only suggestions are to make sure the WiFi passwords and garbage bin codes posted on the refrigerator, modem, and on Vrbo are all the same, we had some confusion connecting to the wifi and taking the trash out. Also, it would be great to install some non-slid strips in the bath tub and a handle bar for safety.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this house to anyone traveling to Estes Park and RMNP! Thank you to the owners and hosts!

PERFECTLY AMAZING PLACE!
Mary's home is a wonderful retreat in Estes Park. It has been recently updated with beautiful finishes, new carpet and wood floors. The home is comfortable and on the perfect spot right by the river and only 4 minutes from the beaver meadows entrance to the National Park. Beautiful bull elk grazed each day right behind the back porch. We watched humming birds and ducks and Stellar jays fly all around the porch. My 20 year old daughter absolutely loved it. She told me several times that
she wants to go back next year and stay in the exact same place.

Amazing location
This property is spotlessly clean. The location is perfect. It felt like a little piece of heaven, sitting on the back deck, listening to the river. We frequently had elk in the late afternoon. I would definitely rent this property again.

Serene Estes getaway
Our family had a wonderful spring break here. Wonderful space inside and set along the river outside. The house sits closer to other houses than expected, but it was still quiet and didn’t bother us. It was pretty cold and snowed while we were there so we didn’t spend any time on the deck. We’d love to come back and do this in the future.
Deducted a star on the cleanliness because the walk to the front was not scooped and the master tub’s jets were not clean. I’d also note the drive was scooped but very narrow and was a little difficult to get in and out of. We were happy to have an all wheel drive car.
Doris was wonderful ensuring we were able to get in ok and was very helpful with a couple questions. Thank you Doris!
Overall we loved this place and would stay again.

Awesome property!
This three bedroom duplex/bungalow//cabin (not sure what to call it because it was bigger than expected) was great. Very clean, easy to get to, and comfortable. We stayed four days and three nights. On the last night it was just warm’ish enough for us to sleep with the bedroom door open and listen to the stream, just 30 feet away. Loved our stay.

A Lovely Stay
The owner was pleasant to work with and communicated well.
The setting of the home in this nice little community of homes with front row views of the river was perfect; it was only a short drive into Estes Patk.
A well appointed kitchen, a warming gas fireplace in the living room and extremely large bedrooms with very comfortable beds
made our stay perfect!

Another lovely stay
Our second stay in this property and third stay on the row with these owners. Both of their homes on the row are our favorite VRBO properties! This was our first stay in October and it was great using the gas fireplace. It warms up the whole house.
Other than finding the key pad to be a little tricky at times we had no issues. The aspens were spectacular. Got snow one morning! Trail Ridge road closed after the first day due to weather but we did get to drive the whole road on the first day. The beds are very comfortable and the new flooring on the first floor looks great. The porch was chilly but still my favorite spot.
We plan to be back!
