INSIDER TIPS:

-The sunrise looking out from the cabin over the lake is simply breathtaking. Our guests tell us that photos just do not do it justice. Best viewing is from the upper deck and in the upstairs bedroom. This is worth waking up early for.
- The upper deck is the perfect place to sit out on a quiet starry night enjoying a glass of wine and great conversation with loved ones.
-Birdwatching is amazing from the cottage decks. Because we are nestled up amongst the treetop canopies you can enjoy a huge diversity of common and rare birds and flying squirrels. Especially interesting during spring and fall bird migratory seasons.

Winter Notes:
- Dock, hammocks and watercraft stored in late October for future summer enjoyment.
- The property is quite large and therefore the hill is not maintainable in the winter when there is deep snow. To get down to the lake to explore when it is fully frozen you can easily access it from the boat launch (only a km away) where you will find parking. Or for the more adventurous, feel free to forge your way down and explore! Shovels are provided!
