About this apartment rental
Located in Athens’ Petralona neighbourhood, this carefully styled apartment puts you in a prime spot to soak up authentic Aethenian life, while still being within walking distance of countless cultural and historic hotspots.
Inside, an elegant blend of neutral tones and soft burgundys creates a sophisticated impression in the living area. We love the decorative touches here that create a real sense of elegance – from the textured throw cushions to the rainbow-coloured art on the walls, as well as the simple yet chic furnishings. Open the glass doors to step out onto a private balcony – the ideal place to begin sunny mornings over coffee and end nights with a celebraotry sundowner. And, when you’re not out sampling the local restaurant scene, the dining table back inside beckons intimate soirées over locally-bought produce and wine.
When you’re ready to turn in, retreat to the beautifully dressed bed for a blissful night’s sleep and wak up to the sleek bathroom with its luxurious rainfall shower – sure to get any day off on the right foot.
As for sightseeing, you’ve got plenty to see and do nearby with the Acropolis of Athens and Philopappos Hill both a twenty-minute walk, the Ancient Agora of Athens a twenty-three-minute stroll and the National Museum of Contemporary Art Αthens twenty-five minutes away on foot.
Home truths:
*You'll need to climb some stairs in order to reach the apartment's entrance
*At capacity, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living room – this will be at the expense of lounge space, however, so we think this home is better suited to two adults
*Well-behaved pets are welcome to stay – just let your host know in advance
*There's a laptop-friendly workspace
*Mosquito nets are provided
*Please keep noise levels to a minimum between 1 pm and 5 pm, as well as between 10 pm and 7 am
*The building's entrance is shared with the other residents
*Self-check-in is available
*Free street parking is available, but we recommend skipping the car and using Athens' public transport instead – Petralona station is a four-minute walk away
