About this house rental
This is a studio style rustic cabin with an additional bedroom located on the main street Big Bear Blvd near popular attractions, such as The Village a mile away, and Snow Summit less than a mile away. This cabin features full wood logs as part of the architecture, cozy fireplace, and full equipped kitchen for a family stay!
The space
From the curb the property may not seem all that appealing, but once you enter the driveway lined by pine trees, you'll find a little gem hidden behind those pine trees. Plenty of room for parking, and much privacy for couples.
Guest access
The main cabin (originally the bed and breakfast building operated by the original owners) is not accessible to guest occupying this listing unless permission is given. A large selection of boardgames and DVDs are available in there, and you can request specific entertainment options from there to be used and then returned during your stay. You're welcome to use and enjoy any of the benches in and around the gardens on the property, and kindly share the barbecues :)

Part of the porch is partitioned, problem with that is it is right next to a bedroom. We heard the workers talking and moving about in there it was already around 8:00 pm.We were up early so we’re trying to nap. There is also a annoying CONSTANT drip from the shower head. Mattresses are extremely hard and uncomfortable!!

Great location close to Snow Summit and the downtown area. Comfortable place!

Ok stay

Property overall was nice, cabin was weird dated but could be a 5 star place with a few adjustments. Layout is nice. Cleanliness was very poor. Dirt and more around all the bottom edges of the walls. Cobwebs everywhere.
Creepy posters behind the false window in the bedroom. Cramped shower!
Shower head needs to be adjusted so water does not leak all over the bathroom floor. Worst of all is the beds, old and hard as rocks! With a good deep cleanining, new adjustable shower head, a usable window in the bedroom and new mattresess and bedding, this could be a 5 star place!

The cabin was cozy, and nice.

The kitchen was nice to get a facelift( but no toaster), but the bathroom, especially the shower, should be fixed.

Great little cabin, could use some cooking utensils and a can opener lol but other than that great little place to enjoy big bear.

Really cute and convenient little cabin :) The heater worked wonderfully, and we were nice and warm all night. They have a little fenced area for dogs to be let out. Pretty good for a quick stay while traveling with pets for the price!

The cabin is ok, but for us that went with 2 dogs it was great to have a little fenced yard

I was meeting friends for a fun off road trip that was cut short. When I arrived to the cabin it was in the 30s and went to turn on the heat with no luck. Was forced to stay the night in a cold cabin. The next day I asked to have the heat fixed. A lady came over and couldn't fix the heating problem and I had to leave because I couldn't stay another night in a freezing cabin cutting my trip short. I asked for a refund for the night i couldn't stay with no answer back from Kim, the host. Poor customer service and wasted money for a night I couldn't stay because the cabin had no heat.

No frills but served its purpose.
