My husband turned 60 and him and his brother are into brewing so we toured Sierra Nevada and went to several breweries. This house is super clean, and well stocked.

Our group of 4 stayed here for a long weekend, and really enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean. We made use of the kitchen for making breakfast, and appreciated the selection of dishes, pot/pans, utensils, etc. We also really enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautifully remodeled craftsman with comfy beds. Walking difference to shops and restaurants. Good jumping off point to explore the surrounding areas. Suggestions leave directions for the TV to access the cable. Be sure the maids leave the remote in a visible spot. Install grab bars for claw foot tub.Thank you for a great stay!

This was a nice home to stay in with my parents and daughters for a family reunion in town. The neighborhood was a little scary but the house was nice and very well stocked. Loved the front porch with porch swings and rocking chairs! We wanted to use the fire pit but the back yard was not really that inviting so we chose the front porch for outside time together. Thank you for letting us stay!

You can tell the owner has taken great care of the property. It had everything our family of 4 needed. Perfect central location to the mountain apple farms as well as downtown to eat out and grab ice cream. Thanks for the great memories.

The home is an old home that has been completely remodeled. It has the charm and idiosyncrasies of an old home with the conveniences that modern people need. The owner of the home was very responsive and pleasant.
You could walk to downtown Hendersonville if you are motivated, we didn't, but you could.
We would absolutely stay there again.

Cute little house
We decided to extend our vacation over the July 4th Holiday in the Asheville/Hendersonville. We are so happy we found this house. The kitchen was well stocked and included high end appliances. Honestly the only thing we needed to bring was food. We left with some great memories. If we are ever in the area again, we'll book again.

Southern Charmer
Our stay was absolutely perfect. Check-in couldn't be easier. The house was spotless and charming. And so many little things have been thought about to make the stay just like home (if you love home and have all the conveniences there). Extra hangers, big, fluffy towels and lots of them, coffee and tea available. The porch swings and rockers were icing on the fabulous cake. Would highly recommend Misty Mountain Retreat!

Renter Beware
This home is in a "Historic District" which we thought meant nice older neighborhood. When we arrived, a couple of close homes were in disrepair, the yards were unkept, and there was a broken down van sitting right in front of the home. We felt very unsafe in this neighborhood. There are nicer properties within a short drive, but this neighborhood was not one we felt was safe for our family. We ended up not even going into the home. We have rented from VRBO and never had this experience. We had to get a hotel for the nights booked and were refused a refund. VRBO told me that they were going to ask the company to refund our money, but the company told me that VRBO advised against it. I can't see how that would true. I'm not sure how they got so many great reviews because I did check them and that's why I booked. We were so disappointed.

Terrific Place
This property is so nice! Loved the wide porch for evening cocktails. The bedrooms were perfect for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. Kitchen was well- stocked. Very close to downtown area restaurants and a short drive to Asheville. We would stay here again and hope to do so!

Very nice property in a great location.
This house is well decorated, the kitchen is well-stocked. The floors are gorgeous, and the living room furniture is very comfortable. The only downside is that there is not a comfortable place to sleep in the property. I tried all three beds that were available and none of them were firm enough. I really enjoyed every other aspect of staying in this location.

Spring break
My wife said this is the nicest rental we have ever stayed and we have stayed at quite a few. The property is in excellent condition. Decorated beautifully and well equipped. Furnishings were very comfortable and the tv had a multitude of viewing options. Front porch was perfect for hanging out and walks in the old school neighborhood were enjoyable. Five stars without hesitation.
