Absolutely everything; we would love to return!
Nothing!

The location is superb, next to the river, beautiful countryside, very close to the railway station and the excellent Amberley museum. The chalet is pleasant with good facilities.
I think it may be the only place in the UK I've ever stayed where no tea or coffee was provided (though oddly, some sugar was!). I'm not keen on memory foam mattresses, but I may be unusual in that. Having "no check-in after 8pm" is distinctly restrictive.

Riverside Holiday Park is in a lovely peaceful location besides the River Arun. The lodge was spotlessly clean, with lots of natural light and all the facilities for a very comfortable break including an outside decking area which was perfect for morning coffee or to sit and relax in the evening. The beds were very comfortable and the main bedroom had it's own en-suite bathroom which is always handy when you are traveling with a family. The water pressure in the shower was very good which isn't always the case in holiday lettings. The kitchen area had a large fridge/freezer which was really useful. The on site tea room is lovely and the staff were so friendly. We hired E-bikes from the site which was a great way to get up on the Downs to explore further afield. We didn't hire a boat simply because we didn't have enough time but it looked great fun. Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the guy who explained to us how to use the E-bikes but he was very helpful and friendly. There are some lovely walks to local pubs directly from the site and beautiful Arundel is just a few miles away.
The lodge exceeded our expectations, the only minor thing I would say (not really a complaint) is there's not an awful lot of room in the kitchen cupboards to store food but we got around this by using the drawers and shelves in the cupboard where the ironing board and cleaning equipment are stored. Also a larger bread knife would be useful.

The lodge was lovely. Location good, near pub and train station. Good cafe on site.
Shame cafe closed at 5pm, especially when in a prime location with lots of potential business for the evening.
Unfortunately, booking.com mis sold this accommodation, as the photos lead us to believe that the lodge we were renting was on the river's edge. This was not the case. Need to make sure in future that it is clear whether you are renting a river view lodge or a country view lodge.

The lodge was spotless and all brand new! The restaurant was gorgeous and the staff were so friendly and went the extra mile! We also went on the boats, great experience!
The only slight criticism is that the cafe wasn’t open any later than 4pm and it would of been handy to have some dinner! But we coped ha ha

Staff were all absolutely lovely. I am Coeliac and lactose intolerant, and the café staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. The location is fabulous. The lodge was better than I expected for the price. The sofa was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The children have come home saying it has been one of their favourite holidays!
All minor things - we could have done with some cooler bedding, as the lodge got quite warm. We could have done with one larger pan in the kitchen. The dinner plates were also too big for the dishwasher, which was a bit awkward! But, no serious issues or concerns.

The location, the friendly staff.
There wasn't anything that I didn't like.
