Skip this hostel if you can

Community Manager Bhavya took us for a sunset trek which was really nice. Also, they have a dog called brownie and she is beautiful:) Plenty space to chill around and hangout. Manager in block B was a nice guy.

The biggest red flag was people on reception, they were really rude, they were rude to me when i booked this place and they were rude to me when i reached to checkin. Not only to me, they were rude to everyone and all of the travelers were pretty pissed. I did not understand the policy of asking full money in advance even though we have not checked the place in person. Its like you're stuck even if you dont like the place or even if its dirty or something. Dorms have only 1 table fan attached to wall, we all were unable to sleep as it was too hot and everyone was sweating. I paid for bigger dorm but it turned out size of the dorm was same, they just added one small area with table next to dorm. Very small dorm and all the beds were really close to each other. Lights in the room are very dim, if you need to pack or anything then you'll have to use phone flash or take things out in common area. Food at the cafe does not taste good at all, you can refer picture of friend rice and manchurian, i left the food as it was really bad, but their Chai is good. Common area also does not have enough fans and its very difficult to sit and chill.

The stay was amazing with the Doon valley view.

The property is well equipped with games and breakout areas. The cafe is great and has good menu. The place is taken good care by Prateik, Shakti and Alka, the cafe is well curated by Manoj. The staff is very friendly and will give their 110% to ensure a very comfortable stay.

Lit trop court pour les européens en dortoir. Obligé de dormir légèrement recroquevillé ou en biais si vous faites plus 180cm. Couette pas de dernière fraîcheur. La house n'avait pas été changé. Les photos ne sont pas toutes contractuelles. Le cadenas est proposé à la location et non pas proposé dans le tarif de la nuitée.

Great place but if you have any problem in walking, don't book.

The view from balcony and location was peaceful. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. Was surprised to see smart TV in our room because top end hotels also have regular TVs in their premium rooms. Food tasted just like home.

A guy from the hotel tried to charge us for extra blankets and also, tried to overcharge for room heater. He told me that room heater was for 500 per night but when I contacted the reception, they told me it was 300 rupees per night. Also, the bathroom had a foul smell which only resolved after 2 days. Only veg food is available, no non veg.

Location is beautiful n view is excellent. If Breakfast n lunch could me made available at the balcony area it would be nice. Service n care of staff is good. They took care of my medical needs inspite of limited resources. Made me feel comfortable. Definitely recommend a stay specially for youngsters.

Cleanliness of washrooms needs improvement No street lights to main entrance. Not accessible for seniors with luggage. Not quite equipped with complete first aid like crape bandage n lack of knowledge of 24hrs medical facilities n hospit available in the area. Inspite of all this the staff n people in charge did their best to help me. Would give a ++ for service n care. View n location is beautiful. Ambience is fine.

Horrible and dissapointing

Not much. We had to leave a night early because it was so bad- although the common room of the hostel has a nice view.

The whole property smelt sooo bad. Toilets of our room smelt like raw sewage which made the whole room smell unbearable. There was also a smell of food throughout the property. We asked to move rooms and that room smelt the same. I understand there may have been some sort of issue but they refused to refund our second night there so we had to pay and then pay to stay somewhere else.

Excellent But Be Aware Of Drunkards Arriving On Weekends!

Everything is absolutely great!

1️⃣Some of the staff members are busy chitchatting amongst themselves using abusive languages doesn’t caring about the fact that client/customer has arrived. Few are professionals 2️⃣I was Staying in G5 (8 persons dorm), two nights it went very well, third night a group of 13 folks arrived, making noises, disturbing the peace around, heavy drinkers, super loud - I could not or sleep and there was no one who could control/question I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 stars HOWEVER 3 from me COZ what you carry is EXPERIENCE & last was RUINED BY Chaotic a$$oLes!

Decent view with below average stay.

The look of the hotel was impressive. The view from the balcony was amazing! The terrace was a bonus 🙂

The location is hard to find, even the staff couldn't guide us properly. Beds and linen were dirty. No restaurant at the premises. Absolutely not recommended for elderly people.

I mistakenly booked my room for the wrong dates. When i tried to cancel even 7 days ago from the date of check-in, they just refund 30% of the amount. That too after so much of back & forth on their emails. All this because I missed the free cancellation cut off time by few hours and that gave them the chance to hide behind the golden line - "As per the policy". Mussoorie is busy tourist spot, they would have got new guest immediately in few hours, I communicated 7 days from the check-in, but no!!! they choose to rip me off using - "As per the policy we cant refund, we can give to 30%". Their is no person to talk to,. They just use endless loops of automated call responder - press 1, press 2...blah blah. Very bad experience.
