PROS: I liked a lot about this property. We had 15 people and this could have easily housed more with 13 beds and 2 couches. It's not stated, but there are 2 kitchens.
It's in close proximity to downtown and the NRG stadium, which is where we were going for a robotics competition.
There's a TV in every room and an arcade game upstairs, so plenty of entertainment to keep the little ones busy.
CONS:
*Paid parking. It's $15/night for each vehicle you park in the driveway. This is not in the listing. If you want to park for free, you will have to use the street.
*Poor host responsiveness. We had a few issues, such as: light remote missing batteries and a missing TV remote. Host never showed up to address the issue. We ended up buying batteries. Host did offer to pay for the batteries.
*Property needs work. The floors aren't level; not even close. The air conditioner in the suite leaks water profusely.(We put a trash can under it and it was over a gallon overnight).
The dryer is vented inside and heats up the house unless you shut the door. Because it's vented inside, the floor gets wet in the washroom when you dry clothes.( I had to use a towel to dry the floor more than once).
* Garbage disposal didn't work; was told to use dishwasher
*Bathroom sink in suite drains slowly
*Low water pressure
It worked for what we needed, but I probably won't stay here again.

The house was updated and in an older part of town, the neighborhood was a mix. It was very covenant to downtown. The description on the ad stated, "fully equipped kitchen", there were very few pans and bowls to cook with in the kitchen, fortunately i travel with some. We had 8 guest and there was a total of 7 bath towels. I emailed inquiring on additional towels with no response, ended up running to Walmart to pick up a few. The house and rear garage has been sectioned so as to create several smaller rentals. The parking was fenced in on one side of the house. I saw this on goggle maps, it was one of the reasons I chose this property. I only found out that parking was $25 per night per car upon receipt of the check in instructions which i thought to be a little unprofessional. The add on Vrbo states parking as an amenity. If it was an amenity, then you should not charge for it and if you are going to charge for it then it should state this in the add. I was told "you can park in the street for free". All and all the stay was ok, probably not the property for me again.

The property was as posted, was there for a conference and it was spacious enough for everyone to have there space and then also come together. The owner contacted me before, during and after my stay. Thanks for the opportunity to rent!!

We were in town for a Cheer Competition at the George R Brown Convention center and this was perfect for us...10 minute drive. The house is made for a big family. It was very clean and we basically had all we needed to stay in and hang out if needed. We rented the top floor of the house and were pleasantly surprised with basically a 1 br apt. as part of our stay. Perfect for my Daughter and her husband as they have a new-born and 2 other young ones. Our teens stayed in the attic loft and were happy to also have their own space. Nice kitchen and good size living room made it better. All in all a really nice house in a great location. Will definitely be back.
