Check in process, staff, the rooms , breakfast, location , price - everything about this hotel deserve 10
The staff was amazing always with a smile and a real will to help. We also fell in love with the shower head. the best we ever tried.
We would love to come back

Very neat and clean. Fresh and light rooms. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. Convenient location. Yes you do need to change lifts in 2nd floor but not a problem. Useful to have a pool and gym.

Location and the beds were comfy
No one mentioned needing a reservation for the pool. Even when they were telling us about the pool at check in. When we went up to the pool we were told they were booked that day and we needed to buy bathing caps to go in even if there was a time slot. We booked the hotel for the pool.
There’s one bar and it’s on the main floor. Menu is limited. No services above the main floor though the photos show people having drinks on the roof.
I emailed 4 times over two months to book a massage no one replied. So no massage.

Location is excellent. Breakfast was amazing.
2.5
Location and decor.
Service and room cleaning. We were unfortunately checked into a room that had a dead pigeon laying outside the window on the rocks- you could open the window and touch it it was so close.
We immediately asked the front desk for help. They assured us the dead bird would be removed and the room would be sanitized properly. After leaving the room for over 3 hours we returned to the dead bird not being attended to. We then had to speak with multiple staff members- some of which seemed irritated to assist- before the situation was attended to.
We were assured the room was cleaned properly after removing the dead bird- but it wasn’t, you could see footprints from whomever climbed onto the window sill to remove the dead bird. Then, the pillows they put on the bed were left on the window sill.
It was really a terrible experience and disappointing for a 5 star hotel.

Firstly, every member of staff I spoke you were WONDERFUL; very warm, kind, helpful. Everyone spoke wonderful English, I regret that I couldn't speak Spanish. They contributed much to how nice my experience was. Including the cleaners and breakfast staff. Loved that I had a bottle of water each time my room was cleaned. The cleaners even asked, of the sachets, which I would prefer to have more or less (tea or coffee etc). The location is fantastic also. The Cervantes monument is one of my favourite sculptural peieces in Madrid so it was nice to see it every day. Not far from the palace of course as well as bars and restaurants. I went to see a ballet by Compañía Nacional de Danza @cndanzaspain my firend performed in at Teatro de Zarazuela which wasn't far. I saw SILVIA PEREZ CRUZ @silviaperezcruzzzzz perform at the Noches de Botanico festival which was wonderful - it was about an hour's walk. Also the bathroom products were all great. I was only there for a couple of days but wish I was there longer.
Only issues were the swimming pool was too cold and I would have liked an espresso machine in the room. Reina Victoria had an espresso machine which meant I could buy my own pods which is really nice. It was nice to have a nice coffee in the room and saved me buying coffee outside plus it was too hot to want to buy coffee. But it's a very minor issue.

Breakfast was great and location right in the middle of Madrid is very useful meaning most things are within a walking distance.
The staff were super friendly
The hotel corridors are little too dark. Prior to travel I was completely unable to reach reservations through phone or email they never responded to my email.

excellent breakfast. loved the selection and the fact it stayed open nice and late. staff couldnt have been more helpful. rooms were clean and comfy.
the gym needs updating - the excercise bikes are rather dated.

Great location

The room was lovely and incredibly comfortable, although the bath had pubes around it when we arrived which was really unpleasant! The breakfast was great.
The swimming pool was so so cold and unusable which was such a shame as that was the only reason we went there. There is no outside space anywhere in the hotel which is a pity when it is hot.

the room was large although didn’t look like the photos exactly
the breakfast is amazing and has lots of variety
the pool the gym the sauna the location all great all in all
first room didn’t look at all like what I was offered by booking. but they moved me to another room.

The hotel is located near restaurants, shops, parks, the royal palace and public transport.
There beds are terrible for the price class, would recommend to avoid the hotel if you suffer from back pain.
There is a very noisy night club below the hotel, which didn't let us sleep, and our room was on the sixth floor.
The pool is tiny and shallow (up to one meter).
The gym has basic equipment, there were only two mattresses.
We were offered help by the staff in finding another hotel.

Nice and clean rooms and great location!
Everything was fine but my expectations on a 5star hotel were a little bit higher. Seemed more like a good 4 star hotel. Thus I found the high price not quite justified
