Very charming with lots of character and friendly staff!

The Ship Inn is located in the center of town on their High Street just a few steps from the waterfront. The staff was very nice and helpful. It’s above and old, old pub but not noisy. Good food in the restaurant!

Do not try to drive through this town. It is scary for an American. Find the overnight parking and walk the 100 yards.

Welcoming friendly Place

A lovely place to stay, a warm welcome and friendly reception from the landlady and her staff. It was dog friendly so suited us well. The breakfast was fab. The room was comfortable especially the bed slept well! Great location.

Passable!

The breakfast was good. The location was ideal. The room we had was a bit tired and could probably do with upgrading! The staff were very friendly.

The room could have been cleaned more thoroughly than it was but I suppose at this time of the season you can't expect great, but it's only my opinion

Exceptional

This was a fabulous stay, the bedroom was so comfortable. Di and Lee, our hosts, were so welcoming, and Jodie, Ebony, and all the staff are amazing. The food was excellent 👌. Can't wait to come and see you all again. Thank you all guys.

The location of The Ship Inn is excellent. The bar area is lovely, oak beams, low ceilings and very traditional, but is also spacious. The bedroom we had, had been decorated and the shower had been newly installed. The room was small, but for two nights it was fine.

it was noisy. But being a pub we expected that. Mevagissey has narrow streets, so deliveries are done in the early hours of the morning, so expect some disturbance from this. if you want to be in the centre of this lovely place, all this is very worth it.

Bar and food good. Bed comfortable

Basic room. Very noisy early in the morning...6am. Toiletries not good, although said provided them. No wardrobe just a cupboard. Asked for 2 rooms next to/near each other and got 2 rooms on different floors and either end of the pub, although we booked 8 months ago!

The Ship Inn is a fabulous place to stay for the annual Sea Shanty Festival.

location, friendly and very helpful staff.

The double bed was two singles put together but the mattresses were different. so uncomfortable and noisy springs on one side.

Beautiful location, gorgeous building all the staff were absolutely fabulous but just a bit more attention to detail nee

Location, atmosphere and all of the staff

we were given incorrect room which we didn’t comment on because one friend had not been able to come after all. Unfortunately there was no soap to wash your hands in the bathroom and although there were tea and coffee making facilities there were no teaspoons provided for making drinks.

Great place to stay

Good sized room, great location, friendly accommodating staff, and a very hearty breakfast. The food options at breakfast for vegans in particular were excellent!

It was a little loud at night, and one of our beds had not been made up with an undersheet.

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was yummy.

Very noisey due to being a pub and we were over the main door and next to the kitchen so we didn't get to sleep until 1am due to all the noise below ans next door.

Amazing staff, atmospheric pub in a great location

The pub was fabulous, great atmosphere, great food and very attentive staff whom were also fantastic with our little Labrador too, all massive dog lovers whom totally spoilt her.

Our room was directly above the bar so was quite noisy, but, I guess this is to be expected when staying in a pub. The room was very compact for the two of us and our dog, but still had everything we needed.
